About the role and you

We are recruiting for a management accountant to work within our busy finance team at our Bromsgrove office.

You will be a professionally qualified accountant able to provide technical leadership as well as ongiong support to the Director of finance and coaching to the wider finance team. You will be a team player and have excellent attention to detail. You will need previous experience in management accounting as well as strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with non-finance staff. Previous sytems experience (Xledger preferred), as well as an excellent knowledge of Excel.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a senior fundraiser / income-generation specialist with the ambition to grow and diversify our income streams sustainably. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will bring strategic planning and action to the income generation work needed to ensure that the charity can continue delivering, and increase the reach of, its life-changing support to Asylum Seeker and Refugee communities in and around Derby.

Operational responsibilities:

Income generation and external partnerships

• Hold overall accountability for income generation across trusts and foundations, statutory funding, corporate partnerships, major donors and community fundraising.
• Developer and deliver a statutory fundraising strategy to maximise income from government, NHS, lottery and public sector funders.
• Lead and write high-quality funding bids, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and operational teams to shape compelling programme proposals.
• Oversee the management of the charity's current grant portfolio; ensuring grant applications and reports are delivered on time and in accordance with internal processes.
• Ensure that the voice, experience and dignity of refugees are meaningfully and ethically reflected in all fundraising and communication activity.

Role Specific Competencies

• Significant experience leading high-value fundraising across multiple income streams, with a strong track record of income growth in a large charity.
• Demonstrable success securing and stewarding 6- and 7-figure partnerships or donations from corporate partners, trusts/foundations, statutory funders and/or major donors.

The role

This is an exciting new role to work closely with the Finance Director and finance team. We are looking for a finance manager who can provide robust financial controls and reporting to help ensure we maximise our impact and make every penny count.

About MAAC

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC) funds and delivers a pre-hospital emergency helicopter-led service across the Midlands region (serving six counties). As well as being a charity, we are an independent health care provider that is rated outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).  Our mission is to deliver exceptional pre-hospital care and lifesaving interventions through our helicopter-led emergency medical services. The Opportunity

As MAAC prepares for the planned departure of its current postholder, the organisation is seeking an exceptional Director of Finance to join the Executive Team. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Finance Director is a key member of the Charity’s Leadership Team, providing strategic financial direction across the Group (the parent charity and its trading subsidiary). This role ensures the organisation remains financially resilient, well‑governed, and strongly positioned to deliver its mission for the long term – through working collaboratively with the Chief Executive, Leadership Team and Board members.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Play a key role as part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), contributing to organisational strategy and fostering strong cross‑department collaboration.  Work collaboratively with the Chief Executive and SLT to develop and maintain the three-year strategic plan, ensuring financial projections, assumptions, and scenario planning are based on accurate data and sound forecasting.
• Provide strategic financial leadership that supports long‑term sustainability, future growth, and the delivery of critical services.

About You

You will be a professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with substantial senior‑level experience and the credibility to operate confidently at Board level. Most importantly, you will embody strong values, show high emotional intelligence, and be genuinely motivated to contribute to MAAC’s mission. Charity sector experience is essential -  with a thorough understanding of what it takes to promote financial best practice, control spend and assist with income generation in sizable Not-for-Profit environments. Cleveland Independant Stalking Advocates deliver high-quality advocacy, advice, and emotional support to victims of stalking across Cleveland. The position will support victims to navigate the criminal justice system (CJS), civil and family courts, and wider statutory and voluntary services. For a large, global NGO, we are recruiting a Global Financial Controller. Reporting to the Global CFO, the Global FInancial Controller will join during a period of transformation to lead the development and delivery of financial systems, processes and controls supporting global operations, drive compliance, and enable informed decision-making. About the Role

We are seeking an individual to undertake holistic assessments of need, both remotely (over the telephone and online) and in person across their region. They will be expected to work with individuals who may have complex and sometimes challenging welfare needs, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within both the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector, ensuring that support is made available to meet their need through the case working process.

In addition to their primary casework role, they will provide specialist social work related advice and guidance to our Single Point of Contact Helpline team and our wider welfare teams. Applicants must be an experienced, registered social worker with a minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience within a Local Authority or the Charitable sector.

