Occasional evening, weekend, and overnight work will be required as part of the role, including attending client visits, taster sessions, and visits to our Outward Bound Centres.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Excellent communications skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external professionals.  A strong understanding of the apprenticeship and graduate development programmes, and talent pipelines. 

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects and maintain consistent follow-up.

• Confident in presenting to clients, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences (HR, L&D, operational teams, senior leadership). 

• Good negotiation and influencing skills. 

• Experienced in LinkedIn / LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospecting and building connections within early careers networks. 

• Proficient in Microsoft systems and CRM tools. 

• Knowledge of or interest in experiential learning, leadership development, and outdoor education is an advantage. 

 AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Secure mainly new and some key repeat business to meet personal, and team, quarterly and annual targets. 
• Lead on developing new partnerships within key industry sectors for Apprentice, Graduate, and Emerging Leader programmes. 
• Undertake client learning needs analysis to understand early career development goals and challenges. 
• Produce compelling proposals that align Outward Bound programmes with organisational objectives. 
• Represent Outward Bound at early careers events, conferences, and employer network sessions. 
• Maintain accurate client records via our CRM system and ensure timely follow-up and reporting. 
• Liaise with internal delivery and marketing teams to ensure client needs are met and opportunities are maximised. 
• Drive new business through research, networking, referrals, and sector insights. 
• Contribute ideas to help shape Outward Bound’s early careers strategy and offer to stay relevant in a fast-changing employment landscape.

Salary: £32,000 – £40,000, salary depending on experience

Homeless Link is the national membership charity for frontline homelessness agencies and the wider housing with health, care and support sector in England. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Training, Conferences and Events Assistant to join our Education and Training Division. Key details

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week): usual working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00. Flexibility to support training, conferences and events outside of these hours required

Salary: £25,480 FTE per annum, plus 6% contributory pension scheme

Role Summary

Julie’s Bicycle (JB) is seeking an experienced, highly organised professional to take on a pivotal role leading the coordination and delivery of two of Julie’s Bicycle's flagship international training programmes. The Role

We're seeking an experienced, highly organised professional to take on a pivotal role leading the coordination and delivery of two of Julie’s Bicycle's flagship international training programmes: ITER and Creative Climate Changemakers (CCC) (formerly Creative Climate Leadership - CCL).This blended role is critical for ensuring the smooth operation and high-quality delivery of both programmes. It demands a blend of exceptional project management expertise and a passion for supporting and facilitating transformative climate action within the cultural sector.

You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from strategic co-design of the ITER curriculum as well as facilitating the ITER training. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of logistics, partnerships, and finance across both programmes (ITER and CCC). This includes leading the coordination for a week-long residential CCC programme in Switzerland in March 2026 (attendance and facilitation for the CCC residential won’t be required) and managing the ongoing delivery of the ITER programme. Your ability to maintain clear communication with international partners like Ver Le Futur and In futurum, as well as with funders and programme participants, will be key to success. If you thrive on both high-level strategy and detailed operational delivery, this is a unique opportunity to directly support and scale the next generation of creative climate leaders.

Programme overviews

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering two of our core training programmes:

• Creative Climate Changemakers (CCC) (formerly Creative Climate Leadership) has been running in different formats since  2017. CCC is an international training, support and transformation programme which empowers artists, artivists and cultural change-makers to take action on the climate and ecological crisis with impact, creativity, and resilience.
  CCC strengthens the extraordinary climate leadership already energising the creative and cultural ecosystem everywhere. Through deep immersion in the themes, creativity as a practice and the community as a whole, CCC champions a systems approach orientated towards justice and inclusion. Creative Climate Change-makers represent an exceptional international cohort; many projects, companies and careers are flourishing as a result of the programme, with national cultural policies responding to this new field of practice led by over 200 CCL alumni from all five continents. 

• International Touring and Environmental Responsibility (ITER) Programme: Now entering into its fifth year the ITER programme is a partnership between Arts Council England, Arts and Culture Norway and the Danish Arts Foundation, and aims to foster new international collaborations and connections between the participating countries. ITER consists of two training programmes running in parallel; a course for beginners and a course for Changemakers, followed by an opportunity for participants to collaborate and apply for project funding. The programme is directed at touring professionals in the creative sector, focusing on sustainability. To date, 137 organisations and individual artists have taken part in the programme. Many are now leading the way by re-imagining conventional models of touring, putting environmental and social sustainability at the heart of what they do, and bringing important new learning to the sector. 

