About the Role

Headway East London is looking for a compassionate and motivated Community Support Worker to support adults living with brain injury across our 13 London borough catchment area. You will support members in their own homes and local communities. This is a varied, people-focused role where you will work one to one in the community, helping individuals live with greater independence, confidence and choice.

We have 2 available positions, a full-time role working 35 hours per week and the other part-time, working 25 hours per week.

4. You will be responsible for being the first responder, with remote manager

   care providers and provide accurate notes for future reference.
6. Accompany and support members to access social, leisure, educational and
   vocational activities in the community.

About this Internship

The Youth Voice Development Officer is a 12-month internship starting in March 2026. Summary Of The Role

Croydon Health & Wellbeing Space (CHWS) is an exciting and dynamic service, run in partnership with Mind in Croydon and Croydon BME Forum and commissioned by South London and Maudsley Mental Health Service (SLaM). The CHWS opened in 2022 with the aim of providing advice, information, and specialist support to Croydon residents with mental health concerns, who drop-in, or have been referred to the via the local Integrated Care Network Plus multi-disciplinary clinical and community mental health support teams.

The Advice Worker will be part of a friendly team, including crisis workers and clinical mental health professionals and function as the first point of access for visitors to the CHWS. Job Summary

The Senior Quinquennial Building Surveyor will deliver the Diocese’s statutory quinquennial (“QQ”) obligations across a large and varied residential housing portfolio. Grosvenor Chapel is a Chapel of Ease in the Ecclesiastical Parish of St George’s Hanover Square.

Located on South Audley Street in the heart of what is fondly referred to as the ‘Village of Mayfair’, the Chapel has been serving the community of Mayfair and beyond for almost three hundred years.

Over the last three years the Chapel has been going through a period of transition, renewal and growth. We currently have a modest annual income, which comes from regular giving, occasional donations, and the hiring out of our Chapel rooms and car bays, and are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to help with the day-to-day management of the Chapel’s finances.

Whilst some tasks are covered by existing staff, the Finance Officer will have responsibility for overseeing the Chapel’s accounting processes, monitoring income and expenditure, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, overseeing service cash collections and banking, completing the monthly reconciliations and preparation of financial reports, helping with any VAT and quarterly gift aid returns. The role will also be required to support the annual budgeting process, year-end audit and preparation of statutory accounts.

The Head of Delivery leads Home-Start Camden & Islington’s family support services, delivering high-quality, responsive support that puts children and families at the heart of everything we do.

The role brings together strategic leadership, operational management and frontline oversight, ensuring services are safe, effective and responsive to the diverse needs of local families. The Head of Delivery will lead and support a team of staff and volunteers, foster a culture of learning and reflective practice, and build strong partnerships with local organisations, health professionals and statutory agencies to improve outcomes for families.

With extensive experience of working in and leading services for children and families, the postholder will ensure robust safeguarding, quality assurance and impact monitoring across services, using evidence and feedback to drive continuous improvement. They will play a key role in shaping the future of Home-Start’s services in Camden & Islington, championing the organisation’s values and its commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion in everything we do.

Key Responsibilities 

Leadership and Management 

• Lead, motivate, and support a diverse team of staff and volunteers, fostering a culture of learning, reflective practice, and high-quality service delivery. 

• Line manage Family Liaison Managers and the Community Project Manager, providing supervision, performance management, professional development, and wellbeing support. 

• Oversee volunteer recruitment and management processes, ensuring they are effective and aligned with organisational standards. 

• Act as deputy to the CEO, providing leadership and oversight in their absence and supporting strategic decision-making. 

Service Delivery Oversight 

• Ensure the delivery of family support services meets organisational standards, safeguarding requirements, and the needs of local families. 

• Monitor operational processes, including referrals, caseload management, and community project delivery, ensuring staff and systems operate effectively and efficiently. 

• Oversee projects and community events, ensuring they are delivered successfully and aligned with organisational priorities. 

Safeguarding, Quality, and Impact 

• Maintain robust safeguarding policies and procedures across all services, ensuring staff are trained and supported in safeguarding responsibilities. 

• Implement and oversee quality assurance and impact monitoring systems, using data, feedback, and evaluation to inform decision making and continuous improvement. 

• Ensure compliance with statutory and organisational standards, including legislation relating to children, families, and volunteer management. 

Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement 

• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with local services, health professionals, statutory agencies, and voluntary sector organisations to strengthen outcomes for families. 

• Represent Home-Start Camden & Islington externally at meetings, networks, and partnership forums. 

• Advocate for the needs of families in Camden & Islington and contribute to service development informed by local community needs. 

Strategic Contribution 

• Contribute to organisational strategy, planning, and policy development, ensuring operational delivery aligns with Home-Start Camden & Islington’s goals.

About this role

The Philanthropy Manager will own an assigned portfolio of prospects and donors at five to six figure level and act as the day-to-day relationship manager within that portfolio.

The role plans and delivers cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activity to agreed KPIs, makes timely operational decisions within scope, and escalates risks/opportunities early.

The post holder contributes evidence and insight into team planning, supports senior colleagues on major/strategic accounts, and collaborates across teams to ensure high quality, inclusive delivery.

​Key responsibilities

• Own and manage an assigned portfolio of prospects and donors at the five to six figure level, delivering agreed income and engagement targets.
• Build and maintain professional, long-term relationships within the portfolio, escalating strategic issues or risks promptly.
• Act as the day-to-day relationship manager for donors in your portfolio, adapting style to audience and context and ensuring clear, timely communications; seek support for major strategic relationships.
• Maintain structured cultivation plans with milestones, update stakeholders proactively, and adjust plans based on learning.
• Develop clear, evidence-led proposals and reports using agreed templates, definitions and KPIs; quality check data before submission.
• Support senior colleagues on major prospects with briefings, meeting notes, and follow ups.
• Supporting Senior Philanthropy Managers, Development Directors and the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships on key accounts (typically £500k–£1m+), preparing high quality materials and inputs and maintaining accurate records of progress through the fundraising cycle in Salesforce.
• Contribute insights to identify and prioritise new grant opportunities and themes; share relevant sector updates with the team.
• Co-develop stewardship plans tailored to donor priorities in collaboration with Engagement, Pro Bono and Events teams.
• Maintain accurate, complete records in Salesforce; apply definitions consistently and quality check data before reporting.
• Maintain Salesforce and contribute inputs for SMT/committee reporting via the Senior Philanthropy Manager; propose lightweight improvements to existing processes.
• Keep professional knowledge current; share useful updates/resources and ensure compliance with relevant standards and legislation.
• Support delivery of major fundraising, cultivation and stewardship events, and ad-hoc Philanthropy Team activities.
• Demonstrate professionalism and best practice in all duties, complying with organisational policies and procedures, and proactively supporting the wider team.
• Model inclusive, professional behaviours; design inclusive meetings/interactions, act as an ally and challenge bias constructively while supporting the wider team.

​Essential​

• Demonstrable experience generating gifts at five to six figures from UK trusts, corporate partnerships and/or foundations.
• Ability to work through the fundraising cycle with donors to initiate, renew and grow gifts.
• Experience developing partnerships and managing an allocated portfolio of donor relationships.
• Excellent research and prospecting skills.
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, and substantive experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
• Strong planning and organisation skills – build structured plans with milestones/dependencies and track portfolio income/expenditure, highlighting variances early.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong bid-writing and storytelling ability.
• Ability to grasp and convey complex ideas, including Impetus’ model and the private equity industry.
• Able to engage confidently and professionally with senior stakeholders, adapting style and seeking support where appropriate.
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, manage multiple projects and maintain excellent attention to detail.
