In September 2025 we launched an ambitious five-year strategy ‘From Neighborhood to National’ to confront the deep-rooted inequities facing children and young people. This is an exciting moment of organisational growth at The Fair Education Alliance. This role is central to that investment. You will be joining a small, highly capable operations team and playing a pivotal role in how FEA runs day-to-day as it grows. You will work closely with relevant members of the senior leadership team and colleagues across the organisation, and your contribution will be felt across everything we do.
The Operations Officer plays a central role in ensuring that the Fair Education Alliance runs smoothly, efficiently and to a high standard across all aspects of its work. Working as part of the operations team, the postholder helps maintain the systems, processes and practical foundations that enable the organisation to function effectively.
This includes supporting people operations and HR administration, coordinating governance processes, managing organisational systems and IT access, and delivering high-quality logistics for events and organisational activities.
Acting as a trusted point of support for colleagues, the Operations Officer helps create a responsive and well-organised working environment where staff, trustees and members feel enabled to do their best work. The role requires exceptional organisation, sound judgement and a genuine pride in quality.
By ensuring that the practical aspects of the organisation run reliably and well, the Operations Officer helps create the conditions that allow the Fair Education Alliance to deliver its mission and drive progress towards a fairer education system.

About the Role
We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who will promote and increase engagement with the Humberside ABC Service. The Humberside ABC service provides services to anyone affected by crime and as an Engagement Officer you will work alongside our team to enhance the offer we provide by promoting the service and working with our partners including the police.
As an Engagement Officer you will be responsible for:
- Promoting the work of the service through events and presentations
- Providing training and awareness sessions to partner agencies including Humberside Police
- Maintaining and developing our online presence including updating website information and controlling our social media accounts
- Income generation and identifying fundraising opportunities
We are looking for someone with strong communication skills who is motivated, engaging and innovative. As an Engagement Officer, you will play an integral part in developing and embedding our Criminal Justice Champion (CJC) and Victim Friendly Organisation (VFO) programs across Humberside to ensure that victims have a voice within the criminal justice system and organisations are promoting victim's rights and voices.
You will attend events, network with other agencies and develop and deliver presentations to both internal and external colleagues, community groups and other identified audiences. This means that although the role is home-based, regular travel is required within Humberside and occasionally across the wider region.

About the role
This is a pivotal role within our newly established Prospect Development and Insight function, giving you the opportunity to shape how we identify, research, and prioritise the high‑value prospects who can make transformational gifts to Macmillan.
You will be responsible for feeding high‑quality insight directly to fundraisers, supporting them to grow pipelines, prioritise approaches, and unlock opportunities across corporate partnerships, philanthropy, and trusts. You’ll use a wide range of research techniques and tools to identify prospects, evaluate their potential, support risk management through due diligence, and provide concise, high‑impact briefings for fundraisers and senior leaders.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify high‑value prospects using press scanning, wealth screening, network mapping, and research tools.
- Produce clear and concise prospect profiles, briefings and event research for fundraisers and senior stakeholders.
- Conduct due diligence on prospects and donors, assessing risks and escalating where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with fundraisers to support pipeline development, prioritisation and movement of prospects.

The successful candidate will bring:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Training and Development

- Support the Head of Practice and Safeguarding, and the Learning and Development Lead, in maintaining high quality standards and compliance with accreditation frameworks.
- Contribute to achieving and maintaining accredited quality awards through ongoing monitoring, review, and implementation of quality action plans.
- Work with the Operations Team to collect and analyse customer feedback and reviews, using insights to support continuous improvement, funding applications, and marketing initiatives.

4. Partnership and Community Engagement

- Actively contribute to raising the profile of TLC through collaboration, partnership working, and effective promotion of training opportunities.
General
Partake in evening and weekend work as required. We are looking for someone who will be resilient, confident & able to engage others, happy to work as part of a team, and willing to constantly learn and adapt to new legislation. Legacy giving is a critical part of our long-term sustainability, and this role is central to embedding a culture of legacies across the organisation. We’re at the early stages of our legacy programme, so this role presents a real opportunity for someone to grow and develop a successful income stream, as well as ensuring our supporters have meaningful opportunities to make a lasting impact.
About the role
The Senior Legacy Manager will lead the development and delivery of London’s Air Ambulance Charity’s legacy programme, ensuring legacy giving is embedded across fundraising and marketing activity and is front of mind across the organisation.
This role is responsible for managing our legacy marketing programme, working closely with the marketing team to deliver compelling, sensitive and effective activity. The postholder will also oversee our outsourced legacy administration partner, ensuring legacy gifts are processed efficiently, compliantly and in line with best practice, through regular performance monitoring and review.
Working across the Fundraising and Marketing Directorate, the Senior Legacy Manager will champion legacies as a vital form of support, collaborating closely with all teams in the directorate. This will include working with the major donor team to identify and develop high-value legacy opportunities and supporting the community engagement team to integrate in-memory and legacy messaging into the community talks programme and engagement activity within the community.
The role also plays a key part in connecting our legacy and in-memory programmes, working with the community engagement team and the Deputy Director to develop a joined up in-memory strategy that ensures a coherent and compassionate supporter experience.
About the person
You’ll be an experienced and confident legacy fundraising professional with a passion for building long-term impact. You’ll be a strong collaborator who can influence across teams and seniority levels, and a persuasive advocate for the importance of legacy giving. You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands on delivery, ensuring legacy activity is well planned, insight led and supporter centred. Comfortable working across disciplines and a self-starter, you’ll play a key role in embedding a culture of legacies across London’s Air Ambulance Charity.

