Job Summary
A key focus of our strategy is to reach and engage with as many people as possible, affected by and at risk of bowel cancer, by embedding our information and support services within NHS diagnostic, treatment and care pathways. As Health Professional Education and Engagement Manager you will play a central role in helping us achieve this. With a focus on developing networks in primary care and developing existing relationships with CNS’s and secondary care health professionals, you will work across the UK to understand the needs of these stakeholders and identify ways in which we can support them. This is a newly created role, which will help take the charity's fundraising to the next level. The new Senior Development Manager will grow existing income (trusts, foundations and statutory) and develop newer income streams (individual giving and corporate partnerships). We are excited to be recruiting a Programme Manager to join The Scholars Programme team. This role will be central in ensuring high quality programme management and oversee effective stakeholder stewardship across multiple geographical areas.

Specific Responsibilities
• Deliver against a 6-figure fundraising target, taking responsibility for a cohort of prospects, with a focus on trusts, foundations, public sector and corporate partners.
• Write compelling proposals/applications and reports for trusts and foundations, to engage supporters and demonstrate the impact of our work.
• Collaborate with colleagues, in particular the Director and Programme Heads, to source programme information, schedule meetings/calls with prospects, writing excellent briefing notes in advance.
• Adhere to best practice in prospect cultivation, solicitation and stewardship, and ensure the due diligence policies in place are followed.

Prospectus is pleased to be supporting our client to recruit a new Senior Individual Giving Manager. The organisation is ranked among the world's top orchestras and is Resident Orchestra at the Barbican. This is a full-time, permanent role paying a salary of £45,000-£50,000. The postholder will be working in a hybrid model from their offices in London.
The Senior Individual Giving manager will lead a successful team to develop and implement the overall Individual Giving strategy. This will involve agreeing and monitoring annual individual giving income and expenditure budget and the postholder will deliver appealing stewardship programmes for supporters to include regular communications, personalised ticketing, and event opportunities. Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, you will oversee the successful delivery and growth of the Friends and young Patrons schemes and will plan a regular calendar of engagement and cultivation opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in major donor fundraising, including building Essential relationships with high-net-worth individuals and securing five and six-figure gifts. They are looking for someone with experience of managing a team and a busy portfolio of generous donors. You will ideally also have experience collaborating with senior volunteers, with the ability to attend regular events outside of normal working hours.

About the role
This Debt Advice Case Manager role combines both technical and pastoral elements. It will involve building a client case, untangling sometimes complex situations, liaising with creditors, providing guidance for volunteers, and discerning and communicating the appropriate choices and strategies for the client. You will also need to lead client appointments and support clients through what at times can be emotionally difficult situations. Ideally, we are looking for someone with prior debt advice experience, and who has experience of working with vulnerable clients and supporting volunteers. However, we will also consider employing someone as a trainee Debt Advice Case Manager if they are able to demonstrate that they possess the skills, maturity, and determination to become proficient in this role.
