The National Society for Education (NSE) is both an NCI and a Royal-charter charity. It's aims are to support Church schools and the wider education sector by developing leaders, shaping policy and growing faith.
The NSE leads the Church of England's national work in education in partnership with 41 Diocesan Boards of Education and approximately 4,700 Church of England schools. We also support the national education work of the Church in Wales, which includes around 150 schools. Our presence extends to work with community schools and academy trusts, as well as higher and further education through numerous chaplaincies, providing spiritual support and guidance to children and young people, and to adults.
We are a dynamic team, working remotely from our homes around the country. We gather regularly online, and also have in-person team days through the year.

As Marketing Officer, you will join the Business Development, Marketing and Communications Manager and Communications Coordinator to form a small yet dynamic and effective marketing team. Together you will support the marketing activities for the National Society for Education and the sub teams within it. These include the Professional Learning Group, Growing Faith, Partnerships & Engagement, Education Policy and SIAMS teams.
- Assist in maintaining the social media content calendar and creating and scheduling approved content across the NSE channels.
- Provide support in identifying key audience groups and tailor content to ensure relevance and engagement.
- Support the preparation of monthly marketing reports with social media analytics so we can monitor engagement and performance of campaigns.
- Support in market research activities to inform future marketing activities.
- Keep up to date with current market trends relating to the education sector.
- Provide support to the Communications Coordinator in updating and adding content to the NSE website.
- Occasionally use templates to design assets for external marketing activities.
- Occasionally provide marketing support and training to team members and partners.
- Occasionally attend in-person events to gather marketing material and schedule live socials.
- Occasionally support at film- and photo-shoots to create content that promotes our work.

We are looking for a full time Campaign and Advocacy Manager with experience in running campaigns for a political cause, managing coalitions, who is able to demonstrate policy-change impact.
You would be running Migrant Democracy Project’s cornerstone Votes for All campaign which wishes to see the right to vote extended to all residents in the UK, no matter where they are from. The Campaign and Advocacy Manager will have a strategic and creative mindset for the campaign, will be able to plan well into the future as well as capture opportunities in the moment. You will engage with politicians at every level to gather their support, identify ways for these politicians to take action for the progress of the campaign, engineer moments to bring awareness to the issue such as stunts and mass lobbies, liaise with a network of organisations campaigning on democracy and migrant justice, and hold comprehensive policy information about voting rights. You will liaise with the media, politicians, residents without the right to vote, and other stakeholders to make votes for all inevitable.

However, more work is needed. Young migrants can experience significant barriers to educational attainment, further and higher education, employment and personal development because of their immigration status.
These barriers can arise long before a young person reaches the point of applying to university, beginning an apprenticeship or entering employment. We recognise that university is not the only pathway to success and that young people should be supported to explore a range of routes that reflect their ambitions, strengths and circumstances.
Early intervention is therefore essential to ensure that young migrants understand their rights, receive accurate information and appropriate support, and are able to make informed decisions about their education, training, employment and future.

About the Role
We are looking for an education or youth work professional who can deliver our programmes to a very high standard. You will be a skilled facilitator and communicator who can engage with young people from a diverse range of backgrounds. As Youth Programmes Officer you will be responsible for the delivery and coordination of our flagship knife crime prevention workshops to young people, to a high standard.
