Young Citizens is recruiting a Communications & Engagement Coordinator to join us in a hands‑on role at the heart of our mission to help young people become active, engaged and informed citizens. As part of our national charity's central team, you’ll deliver essential engagement campaigns and content that help us stand out to schools, communities, partners and the wider public.

Your Role's Purpose

This role brings together a varied mix of communications work, giving you the chance to shape how Young Citizens’ story is shared with schools, partners and the wider public. You’ll help bring our work to life through clear, engaging content and play a part in the moments that showcase our impact throughout the year. Working closely with colleagues across the charity, you’ll support campaigns, highlight powerful stories, and help ensure our communications feel purposeful and relevant.

Alongside managing content and channels, you’ll be high energy but organised in keeping our communications running smoothly behind the scenes, from responding to external enquiries to supporting events, maintaining our systems and assets, and helping programme teams refine materials and messages. It’s a role for someone who enjoys a fast-paced organisation with experience in ensuring strong execution of marketing and communications work alongside contributing to how we improve and strengthen processes.

In Year 1, your primary focus will be to: 

• Ensure development of high‑quality content and manage outputs across digital channels, from email blasts to LinkedIn campaigns
• Design targeted national campaigns that reach priority audiences, especially teachers and schools
• Help ensure our messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with our mission and values
• Assist with the annual communications plan and organisation‑wide campaigns
• Support impact reporting and storytelling across platforms
• Provide communications and PR support to senior management for fundraising, events, and partnerships
• Contribute to the ongoing development of our communications approach across channels

Who we are looking for

This role is our primary communications role, working with our education and delivery managers to ensure great comms for the charity. It requires someone ready to own and lead this work understanding out to ensure good quality assurance processes but also strategic deployment of e-comms.

You should have around three or more years’ experience in communications, digital marketing, or a similar role, ready to lead a busy portfolio of work.

Working closely with the Head of Transformation & Systems Lead and the wider team, the successful candidate will coordinate subscription administration, respond to inbox enquiries, support marketing campaigns and assist with the organisation and delivery of training events. The role combines administrative responsibility with opportunities to contribute ideas and support audience growth.

This position offers valuable experience across marketing coordination, customer communication and event support within a small and collaborative team. The postholder will play an important role in maintaining subscriber relationships, supporting promotional activity and ensuring events run smoothly.

The two regional roles currently available are fundamental to the delivery of the third phase of the Seed Sovereignty Programme across southern and western England.

Working alongside the north east based England Lead, each role involves supporting seed networks across a dedicated region (southern or west of England- see regional map)  through training, mentoring, and routes to market, as well as engaging with a range of groups and individuals through events, workshops and talks.  The role involves collaborating with the rest of the Seed Sovereignty Programme team remotely to share best practices and develop the delivery of the work nationally.

Key Responsibilities for the role:

Seed knowledge:  Understanding agroecology, small-scale seed production, seed sovereignty, and open-pollinated varieties.

· Has a good understanding of seed saving and agroecological seed systems.

· Supports outreach and communications to share knowledge on seed saving and agroecological seed systems.

· Assists in the identification and development of new regional opportunities.

Collaboration: Building strong, respectful relationships.

· Works closely with the Regional Leads and Coordinators through team meetings, working groups and collaborative projects to ensure smooth communication and delivery.

· Is the “go to” person for enquiries regarding activities within the region.

· Builds and maintains strong relationships with regional network partners.

· Develops new collaborations opportunities within the network and beyond it where strategically appropriate.  

Training & Facilitation: delivering training sessions (in-person and online) for diverse groups.

· Supports the design, organisation, and delivery of training sessions and workshops (both in-person and online) for diverse participants at a range of levels.

· Assists with the coordination of regional training logistics and participant engagement.

Project Coordination: supporting events, and multi-stakeholder projects across regions.

· Works with the Programme team to deliver the bi-annual Seed Gathering and Seed TV webinars.

· Actively takes part in regional initiatives such as variety trials, mentoring programmes, seed production projects, and collaborative networking events.

· Liases with partners and participants to track progress and maintain project momentum.

Monitoring & Reporting: Collecting and presenting data.

· Monitor and track progress for the region in order to inform learning, evaluate success and report to funders.

Communication

· Confident with social media, websites and online working platforms in order to communicate the work and engage with the network effectively.

· A confident writer who can capture and express stories from the work and network in a variety of mediums, from blogs to social media posts to narrative funding reports.

Axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) is a painful, lifelong inflammatory condition affecting around 1 in  people. Despite this, awareness remains low and diagnosis is often delayed.

