Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) exists so nobody in Scotland suffers or dies because medical help cannot get there in time. People can get sick or have accidents anywhere and anytime. But in Scotland there are places where urgent medical help cannot reach people. Or help gets there too late. And when lives are at risk every minute matters. The Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to join our team as Administration Manager. As Manager of a small team of administration assistants, you will play a crucial role in coordinating administrative support across our Perth and Aberdeen offices, ensuring the smooth running of the organisation by providing support across several of the charity’s functions including fundraising, finance, marketing and operations.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar office or administration management role, ideally within the charity sector. They will be proactive in building positive relationships across the charity and will be confident managing projects, budgets and external suppliers. They will have experience of using CRM systems in a fundraising context, be solutions-focused and have a strong commitment to our mission.
This role will be based from our headquarters at Perth Airport, and occasional travel to our Aberdeen base will be required. SCAA supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements—our current approach typically includes two office days per week for those working on a hybrid basis. The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am—5pm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for running these sessions weekly, managing session staff, delivering engaging activities, attending occasional day trips, as well as responding to and reporting any safeguarding concerns.
Key responsibilities will include:
- To lead the delivery of youth sessions at Knights Youth Centre (KYC) and facilitate youth provision in line with the ethos, values and vision of Oasis.
- To work and engage with young people (aged 11-14), by delivering planned sessions, activities and occasional trips for 20-40 individuals.
- Deliver informal education opportunities and small group mentoring within the identified sessions and the wider community.
- To manage and coordinate KYC staff members whilst leading sessions.
- Record all activity on our data management system.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people you come into contact with.
- Actively engage in the learning and professional development courses provided as part of this employment.
The successful post holder must have:
· Proven experience in leading youth work provision for young people aged 11-14.
· Experience of managing staff in a youth provision setting.
· An understanding of the challenges impacting young people in Lambeth – in particular education, employment, mental health and criminal exploitation.
· Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
· Knowledge of safeguarding practices and experience working with young people in challenging environments.

The Role
As the Financial Controller, you will report to the Finance & HR Director and support the Finance & HR Director in leading day-to-day financial operations, taking ownership of transactional accounting and month-end reconciliations. You’ll maintain the general ledger, ensure data integrity across systems, and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control functions. The role involves coordinating payroll, preparing management accounts and VAT returns, supporting budget preparation and assisting with year-end accounts and external audits.
You’ll also manage the Assistant Finance Manager and play a key role in the organisation’s financial stability and operational success.
In your roles, you will work closely with the Finance & HR Director to support the development and implementation of Financial Policies and processes and ensure compliance with all laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the month-end reconciliation process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including credit control activities, with support from the Assistant Finance Manager.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure data integrity between accounting systems.
- Coordinate payroll administration and liaise with external payroll providers.
- Prepare management accounts and financial reports.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with regulatory requirements.
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis throughout the financial year.
- Assist with external audit processes and year-end financial statement preparation.
- Support the Senior Management Team with guidance on Financial Policies and Processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of financial processes, systems and compliance.

Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a hands-on finance role with transactional accounting responsibilities.
- Proven experience managing the month-end close and preparing management accounts.
- High-level Excel proficiency and ability to work with financial data confidently.
- Experience with accounting software (Xero experience is advantageous).
- Proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Experience in the charity sector, including technical expertise in Charity SORP, is advantageous.

In this newly created role you will develop our work on influencing and telling the truth about poverty, this is one of two objectives for the charity. You will help build relationships of influence within the Church of England, Government and other decision makers to use our stories and impact to show the difference churches and faith groups can make in ending material and relational poverty. You will develop policy positions on areas of CUF’s work in relation to poverty that will give a firm basis for our work, and that we will be able to speak out on with confidence and knowledge based on connection to grassroots churches and organisations. You will develop a robust mechanism for reporting on impact, which goes beyond just evaluating our work but demonstrates the difference that faith based social action can make on ending poverty together.
This role will report to the CEO, but work across all of CUF’s teams and departments and will be responsible for the line management of the Listening and Learning Officer.

About CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.
We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.
Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.
The Role
We’re excited to be creating a new Head of People role to support the next phase of our charity’s development. The role provides strategic leadership, expert input and operational oversight of CoppaFeel!’s people, culture and employment practices, aligned with organisational strategy, values and governance.
Blending strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, the role operates with professional autonomy within the People remit and works in close partnership with the Director of Operations, who retains overall accountability. You will support senior leaders, strengthen organisational culture and ensure people practices are consistent, inclusive and effective as the organisation evolves.
This role sits within the Operations Department, reports into the Director of Operations and line manages the HR Manager. This is a hybrid role, with two days per week in our London office. The role is full-time but will consider part-time.
Duties and Responsibilities
The responsibilities below set out the primary scope of the role, but are not an exhaustive list. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to shape future needs, build capacity and respond to organisational growth.
- Develop, implement and deliver CoppaFeel!’s People Strategy to support organisational priorities, providing expert input into strategic decision making and organisational planning.
- Lead strategic workforce planning including succession planning to identify and plan for the charity’s future .
- Establish, monitor and report on key people metrics and performance indicators, using data and insight to evaluate effectiveness, inform continuous improvement and support evidence based decision making for the Leadership team, SMT and , where appropriate, Trustees.

- Fulfill the responsibilities of a Head of Department, including accountability for delivery and outcomes, role modelling CoppaFeel!’s leadership behaviours and contributing to effective organisational decision making.
- Act as senior lead for complex employee relations issues and provide expert guidance on best practice.
- Develop and coach managers and leaders across the organisation to embed a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Ensure HR practices are consistent, equitable and legally compliant.
- Maintain, develop , implement and communicate People Policies, processes and systems, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all staff.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law, GDPR and safeguarding requirements.
- Support the Director of Operations in managing people related risk, and reporting, contributing to SMT, CEO and Trustee level oversight as required.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

- CIPD Level 5 minimum (Level 7 desirable).
- Significant HR generalist experience at senior advisory or lead level.

- Strong understanding of UK employment law and GDPR.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels.
