About the role:
Every young person deserves more than a roof over their head. They deserve a place where they feel safe, seen and able to imagine a future for themselves.
We are looking for two Deputy Team Managers to join our Ofsted Registered Young Person’s Accommodation Services, with one opportunity in Camden and one in Greenwich. Working alongside the Service Manager, you will help turn our accommodation into places where young people aged 16 and over - including care leavers and young people facing multiple disadvantage - can build trust, discover their strengths and take meaningful steps towards adulthood and independence.
You will be a visible, energising presence in the service, giving staff the guidance, confidence and space they need to deliver exceptional support. From coaching colleagues and strengthening support and safety plans to responding to safeguarding concerns, missing episodes and periods of disengagement, you will help the team remain curious, persistent and ambitious for every young person. You will also make sure preparation for the future starts from day one, creating opportunities for young people to develop practical life skills, reconnect with education or employment and move towards a home of their own.
You will build strong relationships with local authorities and partner agencies, maintain high standards across housing management, health and safety and Ofsted compliance, and make sure young people are not simply consulted but genuinely heard. Their experiences, ideas and ambitions should shape the support they receive and the way the service grows.
This is an opportunity to lead with heart, challenge what could be better and see the difference your leadership makes in young people’s everyday lives. Through reflective practice, ongoing learning and development and hands on management experience, you will continue growing as a leader, with opportunities to progress across Single Homeless Project's (SHP) Young Person’s Services and the wider organisation.
About you:
- You believe in young people’s potential and know how to build trust, spark confidence and keep going when progress is not straightforward.
- You have experience supervising or developing staff who support young people, including care leavers and those facing multiple disadvantage.
- You understand Ofsted Registered accommodation and can help colleagues turn safeguarding, trauma-informed practice and professional curiosity into meaningful everyday support.
- You are a calm, encouraging and hands-on leader who gives clear guidance, strengthens practice and helps colleagues grow without taking over.
- You bring resilience, fresh ideas and a genuine appetite to develop, using your creativity to open up opportunities for young people to build skills, independence and hope for the future.
About us:
We’re London’s leading homelessness charity – and we get things done.
In a city where hundreds are forced into homelessness every day, our work has never been more needed or more challenging. And we’re not shying away. We’re rolling up our sleeves to make change and helping over 10,000 Londoners every year. We prevent homelessness, provide safe places to live and give people the opportunity to rebuild their lives and transform their futures. And we never give up.
We’re here for Londoners wherever they are on their journey. We start with trust, building relationships that help people feel safe, supported, and ready to move forward. Every day, we put people first in everything we do, challenging injustice and barriers that keep people from the safety, stability and opportunity they deserve. We stand alongside people as they rebuild and shape a future that feels their own.
Joining Single Homeless Project means joining a team that’s bold, compassionate and determined to do better for the people we support and for each other. You’ll work alongside colleagues with lived experience, in a space that’s trans-inclusive, disability-friendly, and actively striving to be anti-oppressive and equitable.
We’re not perfect, but we’re real. We listen. We learn. And we push forward, together. Because this isn’t just a job. It’s a chance to lead with empathy, spark change, and help build a London where no one is left behind.

Lead a pod in our long-running Floating Support service: hold the relationships, develop placement students, and stay close to the work.
At Likewise, the core of what we do is build meaningful one-to-one relationships with people who are finding life difficult, and use those relationships to help people feel supported and make change.
We're recruiting a Pod Leader to join our Floating Support team. As a Pod Leader, you are the person who holds that relationship with every client in your pod. You know them, stay alongside them over the long term, and are accountable for their support, even though many of the visits are carried out by the placement students you lead. You're the person who stays, while others come and go around the work.
You also play a big part in developing your students. Most arrive with no experience of this kind of work, and a lot of what makes a pod work well is the way you help them learn to do it.
Floating Support has been running for over twenty years. It's long-term, flexible support for adults in Camden, in sessions of around two hours, wherever works for the person. We reopened referrals in 2024, and the service is growing, which is part of why this role matters.
Likewise is a community-centred mental health and wellbeing charity based in Camden. We believe that people thrive when they have access to meaningful relationships, supportive communities and opportunities to contribute. We're also committed to building a different kind of organisation, one that values trust, learning, autonomy and shared responsibility.
You don't need a specific qualification to apply, and we welcome people from a range of backgrounds. But this is not an entry-level role. We need people with a good amount of work experience behind them, including some real experience of support work, whether paid or through volunteering. We're more interested in how you are with people, how you think and how you work than in your CV on paper.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
Early applications are encouraged - we may conduct interviews as suitable candidates apply and we're ready to hire if we find the right person before the job ad closes.
We want to make our recruitment as inclusive as possible. If there is a part of this process where you may need reasonable adjustments to do your best, please get in touch to chat it through.
Your CV: we welcome either chronological or skills-based CVs, whichever works best for you.
Your cover letter: we will not accept generic letters. You need to answer the following questions:
Question 1. Tell us about a time you supported someone through something difficult. What did you actually do, what was hard about it, and what did you learn? This can be from work or from volunteering. Please answer in no more than 500 words.
Question 2. Are you applying for a 4 or 5 day role, or are you flexible? Just a line is fine.
We support often isolated, marginalised or excluded people by building authentic relationships and community together.

