With a newly formed integrated team and an upcoming £5m appeal, Acorns is seeking a senior leader to review, refine and scale its approach to corporate and community income.
The Head of Partnerships is a senior leadership role responsible that will lead a newly integrated Partnerships Team covering corporate new business, corporate account management and community fundraising, ensuring clear tiering, structured pipeline progression and robust income performance.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Fundraising, you will hold full responsibility for corporate and community income targets, budgets, forecasting and return on investment. You will also act as the Partnerships lead for the fundraising appeal, co-canvassing alongside the Head of Philanthropy and executive leadership, and mobilising corporate and community networks around key campaign moments.
As Head of Partnerships, you will:
- Lead and integrate Corporate and Community fundraising into a cohesive partnerships strategy aligned to the wider Fundraising Strategy
- Design and implement a three-year corporate and community income plan, with full budget and forecasting responsibility
- Conduct an audit of current partnerships activity, pipeline and resource allocation to ensure effort aligns to regional and national potential
- Establish a clear tiering framework, ensuring smooth progression from new business into account management and appropriate movement from community into corporate relationships
- Support the development of corporate executives into major donor relationships where appropriate
- Lead corporate new business acquisition, securing multi-year strategic partnerships, Charity of the Year agreements, cause-related marketing, sponsorship and stock generation partnerships
- Lead high-value pitches and negotiations, positioning Acorns credibly within the ESG and CSR landscape
- Increase C-Suite engagement and develop the Business Ambassador strategy
- Oversee structured account management, ensuring robust account plans, relationship mapping and retention strategy

Essential skills and experience:
- Strong corporate fundraising background within a charity setting
- Proven track record of securing six-figure corporate gifts
- Experience managing and motivating teams to deliver robust income targets
- Experience designing strategies, annual plans and budgets and adapting them as required
- Strong knowledge of the corporate landscape, regionally and ideally nationally
- Confidence leading high-value pitches, negotiations and senior stakeholder engagement
- Experience of forecasting, reporting and managing income performance
- Strong working knowledge of CRM systems and fundraising compliance
Desirable:
- Experience across both local and national corporate partnerships
- Exposure to community fundraising or engagement programmes

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Fundraiser to provide maternity cover and ensure the smooth delivery of our Individual Giving programme. In this key role, you’ll help maintain stable income and deliver essential activity across our Individual Giving strategy.
You’ll manage a broad portfolio including Individual Donations, Regular Giving, Mid‑Level Gifts and Appeals, ensuring strong stewardship and supporter engagement to maximise retention and long‑term value.

Financial oversight, planning, and reporting
Review all financial transactions related to the ADB project on a monthly basis and ensure that they are correct including cost recovery, co-financing, bank balances, and coding.
Ensure the ADB project is up to date in the Grant Management Tracker, Co-financing Tracker and Cost Recovery forecast.
Prepare financial information for internal reporting, including contributions to quarterly CEO reports, monthly dashboards, and co-finance updates.
Prepare all ADB project donor financial reports and ensure consistency with internal data.
Prepare and submit other donor financial reports as required.

Monitor project and portfolio spending, flagging significant under & overspends in a timely manner to the Programme Finance Manager and Programmes & Partnerships team.
Financial controls, compliance, and audit
Lead financial planning and monitoring for the ADB project, ensuring alignment with ADB compliance requirements and AKF(UK) internal controls.
Support the design and implementation of quality controls, manuals, checklists, and tools to ensure compliance with donor requirements (ADB and others).

Oversee compliance with donor and AKF(UK) rules on procurement, accounting, and project expenditure, supported by reporting, engagement with the field, and spot checks.
Maintain internal tools (including AIMS) to track active ADB grants as well as other grants, ensuring data on secured funding, cost recovery, and cash balances remains up to date.
Prepare for and support donor and statutory audits, with particular responsibility for the ADB project while also contributing to audits of other grants.
Maintain an up-to-date audit and disallowance tracker for the ADB project, while supporting the Programme Finance Manager in tracking audit issues across all grants.
Troubleshoot donor compliance or procurement queries, with emphasis on ADB but extending to other donor portfolios where needed.
Act as a resource person for ADB donor compliance within AKF(UK), while sharing knowledge and lessons learned more widely across the grants portfolio.
Support wider Programme Finance team capacity-building efforts, drawing on insights from ADB donor requirements and practices.
Grant financial management
In close consultation with the programmes & partnerships team:
Maintain accurate financial records and grant codes for the ADB project, while supporting the set-up and management of other grants as needed.
Ensure timely submission of cash requests and sub-grant agreements, in compliance with both ADB and AKF(UK) standards, and support the same across the wider portfolio.
Review budgets for ADB and other donor concepts/proposals, ensuring inclusion of AKF(UK) costs, compliance with donor requirements, and consistency with narratives.
Support the in-country project management unit (PMU) to ensure that the project is robustly managed and proactively support the resolution of challenges as they arise.
Provide training and reference materials for implementing partners and field staff on ADB-specific donor regulations, procurement, and reporting, while contributing to broader finance training across the organisation.
Provide technical support and guidance to implementing partners and country units, with particular focus on ADB compliance but also assisting with other donor requirements as needed.
Conduct monitoring visits and spot checks on the ADB project and participate in risk monitoring across the wider portfolio.
Collaborate with the assigned Senior Partnerships Manager to align financial management with programme delivery.
Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Programme Finance Manager or the Head of Finance and Operations.
The role will involve travel to countries in which we operate grants, particularly Afghanistan (security situation dependent). Normally this could be 1-2 trips per year.
Qualifications
CCAB qualified accountant (desirable).
5.2 Experience
3 years relevant experience in financial accounting and financial reporting
Experience of designing and managing effective administrative systems and procedures
Experience of managing finances for large-scale, complex donor-funded projects. Experience of working with multilateral development banks (ADB, World Bank, AfDB, etc.) is highly desirable.
Experience of budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management
Experience working in international organisations or donor agencies, including field-level implementation, is highly desirable.

