The Role
Inscape house school is recruiting for a tutor to to deliver Animal Assisted Intervention (AAI) and teach animal care, welfare, and related work experience skills to students within our secondary provision. The Animal Assisted Intervention Tutor will design and deliver accessible, meaningful and aspirational animal-care and AAI-based learning opportunities, including accredited qualifications such as BTEC and/or ASDAN in Animal Care (or similar).

Our mission is to close the reading gap by providing children with one-to-one support at the time they need it most. We work in thirteen areas/regions of the UK and will support over 4,000 children in 2026-27.
Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme pairs struggling five to seven-year old (Y1-3) readers with reading support volunteers who are working professionals. The volunteer ask is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.
From a school perspective, online reading volunteers provide direct, meaningful literacy support for up to 10 pupils per class. About the Role
Chapter One is seeking a Bradford Programme Manager who is an excellent communicator and is able both to motivate and support schools and teachers to implement our online reading volunteers programme, and also to ensure that the programme’s impact and benefit to disadvantaged communities is maximised throughout the academic year.
The post is ideal for someone looking for part-time, flexible, term-time only work from a home base and who is able to travel frequently in and around West Yorkshire. The postholder will be joining a team of established Programme Managers who work in different parts of the UK and will need to have some flexibility to work some additional hours during busy autumn weeks, and conversely to work fewer hours during quieter periods of the year.
There are plans for future expansion in Bradford so the role may grow, in time.
Key Responsibilities:
Effectively explain Chapter One’s online reading volunteer programme and its benefits to school leaders and teachers.
Install, setup and maintain Chapter One equipment in participating classrooms.
Organise and conduct initial teacher training and follow-up.
Ensure a smooth initial launch of Chapter One’s programme in every classroom.
Fully understand the operation of the Chapter One platform and database and effectively communicate this to others as needed.
Liaise with colleagues performing technical and volunteer support roles.
Through regular visits to/contact with schools, provide on-going embedded professional learning and support to teachers throughout the year as needed.

About the Youth Endowment Fund
All of us will experience violence at some point in our lives. For many children, it is a daily reality. Each year, tens of children are killed, hundreds are hospitalised, 1 in 5 teenage children are victims and the majority admit to feeling afraid of violence. It scares them when they travel home from school, prevents them from going out and makes the most vulnerable feel like they don’t matter. It is taking lives, traumatising families and dividing communities. It robs potential, progress and hope.
But it doesn’t have to be this way.
The Youth Endowment Fund believes that no child should be affected by violence. We research violence to understand it; we find, fund and test what works to prevent it; and we are building a movement to end it.
A big part of the movement that we need to build is in the world of children’s services. We need to inspire and connect with senior leaders in England and Wales to spread what works and make our country safer for some of our most vulnerable children. We need someone who can deliver this whilst understanding and working within the context of the major sector reforms that are currently being delivered via the Families First Partnership programme.
Key Responsibilities
We are at an exciting moment in our work. In June we will publish our children’s services practice guidance, setting out the evidence for what works to reduce serious youth violence in the children’s services sector.
We have plans to work with the sector over the rest of the financial year and beyond, including designing a self-assessment tool to help senior sector leaders benchmark their existing practice against the evidence. We will also launch a new change programme, working hand-in-hand with the sector to implement the evidence for what works, gaining valuable insights in the process.
Your role is to help us turn these plans into a reality.
This will include launching the self-assessment tool and promoting its use within the sector. It will also involve planning, designing and delivering the change programme to turn the theory into reality.
You will also contribute by designing and delivering a range of sector engagement activities, such as webinars, events and learning opportunities, that reach the sector, helping to build momentum, understanding and commitment across children’s services.
Lastly, you will support the Head of Change for Children’s Services with government engagement as required and support the establishment of a new network for senior sector leaders to share the latest evidence and best practice.
Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the launch and roll-out of the children’s services self-assessment tool, driving up demand and ensuring widespread completion of the tool across the sector;
Work hands-on with Local Authorities to help them put evidence into practice via our change programme; planning, delivering and learning as the work continues;
Continuously capture and act on learning from the self-assessment tool and deep dive change programme to inform future work;
Supporting the design and roll-out of a children’s services network to spread learning of what works to reduce serious youth violence;
Spend time genuinely understanding the pressures, priorities and constraints facing children’s services leaders to inform our longer-term approach to change.