Key Responsibilities

Project management and administration

• Manage the day-to-day project management and administration for both the CCC and ITER programmes.

• Ensure smooth coordination and clear partnership roles (R&Rs) are maintained with key partners for each programme, including Ver Le Futur (Switzerland) for CCC and In futurum for ITER, along with other partners and funders.

• Coordinate, manage, and contribute to internal JB meetings for both programmes, including coordinating internal programmatic development/awayday sessions.

• Manage the budget for ITER and ensure timely payments to partners and guest speakers. Take an overview of the delivery of the Pro Helvetia Grant for CCC.

• Ensure all documentation, including evaluation, impact and funder reports, and statistics, are complete and distributed for CCC, and manage the evaluation for ITER.

• Coordinate logistics for both programmes: scheduling meetings, task management, folder management, and ensuring information flows between the team and stakeholders.

Programme delivery & design

• CCC residential planning: Manage JB responsibilities for planning, project management, and logistics for one full residential CCC programme in Switzerland in March 2026. 

• ITER and CCC Programme delivery: Lead the day-to-day delivery of the ITER and CCC programmes across both beginner and advanced levels, ensuring connectivity across sessions, networking, and live events.

• Co-design and co-deliver the ITER seminar sessions curriculum with the Head of Programmes, associate facilitators, JB programme leads, and in futurum.

• Take responsibility for the strategic overview of the ITER curriculum, learning objectives, and proactively respond to the needs/interests of the cohorts.

• Manage all aspects of the online sessions for ITER, with support from the digital team.

• Organise and brief guest speakers for ITER.

• Co-ordinate JB experts and/or deliver mentoring to winning ITER and CCC projects to support successful delivery of participant's project concepts.

• Manage communications with ITER participants and CCC alumni network on occasions.

• Co-design and manage the ITER/CCC networks.

• Take part in the participant and project selection process for ITER/CCC.

Communications, Strategy & Development

• Liaise with the Comms and Marketing teams for JB, Ver le Futur, and other CCC partners.

• Manage the Communications Campaign for ITER in partnership alongside with the JB marcomms team, including promoting the programme, capturing insights, case studies, and assets.

• Support the JB team on developing the brand, strategy, partnership model, and resourcing for ITER/CCC going forward.

• Manage enquiries for and scope new CCCs, as time permits.

• Represent JB across the ITER/CCC programmes alongside the Head of Programmes.

Person Specification

• Outstanding project management and delivery skills and experience, including planning and delivering in-person events, projects, or similar courses.

• Excellent training facilitation skills both for online and in-person training styles.

• Excellent communication skills (spoken and written) and the ability to connect with multiple stakeholders and funders.

• Excellent organisational skills: budget management, scheduling, and timekeeping.

• Ability to work with a wider programming group to support curation.

• Digital skills across a number of online platforms, including Google Drive (Docs, Sheets), Zoom Pro, and Miro/Mural.

• Ability to prioritise tasks and keep the project and team on track to meet multiple deadlines.

Sector & Thematic Experience

• A commitment to transformative change, inclusion, and justice, and an appreciation of culture as a driver for systems-change.

• Experience working in arts and culture, on climate justice, or on similar training, education, or transformation programmes in other sectors/communities is valued.

• General knowledge of sustainability across the cultural sector is strongly desirable, particularly expertise on sustainable touring.

Travel Requirements:

This role will require circa 6 weeks of UK travel per year to deliver our residential courses. Each course is up to one week in duration.

The role holder may be asked to travel internationally to deliver training programmes in support of our global team of affiliates and volunteers, unlikely to exceed 2 weeks in duration.

This role may also be infrequently required to deploy as part of a ShelterBox project delivery team, working alongside our programme partners. These deployments are unlikely to exceed 2 weeks in duration.

The role of Training Manager is a vital part of the Learning and Development team, leading on our core calendar of purpose-led, residential training programmes as well as managing the compliance and mandatory training needs of our people.

The individual should enjoy delivering training, developing annual plans to address the compliance needs of an organisation, managing complex logistics involved with residential training, and working alongside staff and volunteers.