The role
The Funding Operations Officer will support the full lifecycle of grants, helping to ensure funding processes run smoothly and efficiently across a diverse portfolio. Working within the Funding Operations team, you will coordinate funding processes, manage information and data, and contribute to improving systems and workflows.
This is an exciting time to join the organisation as we conclude our 2022–2027 strategy and begin shaping our next five-year plan, continuing our £150 million commitment to improving health in East London.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the administration and coordination of the full grant lifecycle, from application and peer review through to monitoring and closure
- Managing information relating to funding schemes, policies and application processes for internal and external stakeholders
- Maintaining and auditing data within the grant management system, ensuring information is accurate and complete
- Preparing data and reports for internal and external audiences
- Supporting the administration of the Charity’s Special Purpose Funds in collaboration with the Finance team
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of funding processes across the organisation
About you
You will be highly organised, analytical and comfortable managing complex information and processes. You will already have experience in grants administration, funding operations or project coordination, or be a strong administrator looking to develop experience in the funding sector.
An understanding of research funding, higher education or NHS R&D environments would be beneficial but is not essential.

2wish has been established since 2012 and has since grown from strength to strength. During this time, we have worked tirelessly to embed our service and ensure that the offer of support is made at the point of death.
We offer an immediate, consistent, high-quality and compassionate service to all individuals affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under. We work in partnership with professionals who refer into the charity on behalf of families, so they don’t have to trawl through the internet for an organisation who may, or may not, be able to support. We provide immediate, and ongoing, support and are here for as long as our families need us.
We were founded as a Welsh organisation providing immediate casework support, as well as ongoing aftercare services including counselling, alternative therapies, play therapy, support groups, support events and a respite cottage.
In January 2024, we expanded into ‘phase one’ England, namely Cheshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Somerset. And in July 2025 we expanded into ‘phase two’ England, namely Merseyside, Devon and Cornwall, Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Context of role:
The Business Services Officer provides high quality administrative and operational support across governance, IT, facilities, data protection, recruitment and general administration.
Working closely with the Head of Finance & Business Services, this role ensures the charity has strong internal systems, efficient processes, and compliant practices that enable staff to deliver services effectively and compassionately.
This role will support the whole organisation in both the office setting and our remote workers across England and Wales.
Key responsibilities:
Business Services and Operations
- Support the Head of Finance & Business Services in the effective running of business functions including HR, IT, governance, and office management.
- Maintain essential organisational policies, procedures, and documentation, ensuring regular review cycles.
- Manage contracts with suppliers, service providers, and facilities contractors.
Staff support
- Assist department heads with recruitment processes including job adverts, application management, interview coordination, and onboarding.

- Coordinate staff training, mandatory learning, and policy briefings.
Governance and Compliance

- Support risk management processes, including maintaining organisational risk registers.
- Assist with GDPR compliance, data audits, and data protection processes.
- Prepare policies for Board approval with the assistance of Peninsula.
Leadership and People Management
- Act as first point of contact for basic IT and systems issues, escalating when necessary.
- Support the effective use of Microsoft 365, CRM/databases, and operational software including educating others on effective usage.
- Project manage the development of NOVA – our CRM system.
- Liaise with IT providers to ensure smooth delivery of technical support, security, and digital improvements.
- Issue IT equipment required for work to all new employees and maintain asset register.
- Ensuring Cyber Security essentials is complete working with IT consultant ITCS.
Facilities and Office Management
- Oversee day-to-day management of office space, equipment, and environment. Monitoring potential growth of office spaces into England.
- Manage health & safety processes including risk assessments, incident logs, and mandatory checks.
- Monitor office supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement.
Administration and Organisational Support
- Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team where required.
- Maintain central records, filing systems, and registers to a high standard both electronically and paper based.
General:
- To be responsible for organising own work agenda, time management and administration.
- To adhere to all company policies and procedures including Safeguarding, Confidentiality, Health and Safety and Lone Working; and to be proactive in implementing new safe working practices as appropriate.
- To attend weekend and evening community events in support of the charity as necessary.
- Participate as and when required in team meetings and one-to-one meetings, and undertake, as appropriate, courses/training/other developmental activities, which is relevant to the role.
