This relies on an expansion in the scale, pace and impact of nature recovery activities across southern England, benefiting globally important habitats and species and delivering ecosystem services including natural beauty, clean water, healthy soils and our own wellbeing.

The Protected Landscapes Partnership and Defra are supporting our Partnership to catalyse progress towards the UK’s nature commitments across these special landscapes. The Nature Recovery Fund Manager will co-manage a significant grants fund on behalf of Big Chalk’s Partnership Board. 

The Big Chalk programme is hosted by the National Landscapes Association. The National Landscapes Association represents and supports the UK’s National Landscapes (Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty). The Association is a charity and non-profit membership organisation. The team advocates, communicates and fosters collaborative action which supports the UK’s network of National Landscapes to be as effective as possible. We champion the interests of National Landscapes with governments and coordinate the delivery of national projects.

Join us at the Royal College of Radiologists where you’ll lead expert teams in assessing radiology services across the UK from independent clinics to major NHS trusts delivering evidence-based evaluations that spark real, lasting improvement.

The Quality Standard for Imaging (QSI) defines what’s needed to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred imaging services. A well-established partnership between the RCR and the College of Radiographers, the QSI supports imaging providers in embedding a culture of continuous quality improvement and achieving excellence.

As a Quality Review Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role in upholding and advancing these standards. Drawing on your professional expertise, you’ll lead assessments of radiology services across a diverse range of settings — from small independent providers to large, multisite NHS and private organisations. You’ll guide expert review teams in delivering independent, evidence-based evaluations, and produce focused reports and action plans that drive meaningful improvement.

What you’ll do:

• Act as the designated Quality Review Partner for a portfolio of imaging services across the UK.
• Provide expert guidance to QSI leads on both the review process and the standards.
• Manage the full review cycle for services in your portfolio.
• Select and coordinate review team members in collaboration with the Quality Improvement Administrator.
• Participate in quality assurance and moderation activities to ensure consistency and rigour.

What you’ll bring:

• Demonstrable experience in quality assurance, accreditation, or evaluation assessments, or in healthcare quality management.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and assessment approaches.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, tailored to diverse audiences.

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Job Sumnmary for Policy Officer 

We are looking for a Policy Officer to join our Policy and Influencing team. You will build on your policy experience, responding to and shaping policy to ensure it drives real change for people affected by bowel cancer. You will turn complex issues into clear, actionable insight for colleagues, partners, and decision-makers, and contribute to evidence-informed positions that support the charity in influencing health policy. You will also lead on your own policy areas and work closely with our bowel cancer community to ensure their experiences inform and shape our work.

Person Specification

Qualifications and Experience

• We welcome applicants from a broad range of experience and background, specifically spanning policy, science or health
• Some direct experience of working on policy issues in health, or a relevant sector, and a willingness to develop these skills further, alongside an interest in those issues affecting bowel cancer patients.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

• Good verbal, written communications and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively and adapt style to different audiences. Including the ability to explain information clearly and encourage colleagues to understand different points of view
• Proven ability of strong analytical and research skills to identify and solve a range of problems
• Good interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills
• Understanding of the health policy and political environment
• Excellent organisational, time and project management skills with the ability to prioritise work, handle conflicting demands and meet tight deadlines on defined work areas
• Proven ability to support the day-to-day management of specified projects, proving some technical input in the project planning stage.
• Knowledge of the health service and health service policy issues. Awareness of cancer issues and bowel cancer in particular is desirable

Job Summary for Senior Data Manager

• A senior data leadership role sitting at the heart of the Data & IT function, reporting to the CFO and working in close partnership with the Senior IT Manager — with this role taking lead responsibility for all things data
• Own and lead the charity's data strategy, working collaboratively with senior leadership to shape a forward-looking, insight-driven organisation
• Take full ownership of CRM operations (Raiser's Edge NXT), driving adoption, optimisation and continuous improvement to ensure the charity is truly getting the most from the system — unlocking the data, trends and insight within it
• Hold overall responsibility for the Charity Automation Roadmap, driving systems integration and automation to reduce manual effort and improve data flows across the organisation
• Develop Power BI dashboards and reporting frameworks that bring data to life — putting actionable insight into the hands of teams across the organisation
• Build strong, collaborative relationships across fundraising, finance and operational teams — translating business needs into practical technology solutions
• Champion data quality, GDPR compliance and governance, embedding robust standards and processes organisation-wide