Main role and responsibilities

As Training Manager, you will be responsible for the development, planning and delivery of ShelterBox's core training calendar. This encompasses our range of mandatory and compliance training courses, alongside our residential training programmes and any other programmes as decided in collaboration with the Head of Learning and Development. Through careful planning, budgeting and engagement with key stakeholders across the organisation, you will ensure the core calendar and associated training content is relevant to the evolving business needs and is able to be accessed by all who require it. You will ensure the stewardship and maintenance of our training resources, and relationship management of key contacts at our training venues and volunteers to enable long-term, sustainable delivery of our programmes. In addition, you will support the delivery of other L&D solutions as required by other organisational requirements.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Annual planning of our core training calendar in-line with the business planning and budgeting cycle
• Development and management of the budget to enable the delivery of the core training calendar in-line with the budgeting cycle and promoting the best value-for money
• Planning and delivery of the Travel Security Training programme in-line with the requirements of the Deployable Personnel Minimum Training Standards Policy
• Planning and delivery of the We Are ShelterBox programme in-line with the induction pathway and business need
• Working with the People Assistant, ensure the management of all course and participant logistics including travel, accommodation and expenses.
• Scheduling and delivery of all compliance and mandatory training programmes including, but not limited to: GDPR; Cyber Security; Anti-Money Laundering; Anti Bribery; Payment Card Industry; First Aid; Trauma Risk Management; Fire Marshall, Etc.
• Maintenance and resupply of all training resources required to deliver our core calendar programmes, including inventory management of our 40ft shipping container.
• Business partnering with key risk owners such as Head of Legal and Risk, IT Service and Security Manager, Facilities Manager, and Head of Security to ensure our compliance needs are being met with the course content we have available, amending as necessary.
• Track and report on the compliance of our people against our mandatory and compliance programmes, feeding into the People and Risk Committee papers.
• Manage all risk assessment and mitigations processes for our training programmes, ensuring they are up to date, relevant to the risks faced on our programmes and our compliance with them.
• Support the management of the Qualsafe-registered "ShelterBox Training Centre" that enables the delivery of in-house first aid qualifications.
• Deliver Qualsafe-regulated, in-house first aid training as well as developing and delivering austere first aid training packages relevant to our work in high-risk environments.
• Develop and manage relationships with external service providers and volunteers to enable the sustainable delivery of our residential training programmes.
• Work with the learning management system to ensure all learning initiatives are tracked and monitored for completion.
• Support the delivery of capacity sharing initiatives with our programme partners in high-risk locations as required by the Programme Delivery team.
• Support the delivery of corporate and donor engagement events as required by the Philanthropy and Partnerships team

The Jobs, Education and Training (JET) team works with young people facing homelessness to support them into meaningful and appropriate employment, training opportunities, apprenticeships, volunteering, and education. As part of our delivery, we have developed a weekly ESOL group for young people looking to improve their spoken English, many of whom are young refugees and asylum seekers. Your role would involve the planning, preparation and delivery of these non-formal education sessions as well as delivering wider 1:1 JET casework. While you will work with all young people in the service, this role will focus on developing our JET delivery for young refugees, asylum seekers and those with English as a second language. You will also spend approximately 1 day per week helping us to deliver our core day-centre service.

To lead and deliver Richmond CVS’s support services for voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations across the borough. This includes providing high-quality advice, training, and development support, alongside managing key projects and coordinating external consultants.

The role is central to strengthening the VCSE sector, with a focus on organisational development, fundraising, and governance. It also involves working closely with statutory partners including Richmond Council and the South West London Integrated Care Board (ICB), ensuring that VCSE organisations are well-positioned to engage with and influence local systems.

What you'll do:

• Oversee all induction and mandatory training, ensuring it meets organisational requirements

The BACCH Education and Training Administrator is a newly created role supporting the British Association for Community Child Health (BACCH), a specialty group of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. This role will take the lead on setting up and delivering educational courses and events for clinicians working in Community Child Health, including webinars, regional events, and the BACCH Annual Scientific Meeting.

Reporting to the BACCH Executive Officer, you will coordinate the development of a structured education and training offer, manage logistics for online and in-person courses, and support initiatives such as trainee-led learning and paid short courses. You will also support BACCH’s six affiliated specialist groups with administrative and event coordination as needed.

The role requires a highly organised and self-motivated individual with experience in event planning, digital platforms, and administrative systems. You’ll also maintain contact databases, filing systems, and internal procedures, while providing occasional cover for the wider team.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting educational events or working in professional membership organisations, along with strong communication, planning and IT skills. A background in healthcare, training, or children’s services and knowledge of website or budget management is desirable