About The Job:
This is a vital role in delivering our fundraising strategy and goals. Main Areas Of Responsibility:
Income Generation

Strategy

· Lead the design and delivery of individual giving campaigns (including the Christmas campaign), using direct mail, digital marketing and advertisements to drive supporter acquisition and retention.
· Develop and design our legacy programme, working with Farewill and local law firms to encourage supporters to include Homeless Oxfordshire in their will.
· Work with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to develop and deliver a mid-level giving programme, driving the major donor pipeline and effectively stewarding donors giving at the £300-£1,000 level.
Operational Delivery
· Be responsible for the setting and managing of budgets, targets and KPIs. Report on progress, trends and take action when required. Analyse results and evaluate activity to inform future plans.
· Act as the lead-user for Raisers’ Edge, supervise the Data Administrator to ensure accurate data entry and reconciliation, and support the team with reporting and data analysis.
· Work collaboratively to ensure that all income generation activity is integrated and opportunities for cross-team working are maximised.
· Develop processes that enhance the team’s capacity, efficiency, and ensure effective fundraising.
· Manage external partners and agencies involved in fundraising delivery, ensuring due diligence, high quality and effectiveness.
· Ensure the highest standard of supporter experience in order to make the most of every interaction.

Art UK is an art education charity and the online home for every public collection of art in the United Kingdom. A shared e-commerce infrastructure helps collections generate much needed commercial income.
About You
As the Philanthropy Manager, you will be a confident and persuasive communicator, comfortable engaging with supporters and stakeholders at all levels. You will have a solid knowledge of philanthropic giving and a deep appreciation of the value of high-quality donor stewardship. Highly organised and detail-focused, you will enjoy working with data and be skilled at producing compelling content both on and offline. You will bring initiative, creativity and the ability to work independently, while also being a collaborative team player.
The Philanthropy Manager is a new donor-facing role, which will focus on expanding and strengthening a major donor portfolio to increase five and six figure income from individual donors and family trusts for Art UK. You will lead on managing and growing Art UK’s philanthropic giving programme, which includes the Patrons and supporter events programme and our major donor activity. Working within an ambitious team, you will have the support of a freelance Prospect Researcher to identify new prospects, and the Development Manager and CRM Officer to develop donor journeys and relationship management systems. You will report to the Head of Development, work closely with the CEO and Chair of the Philanthropy Board, and collaborate with colleagues across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a robust prospect pipeline through identification, research, cultivation and relationship-building to secure five-figure gifts and long-term support
- Manage a portfolio of mid-level individual donors, converting one-off supporters into deeper donor relationships
- Manage and grow Art UK’s mid-level regular giving programme, strengthening donor relationships through face-to face meetings, events and personalised communication
- Develop donor development strategies, using CRM to analysis and identify higher gift prospects from existing donor pool and maximise giving potential
- Lead on major gifts for annual Big Give campaigns, identifying and securing keystone pledge donors, and leveraging networks to reach giving targets
- Create and implement, effectively and in a timely manner, development plans for each donor to retain and upgrade donors and document all activities in CRM Beacon
- Prepare and personalise correspondence and fundraising materials, including donor stewardship and reports, funding proposals and acknowledgement letters as appropriate
- Work closely with the Marketing team and other colleagues to showcase Art UK’s work and enhance donor engagement
- Organise and deliver events for major donors and prospects (with support from the Development team), including attending events where appropriate
- Support management of the American Friends of Art UK (launching 2026), including donor stewarding and events programming
- Support senior leadership and board members in the preparation and delivery of high-quality donor pitches to secure new philanthropic gifts
- Monitor progress against targets and maintain accurate reporting, including updates to Art UK’s Board of Trustees and the Philanthropy Board
- Ensure pledges and donations are processed efficiently and that donors are thanked promptly and personally
- Work closely with all members of the Development team to ensure prospecting and cultivation activity is aligned and complementary
- Ensure all philanthropic fundraising activity is conducted in line with legal, regulatory and ethical best practice e.g. GDPR and the Chartered Institute of Fundraising Code of Practice

Corporate Parnterships Manager

The Caerlow Trust (“the Trust”) is a family-led discretionary grant-making trust, governed by four trustees (the Board) that aims to alleviate poverty-related suffering in the United Kingdom.
The Trust’s operating principles are rooted in the basic belief that everyone deserves to have access to sufficient resources such that they are not concerned with day-to-day survival. It aims to achieve this by making grants targeting three main pillars of work: hunger, homelessness, and addiction.

Role overview and purpose
The Grants Manager will provide a range of services that will be key to the Trust’s grant management cycle including research, assessment, database management and development, reporting and evaluation. They will be the key contact for a portfolio of grant applicants and recipients, to support them throughout their relationship with the Trust.
Key responsibilities
Grants Management:
· Managing a portfolio of grants throughout the entire grant cycle including assessment, award, support, monitoring and learning
· Act as the key contact for grant applicants and recipients, developing positive and supportive working relationships
· Organising and holding meetings with grantees, including taking notes and following up on actions
· Administrative tasks relating to grants, including correspondence, drafting and issuing agreements, tracking of applications, reports and payments
