We are looking for a Social Media and Online Fundraising Manager to join a small grassroots health charity to engage the beneficiaries and stakeholders through various online channels.

The Charity
A passionate and collaborative health charity dedicated to prioritising quality of life for those in need and their support networks. You would be joining an incredible organisation with a supportive culture offering flexible home working with quarterly meet ups in London. This is initially an 18 month contract with the potential to go permanent.

The Role
This is a brand new role to support the Chief Executive and Co-founder for a niche health cause with a strong patient support network.

You would create an online fundraising strategy and deliver a practical plan for a series of annual events, focusing on activities, personal challenges or social events.

You would create a communication strategy for social media and a practical annual plan that incorporates the different type of content that will engage new stakeholders and to share engaging content, relevant information, knowledge and research for the different audiences.

There is the opportunity to participate at in-person at events in the UK and abroad, recording live content on social media in an accurate, sensitive and engaging way.

The Candidate

Proven experience of funding raised from online engagement of communities through various events and activities.

They hold an ambition for a world where people with lupus can live full and active lives and work hard to empower people by providing information about lupus and offering support so their voices are heard and their condition diagnosed and managed effectively.

This is an exciting new role for the organisation which will focus on engaging with communities and recruiting and training volunteers to deliver peer support services for those living with lupus. As Community Services Coordinator you will work as part of a small, tight-knit team, and will facilitate co-production sessions with stakeholders across the lupus community, enabling beneficiaries to design and shape community-based services. The role will involve providing direct support to service users, producing regular reports, and supporting and managing volunteers to provide service resourcing. The organisation is particularly interested in developing their support offering across Northern Ireland and require someone who understands the health landscape and is confident to engage with a range of stakeholders to develop their offering.

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact across the lupus community. Women in Prison (WIP) supports women affected by the criminal justice system and campaigns to end the harm it causes.

This is a new role which has been created to provide the vision and direction for our programming and systems change work as we embed our 2025-2030 strategy. Our ambition is to offer women in prisons and the community, impactful direct support that is more independent of government demands and funding, and with a new and deeper partnership model.

Our strategy also challenges us to mobilise women, drive women-led influencing and campaigning and co-design programmes with women with experience of the justice system.  We know we must design and deliver programmatic work that incorporates systems change work so that we are not propping up a harmful existing system.  The problem in the criminal justice system is not the women themselves, but the structures and systems that oppress them. Women in Prison is taking bold steps to design and embed new programmes that build evidence that directly challenge those harmful systems.

In this role you will:

Co-design and deliver quality programmes delivering measurable and impactful outcomes for women

Drive stronger influence and visibility with policymakers, funders and partners

Ensure that evidence from programmes is driving successful campaigns and policy changes

Develop your team so they are empowered, motivated and focused on delivering on the strategy and values of Women in Prison

Taking the lead on

• Strategic oversight of frontline services and survivor-centred practice.
• Coaching-led leadership for managers and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Quality assurance, performance, safeguarding and operational risk.
• Innovation and service development informed by data, evidence and lived experience.
• External engagement with commissioners, statutory services and the wider sector.
• Development of a sustainable, forward-facing housing strategy.

About you
You are a confident, highly skilled operational leader with a deep commitment to women-centred, trauma-informed practice. You bring the credibility and conviction to represent an organisation rooted in women's lived experience, ensuring its values, language and decisions consistently reflect women-centred principles.

Strategic Projects Accountant | 6 - month FTC | 60,000 - 63,800 | London | Hybrid

For a charity in London, we're recruiting an interim Strategics Project Accountant to focus on delivering a portfolio of key finance projects over a 6-month period to strengthen financial management and support strategic decision-making. This role focuses on high-profile strategic finance projects to ensure strong financial governance, improved systems and processes, and robust financial analysis across fund accounting, investment appraisals, and the implementation of improved finance tools and methodologies.

Main Duties:

• Delivery of Strategic Finance Projects: lead and deliver a programme of high-priority finance projects, ensuring delivery and engagement to a range of stakeholders
• Strengthening Finance Systems and Processes: reviewing existing financial processes, controls and systems usage to identify gaps and inefficiencies
• Work with Finance team to embed best practice and ensure system integrity and support improvements across Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Financial Analysis, Modelling and Reporting: produce financial modelling, costings and analysis to support bids, business cases and strategic projects
• Prepare high-quality financial information for senior leadership and Board-level reporting
• Provide fund accounting expertise, ensuring correct reporting of restricted and unrestricted funds
• Partner with project leads and senior stakeholders to provide robust financial advice

Person Specification:

• Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Experience in restricted and unrestricted funds
• Ability to deliver finance projects and process-improvement projects
• Experience in financial systems audit, process review and strengthening financial controls
• Experience providing financial support for bids, business cases and projects
• Experience in charity, not for profit or public sector organisations