Hope and Healing is a five-year project funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. Through the project, we’re exploring new ways of putting community and relationships at the heart of mental health support.
The Communities and Development Manager – Wales will play a key role in our communities-based and system-changing work in Wales. You’ll also provide project management across this work, overseeing delivery and ensuring strong compliance and safe working.
You’ll support colleagues to deliver our Communities of Hope work, using this as a starting point for developing and delivering our work with systems. You’ll be skilled at developing relationships with stakeholders at different levels of the system, including being able to offer challenge and work alongside people to create change.
You’ll lead our local and regional Hope Academy work in Wales, drawing on support and expertise from colleagues in Platfform. You’ll bring an understanding of how to work with people in services and systems, bringing a relational and trauma-informed approach. You’ll have experience in providing support to professionals that can be applied to Hope Academy e.g. designing and delivering training, communities of practice or reflective practice. You’ll be skilled in drawing on research and evidence to shape work, and in putting theory into practice.
You’ll bring knowledge and experience of a range of campaigning and approaches that can create change at different levels of the system, from communities to policy levels, and support the Hope and Healing partnership to use learning and relationships from the project to campaign for and create change.
You’ll be committed to the values of Hope and Healing, including sharing power and listening to different voices, and you’ll be as comfortable sitting in community spaces, working alongside local people, as you are talking to system influencers.
You’ll ensure we have effective and impactful communication across the project, working closely with our expert Communications Marketing team, and our Communications and Engagement Partner.
You’ll have an understanding of how to make change in complex systems, and of the challenges this can bring. You’ll be able to identify the relationships that we need to make change and be skilful at building networks and relationships, including with decision makers.
We are recruiting an Education Programme Manager who will support the development and delivery of education materials and teacher training content at The Politics Project.
About The Politics Project
The Politics Project supports young people to use their voice by giving them access to brilliant democratic education. They work with young people, teachers, youth practitioners and politicians to help them learn about, teach and actively participate in democracy. The Politics Project works across the UK with over 3,000 schools and youth groups and 400 politicians, reaching 95% of UK parliamentary constituencies.
The Politics Project also leads the Democracy Classroom Network, a network of over 100 organisations across the democracy, education and youth sectors which support over 3,500 teachers and youth practitioners to engage young people in democracy.The Network's website is a one-stop shop resources bank of educational materials on politics and democracy.
About the role
Working with the Head of Education and Content, the Programme Manager will support teachers and practitioners to engage their students in elections and democratic education, helping schools and colleges get ready for the lowering of the voting age to 16.
The post holder will support the design and adaptation of resources, practitioner training, events and activities as well as manage relationships with the schools and colleges.
This is a fast-paced role in a friendly, supportive and growing team. The role has a six-month probation period. The hours of work are 37.5 hrs per week.
The Politics Project is based in London, and the post holder will be expected to work from the office at least one day a month. The role may require occasional UK travel and some evening/weekend work, for which time off in lieu will be given.
Key responsibilities
Working with the Director and the Head of Education and Content, the post holder will:
Support the collation, sourcing and design of learning resources for school and college teachers to use to support their students to engage in elections and democracy.
Be responsible for relationships with several schools and colleges, building and deepening those relationships.
Deliver training for teachers and practitioners around elections and democratic education.
Coordinate and administer workshops, webinars, conferences, and online learning opportunities for educators.
Oversee evaluation and monitoring, producing reports where required.

To coordinate and deliver targeted intervention within CACT’s Risk and Violence strand, with a focus on the Premier League Inspires programme and mentoring provision in Greenwich and Bexley.