Applicants must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and best practice relating to the safeguarding of adults and children.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals and will have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of issues affecting the Armed Forces community.

This role will be based in our Central London Headquarters, with a hybrid working pattern, with up to 2 days per week working from home. Occasional travel to support cases and wider Fund activity, outside of this region, may be required.

Fundraising and Partnership Coordinator

Use your fundraising and partnership‑building skills to support people with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs to live richer, more meaningful lives.

We offer a wide range of services that help the people we support to truly thrive in their communities. To make this possible, we’re looking for someone who can help us raise funds for the extras that statutory funding doesn’t cover—those things that make life richer, more connected, and more joyful.

While we fundraise for a variety of enhancements, the heart of our efforts is focused on our community‑based projects, including:

• Warmley Wheelers – our accessible cycling project that enables people of all abilities to enjoy the freedom and wellbeing benefits of cycling.
• Creative arts programmes – offering people meaningful ways to express themselves, build confidence, and connect with others.
• Garden‑based wellbeing initiatives – supporting the startup of therapeutic community gardening projects that nurture both people and green space.

We’re seeking someone who can help bring these projects to life—someone who can secure the funding that turns good ideas into real, lasting impact for local people.

About the role:

As our Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering our Fundraising Strategy by:

• securing income through well‑crafted grant applications
• building meaningful, strategic partnerships with local and national businesses

Your work will directly support the growth and sustainability of our community programmes, ensuring we can continue offering the opportunities and experiences that make a real difference.

This is a developmental role, designed to help you grow and thrive professionally. To support your success, you will receive structured mentoring, coaching, and professional development over a 6–9 month period from a senior freelance fundraising specialist. This hands‑on support reflects our commitment to nurturing talent and ensuring you feel confident and equipped to progress in your fundraising career.

What you’ll do:

• Research, prepare, and submit high‑quality funding applications to trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies.
• Build and manage relationships with funders and corporate partners, creating tailored proposals and partnership opportunities.
• Monitor grant budgets and ensure compliance with funder requirements and fundraising regulations.
• Support marketing and communications for fundraising campaigns and coordinate corporate fundraising events.
• Engage with the people we support to ensure their voices are represented positively and respectfully in bids and reports.

What we’re looking for:

• Educated to A‑Level standard or equivalent, with strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Proven experience in charity fundraising, including successful grant applications and corporate partnerships.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to craft persuasive proposals.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive, results‑driven approach and commitment to our values.

Desirable:

• Institute of Fundraising (IoF) qualification
• Knowledge of CRM systems
• Experience in community‑based fundraising

This is a key role within our Finance team, combining technical expertise, team supervision, and strategic support. You’ll work closely with the Finance Director and Senior Management Team to provide clear, accurate financial information that helps guide decision-making across our ministries.

You will play a central part in strengthening financial processes, improving reporting, and ensuring compliance while helping us honour God through faithful stewardship of the resources entrusted to us.

 Key responsibilities include:

· Financial Reporting & Management Information

· Team Supervision

· Statutory Accounts & Audit

· VAT

Essential:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or ICAEW qualified (Applied Skills and Strategic Professional level completed)
• Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and statutory accounts
• Experience supervising or supporting finance staff
• Solid understanding of VAT processes
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues
• This role requires a basic DBS check

Occupational Requirement:

 In accordance with the Equality Act of 2010 and due to the context of the role there is an ‘occupational requirement’ for the post holder to be an evangelical Christian. The job holder should be committed to the purpose of SPI and be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for the Christian purposes of the organisation and be able to live out, hold to, support and contribute to its Christian ethos.

As part of a team you will deliver a range of activities and support including: 

• Our Wellbeing café  

• Wellbeing Wednesdays offering one-to-one emotional support

• Managing a caseload giving structured one-to-one support

Ultimately, you’ll be sharing in our goal to improve the health & wellbeing for young people through early intervention and advocacy. Working closely with a range of partner organisations, both voluntary and statutory (including CAMHS, AMHS and Social Services), you will help young people receive the right support at the right time.

There are 2 roles - 1 x fixed term contract until 30th June 2027 and 1 x maternity cover until January 2027. These are part time roles at 22.2 hours per week. The salary will be pro-rated to these hours