We're looking for an experienced money advice professional who is passionate about making a real difference to people's lives. You will have a minimum of two years' experience delivering money and debt advice, with the ability to support, motivate and develop others. Whether you're an experienced Team Leader or ready to take the next step in your career, you'll be committed to delivering high quality, person-centred services and achieving the best outcomes for clients. This role is about more than managing performance. It's about leading by example, supporting people experiencing financial hardship, poor mental or physical health, trauma, disability, homelessness or digital exclusion, and helping your team deliver flexible, relationship-based support. We're looking for someone who is compassionate, resilient, organised and solution-focused, with excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style, committed to continuous improvement and helping people build long-term financial resilience.
This role forms part of the Exeter Crisis & Resilience Fund partnership, delivered by Navigate, Churches Housing Action Team (CHAT) and Encompass Southwest – the collaboration is known as Wis£rmoney. Together, we provide a seamless service that supports residents from immediate financial crisis through to long-term resilience. Our partnership combines specialist money and debt advice, welfare benefits advice, housing support, homelessness prevention, trauma-informed practice and financial education to provide holistic support for people experiencing financial hardship. The Crisis & Resilience Fund Team Leader will lead the delivery of the Exeter Crisis & Resilience Service, providing operational leadership to a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred support to residents experiencing financial hardship, crisis and multiple disadvantage. The postholder will line manage Navigate's Client Liaison Officers and the Money Advice Caseworkers employed by partners Churches Housing Action Team (CHAT) and Encompass Southwest to ensure a seamless, coordinated service that supports individuals from immediate financial crisis through to long term resilience. As Navigate's operational lead for the contract, the Team Leader will foster strong partnership working, maintain effective communication across organisations and ensure clients experience a consistent 'No Wrong Door' approach. Alongside leadership responsibilities, the postholder will manage a small caseload of complex clients, delivering FCA-regulated debt advice, welfare benefits advice, advocacy and holistic financial resilience support. They will provide guidance and oversight for complex casework, ensuring clients receive timely, flexible interventions tailored to their individual circumstances.
The Team Leader will champion Wis£rmoney’s relationship-based, trauma-informed approach, recognising that financial hardship rarely exists in isolation. By supporting staff to build trusted relationships with clients, remove barriers to engagement and address the wider issues affecting financial wellbeing, the role will help residents achieve sustainable financial stability, independence and resilience. The postholder will also be responsible for ensuring the service meets all contractual, regulatory and quality requirements, monitoring performance, driving continuous improvement and embedding innovative ways of working that enhance client outcomes while maintaining the personalised support that is central to the service model.

- Promote a positive, supportive team culture that prioritises staff wellbeing, continuous learning and high-quality client outcomes.

We're looking for people who genuinely want to make a difference. You don't need to have worked in money advice before. If you're an excellent communicator, a natural problem solver and enjoy working with people, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed. This role is about much more than providing advice. It's about building trusted relationships with people who may be experiencing financial hardship, poor mental or physical health, trauma, disability, homelessness, digital exclusion or other barriers that make accessing traditional services difficult. If you're compassionate, resilient, organised and committed to helping people rebuild their confidence and financial stability, we'd love to hear from you.
Job Purpose:
The Client Liaison Officers are the first point of contact for individuals referred into the Crisis & Resilience Service and play a vital role in ensuring people receive timely, compassionate and person-centred support. Acting as the gateway into the service, you will build trusted relationships from the very first contact, undertaking holistic assessments to understand not only an individual's financial situation but the wider circumstances affecting their wellbeing and resilience.
You will respond quickly to people experiencing financial hardship or crisis, helping to stabilise their immediate situation through income maximisation, welfare benefits advice, crisis planning and practical support. Working closely with partner organisations, you will ensure every client is connected to the right support at the right time through a coordinated 'no wrong door' approach. You will maintain regular contact with clients throughout their journey, preventing disengagement and ensuring individuals feel supported whilst awaiting ongoing casework. Through empathy, knowledge and flexibility you will remove barriers to engagement, helping clients prepare for specialist advice and supporting them to build the confidence and skills needed for long-term financial resilience.
The role combines triage, welfare benefits advice, crisis intervention, client engagement and case coordination to provide an accessible, responsive and trauma-informed service for some of the most vulnerable people in the community.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Client Engagement and Triage
· Act as the first point of contact for all referrals into the Crisis & Resilience Service.
· Contact new referrals promptly, normally within one working day wherever possible.
· Build positive, trusting relationships from the first interaction.
· Complete holistic needs assessments to understand each client's circumstances, priorities and support needs.
· Identify risks relating to homelessness, utility disconnection, enforcement action, safeguarding and financial crisis.
· Assess barriers to engagement including poor mental health, disability, trauma, digital exclusion, literacy, caring responsibilities and rural isolation.
· Undertake and maintain appropriate risk assessments, including those relating to lone working, to support and safeguard the health, safety and wellbeing of clients and staff.
· Agree preferred communication methods with each client and tailor support accordingly.
Crisis Intervention
Provide immediate practical support to help stabilise clients experiencing financial hardship by:
· Maximising household income through welfare benefits advice and applications.
· Supporting Crisis Fund applications where appropriate.
· Completing benefit entitlement calculations.
· Assisting clients to gather supporting evidence.
· Developing emergency budgets.
· Identifying priority debts.
· Negotiating with priority creditors where appropriate.
· Supporting Breathing Space applications.
