Deepening the critical understanding of the work that the organisation deliver for bereaved children, young people and families, you will craft compelling copy and maintain messaging that is consistent, timely, and effective across channels. By combining insight, creativity, and empathy, your campaigns will connect with audiences on a meaningful level, encouraging participation, advocacy, and support for our mission.
The successful candidate will demonstrate organisation and drive to bring strategy to life, converting to meaningful content and campaigns. You will have previous experience of engaging external suppliers, and with oversight of PR and Press, your experience of supporting the generation of compelling content is a given. As well as your leadership and involvement within external marketing and communications, you will also lead on internal communications, driving colleague engagement and understanding.

Prospectus is pleased to be partnering with our client, an incredible national charity, providing specialist bereavement support services to bereaved children, young people, parents and families. They are currently looking to recruit 2 Bereavement Support Managers to oversee the delivery of their On Demand Bereavement Support Service.
As Bereavement Support Manager, you will oversee the effective and efficient running of the charity’s On Demand Bereavement Support Service which includes Helpline, Live Chat and ASK email. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating a small team of staff and volunteers (all working on a remote basis) and will ensure the service is adequately staffed to provide on demand support services when required. In addition to line managing the On Demand Bereavement Specialists, the post holder will also work as part of the delivery rota in order to support the team directly, provide real-time guidance, and cover frontline services gaps. This blended role combines hands-on leadership, active service participation, and quality assurance, promoting excellent clinical standards, safeguarding practice, and a culture of learning and care.
To be considered for this role, you will have extensive experience of working with children, young people, and families in either a bereavement or similar field at managerial level, and will have a significant awareness and knowledge of the emotional and psychological impact of bereavement and loss. You will have a Level 5 Foundation Degree, HND or Diploma of Higher Education as well as a current registration with a professional body (i.e. HCPC, BACP, UKCP, ACP). Overall, you will be a collaborative, compassionate manager, passionate about delivering high quality support services to vulnerable people.

The organisation's Development Office is a busy, in-person office that provides a world-class environment to be close to supporters, development colleagues, and performance staff and performers. This role is offered on a permanent contract basis paying a salary of £36,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and will be mainly on-site in Covent Garden.
The Philanthropy Manager will manage a portfolio of key philanthropic relationships and increase the value of the relationships with existing supporters. They will maximise income from philanthropists through new initiatives and promotion of a range of activities, including regular events. The post holder will create and develop giving circles too and will work to an agreed plan for each approach and actively solicit gifts personally where appropriate.
They are looking for someone with a demonstratable track record in philanthropy or fundraising for major organisations and a demonstrated success in managing a portfolio of high value relationships. They are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience of personally securing four and five figure donations. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of experience and innovation and will have an understanding of the art forms of opera, ballet, music and dance.

The role
Reporting to the CEO, this new role will ensure MediCinema’s financial strength, operational excellence and people-centred culture as we consolidate our recent growth and proceed with our plans for more sites across the UK. You will lead finance, HR and organisational operations, overseeing systems, compliance and high-quality corporate services that support our national expansion.
From financial planning and audit, to overseeing IT and digital development, to ensuring a solid HR strategy and people practices, you will ensure the infrastructure behind our therapeutic services remains robust, efficient and future-ready. A hands-on leader (supported by external experts), you will bring clarity, rigour and creativity to a purpose-led charity striving to improve patient experiences across the NHS.
About you
We are seeking a collaborative, ambitious and hands-on leader with:
Experience in the charity, health or social impact sectors, as well as an accounting qualification, are desirable but not essential.
