Cure Parkinson’s is looking for an experienced events professional to join our Research Team and take charge of our programme of research workshops and conferences, both for the scientific community and for lay/patient supporters of the charity. As our Scientific Programmes Manager you will have a degree in life sciences, with experience in neuroscience an advantage. About the role:
ILPA is a charity and professional membership body working to improve immigration, asylum and nationality law. Our training programme is a core part of our work and one of our largest income streams. We deliver over 60 courses and conferences a year to an average of 2,000 practitioners across the UK, supporting lawyers, caseworkers, advisers and organisations working with migrants.
The Training Manager will not directly teach any training content but will run this programme end to end, ensuring all trainings and events are delivered professionally, to a high standard. This is a hands-on role that requires strong organisational skills, confidence with digital platforms and the ability to work with experienced external tutors. The post holder will shape the training calendar with support from the Training Advisory Board and maintain ILPA’s reputation for high-quality, practitioner-led training.
Key Responsibilities
Programme planning and development
• Build and manage the annual and quarterly training schedule with a balance of advanced, intermediate and introductory courses across immigration, asylum and nationality law
• Facilitate and support the Training Advisory Board to identify priorities and emerging issues

Tutor and content management

The Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF) is seeking an experienced and creative communications professional to join our growing international team working to deliver conservation impact and protect the basic human right to a secure natural environment. Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee the implementation of EJF’s content and digital communications, ensuring our investigations and advocacy are presented with clarity and impact. Lively Minds is an award-winning NGO with nearly 20 years of experience designing, testing and scaling early childhood development (ECD) solutions across the Global South. Purpose of the Role

Working in close partnership with the Founding CEO, who retains ownership of a small number of long-standing strategic relationships, the Director will take primary responsibility for securing the funding that makes the 2026–2028 strategy deliverable, and that opens the door to greater scale beyond it. We need to raise approximately £3.4m over the next 3 years to deliver our strategy. But our ambition is to exceed that target so we can support additional governments.
Alongside fundraising, the Director will provide strategic leadership to Lively Mindsʼ communications and advocacy work, ensuring that the organisationʼs external voice is compelling and that we are building credibility in the spaces where funding decisions are made. The Director will lead and provide strategic coherence to a small but outward-facing team, including Head of Partnerships and Advocacy Lead who are active on the international stage. Lively Minds is committed to thought-leadership and active external engagement, but equally committed to ensuring that communications resource is deployed with discipline and rigour. The Director will set a clear strategic filter for where the organisation shows up, what it publishes and who it engages: prioritising focus and quality over volume, and always asking whether external activity is building the relationships and reputation that ultimately drive income and/or systems change.
Lively Minds is a dispersed, remote organisation. The Directorʼs team the Advocacy Lead, Development Manager and Communications Officer - are internationally distributed. The ability to lead, develop and maintain high standards across a dispersed team is essential. The role requires regular travel to international conferences and events.

We are recruiting an Evidence Engagement Manager to join our Evidence Services: England and UK Portfolios Team. This is an important role in delivering our Evidence and Impact ambitions. You will act as the link between funding portfolios and the wider Evidence and Impact team, improving how evidence is used across the funding cycle and helping colleagues make confident, evidence-based decisions.
Working closely with portfolio teams to understand their priorities, challenges and decision-making needs, you will identify where evidence can add value. This could include evidence to understand community needs and support assessment of applications, to shaping major funding programmes, supporting monitoring and evaluation practices and supporting decisions at leadership and committee level.
You will translate user needs into clear evidence requirements, commissioning or coordinating the development of products within Evidence Services, across the Evidence and Impact team or externally. Products can include:
You will help build evidence capability across the Fund, helping colleagues access and use evidence more independently through self-service tools, guidance, support and development. You will lead roll out of products, ensuring they meet user needs, are adopted effectively and continue to improve through feedback and review.
This role requires a strong understanding of how evidence can be applied in real-world decision making, alongside excellent stakeholder engagement and project management skills, supported by a breadth of evidence and analysis knowledge.
This role includes line management of an Evidence Engagement officer, as well as matrix and task management of other staff from across Evidence and Impact.

This is an exciting new role for the charity, working across the organisation to make sure external engagement and communications are aligned with the charity's strategy and contribute to their goals. As Senior External Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the charity's external engagement, communications and marketing strategy. You will lead campaigning and influencing work, ensuring that young people’s voices and priorities are at the forefront.
You will be responsible for key communications moments, such as the charity's Annual Report and fundraising campaigns, and represent the charity externally to stakeholders and the medial. You will also oversee the Senior Comms Officer, and day-to-day digital and social media comms.
To excel in this role, you will bring a proven ability to develop and deliver communications or engagement strategies that support wider organisational goals. You will have experience of delivering and overseeing consistent, high-quality communications across multiple channels. You will have experience of building relationships with external stakeholders to change their policy or practice, including local or national government.
