About the role

This role is for an experienced Communications Officer who wants to put their skills to work supporting Right to Remain to build knowledge, radical solidarity and power in the face of escalating attacks on the rights and dignity of migrants, refugees, and people seeking asylum.

You will use strategic, thoughtful communications to amplify lived experience of the asylum and immigration system, showcase grassroots organising, and promote our expert public legal education resources and training. Your work will empower more people to understand and exercise their rights, and support grassroots community groups and allies to guide, and stand in solidarity with, people navigating the hostile asylum and immigration system.

You will have experience building and engaging communities around social justice through targeted digital communications. Day to day, you will collaborate within our small team to produce email, social and web content that demystifies public legal knowledge and showcases community power. You will also co-create content with These Walls Must Fall campaigners to share their stories, and help set out the impact of political decisions in the press.

You are an experienced communicator with excellent written skills and a strong ability to develop clear, engaging messages for different audiences.

You bring a genuine commitment to migration justice and care deeply about centring the voices of people with lived experience.

This is not an entry-level role. You are confident working independently within a small, collaborative team, taking guidance while proactively identifying priorities, opportunities, and risks. About the role

As Supporter Led Fundraising Lead, you will be responsible for delivering impact through the strategic development and management of supporter-led fundraising income streams, including UK and international challenge events, committed fundraisers and individual fundraising initiatives.

This is a key leadership role within the Community Fundraising & Engagement team, suited to someone already operating at manager level who is ready to step into a senior leadership position. You will lead and coach a multidisciplinary team, working closely with colleagues across fundraising, marketing, data and communications to maximise income, engagement and lifetime value.

You will play a critical part in growing unrestricted income, strengthening supporter relationships and positioning Save the Children at the heart of local communities across the UK.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the supporter-led fundraising squad, setting strategy and overseeing the planning and delivery of a portfolio of UK and international challenge events.

• Deliver ambitious fundraising targets by securing flexible income through high-quality events, stewardship and supporter experiences aligned to organisational impact goals.

• Identify and develop new supporter-led fundraising propositions to grow income, increase retention and build brand awareness across communities.

About this job

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Income and Gift Aid Accountant Assistant to help us make sure every penny counts in our mission to stop MS. You'll play a key role in managing our income processing and supporting Gift Aid claims to help us maximise the value of every donation.

You'll ensure that donations recorded in our CRM system match the funds received, resolving discrepancies and supporting our income processes to run efficiently. Working closely with our Customer Services and Fundraising teams you’ll be at the heart of making sure our financial data is accurate and robust.

You’ll also assist with preparing and checking Gift Aid claims, helping us claim back vital extra funds at no additional cost to our supporters. Your detail driven approach will help us continue to build a strong and transparent foundation for everything we do.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a good understanding of financial accounting principles, strong Excel and IT skills, and a collaborative problem-solving approach. Excellent communication and organisational skills will also be essential as you work closely with teams across the organisation to ensure our income records are accurate and efficient.

Interim Fire Safety Works Support Coordinator (Initial 3-Month Contract – Immediate Start Potential)

Overview We are seeking an experienced interim professional to provide operational support to the Fire and Security Contracts Manager in a large housing association. The role focuses on coordinating the delivery of minor and responsive works arising from fire-related cyclical inspections (including Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) and Fire Door Inspection (FDI) actions) across a diverse property portfolio.

This is a hands-on, autonomous position requiring strong initiative, with an emphasis on ensuring safe, timely, compliant, and budget-controlled outcomes for residents. It is ideal for a contractor with proven experience in fire safety compliance and works delivery in regulated environments such as social housing, construction, or property management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the full delivery cycle of outsourced and internal minor/responsive fire safety works, including scoping, issuing instructions, monitoring progress, verifying completion evidence, and managing contractor performance.
• Review completed FRA and FDI actions; ensure evidence is satisfactory, validate/audit works (particularly fire door replacements) against manufacturer instructions, accreditation bodies, and relevant technical guidance; upload approved evidence to relevant systems (e.g., SharePoint or compliance hubs).
• Conduct site inspections, quality audits, and regular meetings with subcontractors to confirm health & safety compliance and adherence to regulatory/legislative requirements.
• Liaise effectively with internal teams, external contractors, residents, and locality stakeholders to keep all parties informed and maintain collaborative relationships.
• Manage financial aspects of works delivery, including budget monitoring and control to ensure expenditure remains within agreed limits.

Job Purpose

To provide excellent supporter experience and donor stewardship, and to ensure efficient and accurate processing of fundraised income.

Responsible For

Day-to-day responsibility for supporter care of fundraising audiences – managing enquiries through phone, post  and online. Responsible for income processing onto the CRM of all donations. And supporting the portfolio in providing excellent supporter experience to retain supporters for the long-term.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage incoming post and communications from supporters and potential supporters, responding to queries within the SLA in a friendly, supporter-focussed manner.
• Income processing of all donations and month-end reconciliation, ensuring all information relating is accurate on the database.
• Manage administration of gift aid processes including scanning declarations and adding to the fundraising database.
• Manage administration of online giving platforms such as Just Giving, CAF and GoFundMe.