ASIF brings together 60 patient organisations across 48 countries to raise awareness, strengthen patient voices and improve understanding of axSpA globally. We are a small, fully remote team who care deeply about the work we do and about working supportively and collaboratively with one another.

We are now looking for an organised, proactive and thoughtful Project Co-ordinator/ Operations Assistant to help us deliver a major international online research study, while also supporting our wider activities.

This is an opportunity to be part of something meaningful - research that will help shape advocacy, awareness and understanding for people living with inflammatory arthritis around the world.

The Role

Your time will be split approximately:

• 70–80% supporting an ambitious international research project·
• 20–30% supporting ASIF’s wider operations

You will work closely with our Project Manager, international member organisations and scientific partners to support all stages of the study, from set-up and ethics submissions through to recruitment, reporting and sharing findings globally.

LGBT Foundation is an impactful, vibrant charity with a wide portfolio of well-established services and rapidly developing new initiatives aimed at meeting the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans people.

We are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to support our volunteers and staff team to have an efficient and enjoyable volunteer programme. You will coordinate volunteer recruitment, social events and training, and as part of ‘Team People’, you will work to support the wider team to ensure volunteers and their supervisors are fully supported and deployed effectively. In addition, part of your role will be to support on a funded project or programme of work for LGBT Foundation (4 hours per week). 

The post holder will be responsible for:

Core Purpose
The Wish Assist Coordinator is responsible for the facilitation and delivery of wishes on behalf of Make-A-Wish UK’s international affiliates, ensuring that each wish experience is unique to the child / young person, creating magical experiences for them to cherish.  The Wish Assist Coordinator is responsible for the facilitation and management of a large network of relationships primarily Make-A-Wish affiliates, partners and suppliers, but also the wish child and their family.

Key Responsibilities:
Wish Assist Delivery

• Manage and oversee a caseload of 70+ wishes, per annum.
• Work with our affiliates, suppliers, and volunteers to develop detailed event plans and facilitate bespoke wish experiences in line with the affiliate’s wish journey processes for international wish children.
• Manage and oversee 30+ RUSH wishes per annum
• Work with UK wish families to develop detailed event plans and facilitate bespoke wish experiences for UK based wish children with a short prognosis
• Prioritise workload effectively considering requirements for each wish and time difference between collaborating affiliates.
• Coordinate all required logistical aspects of the wish events, including transportation, accommodations, and medical equipment.
• Manage contracts, payments, and schedules with all third-party providers.
• Ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and legal requirements.
• Manage and oversee each wish to work within the individual specified budget with accuracy and care.
• Monitor and track all expenditures against individual wish budgets, ensuring all costs are accurately recorded on the Salesforce CRM system and aligned with financial policies, whilst sharing all expenditure with the originating affiliate.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising the quality of the wish, negotiating with suppliers to secure the best terms.
• Procure £5,000+ in Gift in Kind income to be utilised on wishes.
• Ensure that each wish is magical and creates maximum impact for the wish child.
• Conduct post-event evaluation through conversations with affiliates and suppliers, to gather feedback and measure success.
• Working with the finance department, accurately and efficiently manage post-wish payments and invoicing to ensure wish costs are settled in a timely manner in line with Make-A-Wish SLAs.

Wish Assist Additional Responsibilities

• Support the Wishgranting Wish Assist Manager with wish forecasting and planning for Wish Assist wishes.
• Upload new Wish Assist requests to our Salesforce CRM system and keep accurate admin and data entry for efficient record keeping and communication between stakeholders in the wish.
• Ensuring all wish records and related data are stored and maintained on Make-A-Wish Information Systems and that all data is managed within set policies and procedures.
• Partake in regular forums regarding Wish Assist delivery with Make-A-Wish International and international colleagues to ensure best practice.

Safeguarding and Data Governance

• Ensure compliance with the organisation’s safeguarding policies.
• Complete mandatory safeguarding training and refreshers, as required.
• Promptly report any concerns or incidents regarding the safety and welfare of participants, particularly children and vulnerable adults, to the Designated Safeguarding Officer.
• Ensure that all wish events are conducted in a safe environment where participants feel secure and protected.
• Ensure all wish records and related data are stored and maintained on Make-A-Wish Information Systems and that all data is managed within set policies and procedures (such as data privacy, liability, consent forms, marketing permissions etc).

