About the role:

This Best Companies Top 50 mid-sized company and Top 10 Charity is looking to appoint a Accounts Payable Executive. The Accounts Payable Executive will be responsible for providing an efficient and accurate administrative support to the Finance Team within Rainbow Trust. The role is integral to the smooth running of the Finance department, with responsibility for providing a comprehensive and efficient service. Reporting to the Finance Manager, The Accounts Payable Executive will be Responsible for the end-to-end processing of the account payable function and supplier management. As well as supporting the processing of staff expenses and credit cards to meet payroll deadlines and assist with payroll changes on an ad-hoc basis. • Competent in processing financial data – Applications will be particularly welcome from those who have experience of working in a finance or HR department, processing supplier invoices, using Sage 50, or processing payroll changes

About the role

The Social Media and Marketing Officer will deliver high-performing digital marketing campaigns that drive supporter acquisition and engagement. About the role

Sitting within our people and organisational development team and reporting into the senior learning & organisational development manager, you’ll support us with a wide range of administrative duties across the learning & development; people; equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) and internal communications & engagement functions.

This is an exciting role in our committed policy team leading the fight to end child poverty in the UK. The government has just published a UK wide cross-government child poverty strategy, and made some historic commitments to reduce child poverty including scrapping the two-child limit and expanding free school meals in England. However, there is more to do, and this is a great time to join CPAG as we look to monitor the impact of these changes and influence policy makers and parliamentarians to ensure child poverty is high up the agenda.

We are looking for someone with a track record of communicating complex policy areas in an accessible manner to a range of non-specialist audiences. You will have knowledge of parliamentary processes and the different advocacy levers that can be used to influence change. You will enjoy working collaboratively to identify policy issues and develop solutions, working closely with colleagues across the organisation as well as externally.

In addition, in a senior policy officer we are looking for someone to take a lead role in developing CPAG’s policy and research programme, including leading the delivery of research projects, helping to shape our press and campaigns work, and contributing to the development of future projects including fundraising.

You will have a track record of producing high quality research and analysis, including policy briefings, on social policy issues.

The postholder will be working in a fast moving, high profile and complex policy environment and will need to balance short term priorities with long term objectives. Current priorities include influencing the implementation of the forthcoming child poverty strategy, sharing analysis and expertise as part of the DWP’s review of universal credit, and monitoring the development of the green paper on the changes to disability benefits.

We are seeking a faith-filled Christian leader who is passionate about bringing hope to youth and children, and who will lead on mission and discipleship across West Derby Deanery as part of our Youth and Children’s Hub strategy, which is in its early stages of development. 

A Youth and Children’s Hub is a new concept which seeks to create a joined up, supported plan in deaneries to ensure that there is opportunity for children, young people and their families to access discipleship, worship and faith communities in a range of styles, places and times.

We have a new and exciting opportunity for Band 6 Palliative Nurse Specialists to join the Access Community Nurse Specialist Team here at St Peter’s Hospice, Brentry.

The Access CNS Team work between 07:45 and 20:00, 7 days a week to manage the clinical Advice Line, taking calls from external healthcare professionals, patients and their families.

The team also lead our new, nurse led outpatient clinics, assessing patients who are well enough to attend an appointment in Brentry.

About the role

As a specialist nurse working at the forefront of the hospice, you will be a key resource, providing evidence based, contemporary support and advice. 

You will need knowledge and experience of palliative care, excellent communication skills, the ability to confidently and dynamically prioritise an unpredictable workload and a passion to continuously improve and develop.

Whilst working predominantly autonomously, you will have the support of the wider hospice team, regular clinical supervision and exposure to wider teaching and development of your skills/knowledge.

Working as a Palliative Access Community Nurse Specialist requires a core skill set
•  Holistic assessment via phone and face to face within our outpatient clinics
•  Problem solving, decision making, symptom control and prescribing advice
•  Advance care planning and completion of Respect plus    
•  Joint working / signposting with internal and external MDT

The team work a mix of long and short shifts over 7 days.

Join our Regional Whole School SEND Teams – help shape the future of SEND

Whole School SEND is expanding its regional teams, and we are looking for experienced SEND leaders to step into seconded Deputy Regional SEND Leader positions.

As a Deputy Regional SEND Leader, you will support the delivery of the DfE’s Universal SEND Services programme, helping schools and colleges across your region to develop inclusive practice and improve outcomes for learners with SEND. Working in close partnership with national and regional colleagues, you will lead professional networks, support strategic SEND development and share evidence based practice.

These roles are ideal for experienced SEND leaders who:

• already think beyond one school
• have strong professional networks across their region
• are confident working with senior leaders, MATs, local authorities and other partners
• want to shape policy and practice at a national level
• value collaboration, knowledge exchange and inclusive leadership

You might currently be:

• a MAT SEND / Inclusion Director or Lead
• a trustwide SENCo / Inclusion Lead
• a local authority SEND leader
• an experienced SENCo influencing across multiple schools
• a system leader with credibility and influence in your region

This role is offered on a secondment basis. This means the successful applicant will remain employed by their current organisation, and Whole School SEND (through nasen) will reimburse the employer for the time the individual spends undertaking Regional SEND Leader duties. The secondment fee of £550 per day is paid directly to the employing organisation, ensuring there is no financial loss to the school, trust or local authority releasing the colleague for this work.

The Deputy Regional SEND Leader will continue in their substantive role while contributing the equivalent of one day a week (40 days across the year) to Whole School SEND. This model enables leaders to bring current, real world expertise into the national programme while maintaining their ongoing responsibilities within their home organisation.

This role requires flexibility, occasional travel and occasional overnight stays.