As our Digital Technical Lead, you will guide the direction of our supporter facing digital platforms and support colleagues to make informed technical choices. This role will influence how the Motor Neurone Disease Association delivers accessible and reliable digital platforms for people affected by motor neurone disease (MND), supporters and volunteer-facing digital platforms and support colleagues to make informed.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for our website agency, ensuring accountable, value -driven partnership working
• Provide technical oversight to ensure external-facing digital platforms are secure, scalable and aligned with best practice
• Upskill colleagues and encourage product--based ways of working across teams
• Monitor performance using analytics and user insight to make data-led decisions

Main responsibilities

• Ensure Pancreatic Cancer Action benefits from integrating our CRM and other software into the website.
• Ensure that content is regularly reviewed and updated, and new content is added to the site regularly (blogs, news etc.).

SEO

• Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic.
• Conduct keyword research, on-page optimisation and technical SEO audits.
• Monitor, analyse and report on SEO performance.

Paid Media

• This is a vital and rapidly growing area for the charity, and this role will manage all paid-for digital marketing, including lead generation and acquisition (Meta, Google, etc.).
• Create advertising campaigns and ensure effective tracking, monitoring, improvements, evaluation, and reporting of campaigns.
• Oversee our Google Ads grant (PPC) and (CRO) Google Tag Manager.
• Manage our main Google Ads account and launch Search, Display, and YouTube advertising for our digital-first Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month campaign.
• Deliver detailed advertising reporting using Looker Studio or other similar digital dashboards.

Digital content

• Manage and maintain the content calendar, including planning and scheduling content that aligns to both Pancreatic Cancer Action and project objectives.
• Create and manage the sourcing of high-quality content for blogs, website pages, social media posts, email content and for all other digital channels.
• Write, edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment to Pancreatic Cancer Action’s Text and Brand Guidelines.
• Create engaging design assets for use across all digital channels, including video and animation.
• Responsibility for pixels and unique identifiers for analytics.

Social media

• Work with the Head of Marketing and Communications to develop a social media strategy and set goals to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• To be responsible for all Pancreatic Cancer Action social media channels, including design and content development, scheduling, optimising, and reporting.
• Work with our Marketing and Communications Executive to manage social media channels on a day-to day-basis, engaging with Pancreatic Cancer Action audiences by responding to comments and queries and being proactive to find out more and nurture relationships.
• Plan social media campaigns in line with other marketing and communications or charity-wide activities.
• Use social media analytics to generate regular reports, using results to inform future day-to-day work and campaigns.

Email marketing

• Create and distribute monthly e-newsletters to Pancreatic Cancer Action segmented subscribers.
• Create and distribute email campaigns to segmented audiences.

• Segment email lists and ensure personalised messaging for targeted audiences.

Working as part of a team

Working closely with your co‑head, you will provide shared leadership to a dynamic social justice team, supporting excellent casework, nurturing staff development, and building strong, values‑led partnerships. Your remit will include strengthening and growing our legal aid services, securing sustainable funding to support community‑focused work, and influencing policy and practice to improve access to legal aid for the communities we serve.

Please Note: We do not expect the appointee to generate legal aid income at a multiple of their salary (although we do want to build this area of income initially to at least £25,000 to £30,000 per annum across the team). The role is focused on developing legal aid practice and income across the team, as part of a mixed-income organisational model.

As Joint Head of Legal Services, you will:
•Support Strategic Development: Contribute to developing the direction and priorities of Release’s legal services, including expanding legal aid work and strengthening access to justice.
•Provide Practice Leadership: Support a multidisciplinary team of solicitors, legal advisers and volunteers to deliver excellent, trauma-informed legal support.
•Ensure Quality and Compliance: Help ensure consistent regulatory compliance and quality assurance across legal casework, including legal aid requirements.
•Strengthen and Grow Services: Help develop and improve legal service delivery models, including responding to emerging needs and client priorities.
•Contribute to Systemic Change: Support Release’s wider mission by helping connect legal services with policy, research, and advocacy work.

This role is ideal for someone with strong legal aid expertise and management potential, who wants to take a meaningful step into senior leadership whilst continuing to centre client care, justice and harm reduction.

Person Specification

Essential
•Minimum 6 years + post qualified solicitor with a current practising certificate, and
•Minimum 4 years + substantial experience in legal aid casework, supervision and/or compliance, and
•Minimum 2 years + experience of supervising others and/or management experience and
•Substantial experience in public law, housing law, and/or community care law within legal aid practice, and
•Strong commitment to social justice, harm reduction, and trauma-informed practice.

Desirable

Experience working in a charity or non‑profit organisation.
Experience supporting, contributing to, or developing test case work, policy‑linked casework, or other legal work aimed at achieving wider systemic or community impact, including through indirect, collaborative, or emerging roles.
Understanding of the impact of drug policy and criminalisation on marginalised communities.
Experience in developing new services, partnerships, or funding‑linked delivery models.
