Build Up is a youth-led charity that designs and builds public spaces, supporting young people aged 10-25 years old to shape their local area. We’re looking for a Head of Income Generation to drive our fundraising strategy and secure significant investment for our youth-led projects.

Bounce Back for Kids (BB4K) is a lifeline for children healing from the trauma of domestic abuse. From April next year, we’re expanding our service and looking for new Triage and Assessment Worker to join our team – helping guide children and families on their healing journey.

Position: Bounce Back for Kids (BB4K) Triage and Assessment Worker

About the role:

As Triage and Assessment Worker you will play a significant role in supporting children and families affected by domestic abuse, some of your key responsibilities will include:

· being the first point of contact for families referred to our service

· presenting cases at internal triage meetings, providing clear recommendations for support pathways.

About you:

As a successful Triage and Assessment Worker, you will have experience of working directly with vulnerable families, ideally within a domestic abuse, safeguarding, or trauma-informed context. Job Title: Head of Major Giving - Trusts & Foundations and Individual Donors

Reporting to: Director of Fundraising and Development

JOB PURPOSE    

This is a unique opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role during an exciting period of transformation at Magic Breakfast. As Head of Major Giving (Maternity Cover), you will shape and deliver our strategy for high-value income generation across philanthropy  and trusts and foundations, while embedding a newly merged team and fostering a culture of one unified, high-performing team within Major Giving and more widely as part of Fundraising and Development.  

You will lead a team of five people, line managing and working closely with two Major Giving Leads, empowering them and co-creating a Major Giving strategy that fully seizes the opportunities presented by our refreshed organisational strategy. You will also oversee a well-established Trusts and Foundations portfolio and a group of highly engaged individual donors, maintaining and growing these important relationships whilst helping to provide strategic and targeted support across pipeline development.

You will have a dotted-line relationship with the Business Development Manager (Scotland), enabling you to ensure joined-up major giving approaches across the UK and unlock exciting opportunities in Scotland. 

We are looking for a natural relationship-builder with a proven track record of securing six- and seven-figure gifts, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to inspire donors, colleagues, and external stakeholders alike. As part of the Fundraising Leadership team, you will deputise for the Director of Fundraising and Development when needed and collaborate across the organisation to implement, monitor, and adapt our fundraising strategy, maximising the impact of major giving.

Key Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Virtual Fundraising Senior Officer with event management skills to join our brilliant Mass Participation team.

Our ambitious virtual fundraising team recruits over 11,500 virtual fundraisers every year and this role will play a key role in delivering an unforgettable experience to these supporters. The Blagrave Trust is looking to appoint a Head of Finance, who will play a critical leadership role in helping us reimagine how resources can be stewarded in creative and values led ways that advance social justice for young people. Key Responsibilities

As the Trust’s senior finance professional and a key member of the leadership team, you will set and deliver the financial strategy, ensure robust controls and compliance, and translate financial insight into mission driven decisions.

• You will have oversight of both the investment and property portfolios and be tasked with ensuring all our assets are unified towards delivering the most impact for young people and future generations.
• You will take our learning and understanding externally, to values aligned finance forums, peer networks and into the conversation around shifting power to best serve missions.
• To support this endeavour, on the day-to-day you’ll lead planning, budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning and cash flow, oversee statutory accounts and audit (UK Charity SORP), and provide clear reporting to the Board and Finance & Investment Committee.

Person Specification

We’re looking for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with substantial senior level experience, ideally in a foundation, charity or mission driven organisation.

• You’ll bring a proven track record in strategic financial planning, risk management and governance, fluency in charity accounting and excellent communication skills to support and challenge non-financial colleagues.
• Experience of endowment management / investment oversight and long-term capital strategy is important,
• Alongside the curiosity and courage to push boundaries in responsible, regenerative and climate conscious finance.

JOB PURPOSE
The Director of Fundraising and Development (Maternity Cover) will provide strategic leadership and direction across all fundraising and income-generating activities, ensuring the charity continues to deliver against its financial objectives and accelerates long-term, sustainable growth across our philanthropic, public, and commercial income streams.
You will bring strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to equip, support, and empower the team through a period of organisational change. About the role

Galop is looking for an experienced LGBT practitioner to provide advocacy and support to LGBT survivors of sexual violence. This post will focus on work with children aged 11 and younger adults up to 30, as this is where there is a rapid growth in demand, but may cover older adults if required.

The post will include criminal justice and non-criminal justice related work. The post holder will demonstrate an ability to undertake advocacy, including risk assessment, safeguarding, support planning and interactions with other professionals. They will have experience of offering empathic listening and effective interventions which enable children, young people and survivors of all ages to feel more empowered, informed and resilient.

The post holder will be proactive about their own learning and will be an excellent listener and communicator, be able to work in a calm and trauma-informed manner and be effective in their interventions to support change in survivors’ lives.

You will manage the Volunteer Support Team and develop and maintain efficient volunteering systems used by our volunteers.