Organisational responsibilities

• Within Make-A-Wish's performance & growth framework “Being Brilliant” initiate regular conversations with your line manager when you discuss your role objectives, personal development, wellbeing and other topics  
• Complete one Wish Discovery (meeting the wish children and their family to help them explore what their wish could be) and one fundraising event a year 
• Attend whole organisation meetings like monthly symposium and townhall as well as ad-hoc training opportunities as required; and as much as possible attend social events happening twice a year.
• Work with your colleagues across the organisation within the framework set in Make-A-Wish Ways of Working

Essential Criteria

• A minimum of 1-year previous experience in roles with a customer service or events management specialism

Interim Programme & Community Coordinator

£16.48 per hour | 21 hours per week | Fully Remote | Immediate Start

We are working with a small national charity focused on tackling racial inequality and strengthening leadership in Black and minoritised communities.

They are seeking a part-time Interim Programme & Community Coordinator to provide short-term cover and ensure continuity of programme delivery while longer-term arrangements are confirmed.

This is a fully remote, home-based role (UK-based candidates only), with no regular office attendance required.

The current postholder leaves in four weeks, so we are looking for someone who can step in quickly with minimal supervision, with a short handover period.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in keeping programmes running smoothly, supporting delivery, communications, and operational coordination in a small, mission-driven organisation.

Programme Delivery Coordination

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in administration or programme coordination
• Highly competent with digital tools and AI (Outlook/Google Workspace, Excel/Sheets, Teams/Zoom, shared drives)
• Comfortable working autonomously in a small organisation

• Experienced in the charity or community sector (desirable)

The person who currently leads ADUKs education and training work is moving into an exciting new role within our team. Key Purpose: The postholder will play a key role in strengthening knowledge, understanding, and best practice both within the sector and externally with service providers and the public, helping to remove barriers for assistance dog partnerships.

Internal focus: Coordinate the learning and development of ADUK member organisations, ensuring access to high-quality resources, training, and support to maintain knowledge sharing and best practice development across the sector.

External focus: Deliver education engagements and training to stakeholders, including businesses, service providers, and the public, through ADUK’s wider education initiatives and the new Corporate Allyship Programme.

Key Responsibilities

Learning:

• Manage ADUK’s shared Learning Management System (Moodle) and training platform, supporting members to make the most of the available content and resources.

Knowledge Sharing:

• Collaborate with staff and volunteers from member organisations and candidates to identify learning needs and expertise.
• Coordinate engaging and effective knowledge-sharing programmes aligned with member needs.

Education Delivery:

• Work with ADUK colleagues to coordinate and deliver engaging education initiatives, both in-person and virtually, for service providers and public services.
• Coordinate logistics for external training events, including venues and registrations.
• Support delivery of training for the ADUK’s Corporate Allyship Programme in collaboration with relevant colleagues.

Partnerships and Collaboration:

• Identify opportunities to work with external bodies, partners, and stakeholders to deliver training and share knowledge with the wider community.

Evaluation and Impact:

• Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of knowledge-sharing programmes and external training and explore how best to leverage this evidence. 
• Prepare and present impact reports to inform continuous improvement.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

• Recent and relevant experience (3 years +) in designing and delivering in-person and online training and educational workshops and programmes.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Experience in managing learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning tools, (preferably Moodle based LMS)
• Excellent organisations skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and coordinate multiple organisations and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Confident relationship building skills.
• A collaborative and adaptable approach to teamwork, with the ability to work effectively as part of a small team that sits within a large membership network.
• Be able and willing to travel extensively (across England, Wales and Scotland) to deliver in person training.

Join our Wellbeing and Connections team, in this role supporting those with dementia and their carers and family, for residents aged 60+ in the London Borough of Westminster.

About the role:
As our Dementia Coordinator, you’ll lead the development and coordination of  a tailored, personalised dementia-focused service, working closely with volunteers, carers, and local partners. Your work will help create a supportive, connected community where people living with dementia feel valued, engaged and have greater control over thier management of thier condition.

We have existing monthly activites for those with dementia including our MCST group and our monthly Memory Cafés. The first offers a structured group session and the cafes offers a relaxed, informal setting for people with dementia and their family, friends and carers to get together. The Memory Cafés provides a mixture of talks, information and advice, entertainment and activities. You will work with staff and volunteers to ensure the delivery of these services and ensure they meet the needs of your clients and carers.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the devlopment and delivery of a client focussed offer for those with early stage dementia, undertaking personalised assessments and planning to meet the individual needs of clients and thier carers. 
• Work with the wider team to support clients in accessing dementia related support, befriending support, social activities beyond the dementia groups and other related services.
• Build strong partnerships with local dementia services across health, social care, and the voluntary sector.
• Use and support the team of existing dementia linked volunteers and develop further recruitment and training as needed.

You have experience working in dementia services or the voluntary sector or in a personal context, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by people living with dementia and their carers. You’re proactive, organised, and passionate about delivering person-centred support that makes a real difference.
