To carry out its charitable work the NSPCC relies on the fundraising support of
people across the UK for 90% of its income. Within Engagement and Fundraising
our aim is to provide maximum resources for the NSPCC, providing the best
possible supporter experience.
Mass Participation Fundraising is an important acquisition and income stream in
the NSPCC’s Engagement and Fundraising strategy, managing the delivery of a
portfolio of Third Party Events and Schools Fundraising products, as well as
stewarding supporters looking to do their own fundraising activity for the charity
(‘DIY’ fundraisers).
We are looking for a skilled Senior Marketing Officer, who will work across these
audience streams to coordinate marketing activity. This role will focus specifically
on marketing to mass audiences to reflect the breadth of audiences who take part
in Mass Participation Events. This includes parents, grandparents, professionals

The Senior Education Coordinator – School Partnerships will help ensure young people across England and Wales develop essential oracy skills by supporting the sales of the ESU’s educational products. Job Description
Purpose of the role
The Legal Officer will play a key role in supporting ILPA’s legal and policy work on immigration, economic migration, asylum and nationality law.
Working under the direction of the Director of Policy and Advocacy, the post holder will engage in detailed legal and policy analysis, support parliamentary and influencing activity, support legal project delivery, and contribute to high-quality information and engagement for ILPA members. The Legal Officer will need to work reliably and flexibly across a broad range of legal and policy issues, often at short notice.
The Legal Officer will also work with the Director of Strategic Litigation and Advice where legal policy and strategic litigation intersect.
Key responsibilities

The FA's Grassroots Division is looking for a purpose led Impact Manager, with a strong analytical skill set to lead the development and delivery of a robust impact framework for grassroots football, ensuring The FA and County FAs can clearly evidence the difference football makes locally and nationally. A key part of the role will be providing clear financial insight and commentary to the Director of Finance & Operations, senior leaders, trustees and budget holders, helping ensure financial information translates into effective organisational decision-making.
You will also have supervisory responsibilities, providing technical guidance to colleagues, reviewing finance work and helping to ensure the team consistently delivers accurate work to agreed deadlines.
Key responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading on monthly management accounts, forecasts and budget monitoring
- Providing insightful variance analysis and financial commentary
- Supporting senior leaders and budget holders with financial advice
- Leading month-end and year-end processes
- Maintaining and reviewing key balance sheet and control account reconciliations
- Managing cashflow reporting and wider financial planning
- Reviewing and reconciling monthly payroll
- Supporting internal and external audit processes
- Supporting the five-year budget plan and integrated financial planning
About you
We are seeking a fully qualified accountant with a recognised professional qualification such as ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS or equivalent.
You will have a strong management accounting background and experience across areas such as management accounts, forecasting, budget monitoring, reconciliations, month-end and year-end processes.
We are particularly keen to speak with candidates who have experience of:
- Producing management accounts and financial reports
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Financial controls and reconciliations
- Audit preparation and supporting audit queries
- Improving financial systems and processes
- Working accurately to tight deadlines
- Advanced Excel and financial data analysis
Experience within a school, academy trust, charity, public sector or similarly regulated environment would be advantageous. Knowledge of academy finance requirements, ESFA returns and school MIS platforms would also be desirable.
You will be a confident communicator who can explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders, challenge appropriately and build strong relationships across an organisation.
