About This Vacancy

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Project Officer to join our International Programmes Team on a permanent basis, working within our Asia region.

Overview

The Project Officer will be part of a regional team that works with new and existing partners to design, deliver and learn from projects in line with the organisation’s mission. The team supports the full project cycle: partner engagement, application review, due diligence, project design, contracting, implementation support, monitoring, evaluation and project closure, maintaining accurate records throughout, in close collaboration with the Quality Team (Director and Quality Assurance and Impact (MEAL) Specialists).

The Project Officer will work collaboratively across the regional team, providing flexible support and surge capacity during peak periods and responding to emerging priorities as required. Under the supervision of Programme Managers and the Regional Director, they will also take day-to-day responsibility for a portfolio of assigned partners and specific projects, ensuring timely progression from concept to completion and that documentation, compliance, quality assurance and learning requirements are met. This includes working with the Quality Team to integrate appropriate MEAL approaches, support data quality and ensure learning is captured and shared.
 

Key Responsibilities

·Project Identification and Evaluation

oIdentify and assess project concepts and proposals with assigned partners, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, feasibility, risk, safeguarding considerations and expected impact.

oContribute to emergency or rapid-response programming when required, including providing surge support to colleagues and helping to coordinate time-critical actions.

oSupport partner mapping and relationship management activities, helping to identify potential partners and project opportunities.

oUndertake contextual and partner due diligence research to inform project design, risk management and decision-making.

oPrepare high-quality proposals for internal review and project governance processes, including summaries of recommendations, risks and mitigation actions with the support of the Quality Team and in line with standards set by them.

·Grant Administration

oSupport Programme Managers and the Regional Director through the full project cycle, from initial scoping and proposal development through contracting, implementation support, monitoring, evaluation and closure.

oManage any individually assigned projects through the full project cycle, from initial scoping and proposal development through contracting, implementation support, monitoring, evaluation and closure.

oEnsure projects comply with organisational policies and procedures (including safeguarding and due diligence), and any relevant donor, statutory and partner requirements.

oEnsure the fulfilment of any actions mandated by the Programmes Subcommittee.

oTrack delivery against agreed plans, budgets and results frameworks; flag variances, support problem-solving with partners and colleagues, and recommend adjustments where needed.

oWork with the Quality Team (Director and Quality Assurance and Impact (MEAL) Specialists) to agree proportionate MEAL plans for assigned projects (e.g., indicators, data sources, reporting schedules), and to strengthen quality assurance throughout implementation.

·Stakeholder Engagement

oAct as a key point of contact for assigned partners, working closely with Programme Managers and the wider regional team to coordinate support and decision-making.

oMaintain regular communication with partners to provide guidance throughout proposal development and implementation, including on reporting requirements, procurement expectations and agreed outputs/outcomes.

oCoordinate with the Quality Team (Director and Quality Assurance and Impact (MEAL) Specialists) to support partner capacity strengthening on quality assurance and MEAL requirements, and to address quality or evidence gaps identified during implementation.

oDevelop familiarity with other organisations working in the Region and look for opportunities to collaborate with and learn from them.

·Budget Administration

oSupport sound financial management across the Regional Team and for assigned projects, including budget review, payment scheduling, verification of supporting documentation and reconciliation of expenditure against budgets.

oFor approved projects, ensure that all finance processes are completed to facilitate payments.

oPrepare clear updates and financial summaries for Programme Managers, the Regional Director and other internal stakeholders, maintaining an appropriate audit trail.

·Reporting and Documentation

oMaintain complete and accurate project documentation for assigned projects, including due diligence records, agreements, correspondence, partner reports and closure documents.

oMaintain project and partner information in relevant systems and trackers, producing reports and analysis as required.

oMonitor progress and results, review partner narrative and financial reports, support evaluations where appropriate, and ensure project learning is captured and shared within the team.

oWork with the Quality Team (Director and Quality Assurance and Impact (MEAL) Specialists) to review project evidence, ensure data quality standards are met, and support evaluations, reviews and learning products as required.

oCoordinate meetings and follow-up actions (including agendas, minutes and action logs) to ensure decisions are recorded and progressed.

Person Requirement

Essential

·Experience in project administration or coordination, ideally in the charity, NGO or public sector.

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of partners and stakeholders across different cultures and contexts.

·Proficiency in MS Office suite and comfort using online systems for project tracking and document management.

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

·Strong attention to detail.

·Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly as part of a diverse, dispersed team.

·Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines under pressure.

·Familiarity with CRM or grant management systems (e.g. Salesforce)

About the role

This is a part-time, permanent role (14 hours per week) that sits at the heart of LAH's operations and administration. As our Bookkeeper, you will ensure our financial records are accurate, our compliance obligations are met, and our senior team has the reliable information they need to make good decisions.

Day to day, you will process invoices and payments, reconcile bank accounts, prepare records for our annual audit, manage our income tracking across all programmes, and support payroll administration, all using Xero. You will report directly to the Director and work closely with the wider team.

This is not a back-office role at a distance from our mission. You will be on-site with us, part of the team, and your work will be visible and valued.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Retail Van Driver & stock Collector to join the Retail team. Your role is to ensure the careful movement, collection and delivery in liaison with Shop Managers, of all merchandise within a dedicated boundary as directed by the Retail Operations Manager.

Role Requirements

Minimum age 21 or Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) holder for Insurance purposes.

• Responsible for the collection and delivery of donated goods to the required location within agreed timescales and to agreed targets.
• To provide delivery and collection service to external stock generation sites through Donation Stations.
• To undertake bag drops and collections as required.
• To maintain strict control of security of all goods collected, transported and delivered.
• To ensure minimum losses are incurred on goods and furniture by the careful and respectful handling of all such items.
• Role will involve a large amount of heavy lifting in picking up and moving stock including furniture.
• To support maintenance of multi-site storage of stock belonging to The Children’s Trust
• Transportation of rubbish and unwanted items to recycling centre or refuse site as appropriate.
• To ensure customer care and quality of service.
• To act as the representative of The Children’s Trust in the collection from and delivery to customers of donated goods and furniture.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Volunteer Recruitment & Onboarding

• Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding of volunteers across all Hospice roles, including clinical, wellbeing, family support, retail, fundraising, finance, facilities and administrative roles.
• Deliver a high-quality, seamless onboarding experience for volunteer applicants.
• Co-deliver monthly Introduction to Volunteering sessions, including follow-up engagement.
• Maintain effective recruitment pipelines to meet service needs.
• Support with recruitment campaigns for high priority volunteering roles.

Compliance & Governance

• Oversee volunteer compliance, ensuring volunteers, where required:
  • Have satisfactory references
  • Are DBS-checked
  • Complete and refresh mandatory training, including face-to-face safeguarding and relevant onboarding training via departments
• Maintain accurate compliance records within CRM systems.
• Monitor and report on DBS and safeguarding renewals, liaising with volunteers, team leaders and the education team.
• Ensure adherence to Hospice policies, legal requirements and best practice

Volunteer Operations & Service Delivery

• Provide front line guidance and advice on volunteer involvement and best practice to volunteer involving teams.
• Work with education team to co-facilitate Hospice Connections training sessions where required.

• Part of the People Team office cover answering telephone, email and in person queries or directing the enquiry to the right place to be resolved. This includes monitoring the volunteering and volunteer reference and volunteer rota inboxes.
• Arrange regular meetings with Hospice volunteer managers to:
  • Review volunteer pipelines and activity
  • Analyse data and service needs
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration and service improvement
• Be a main point of contact for volunteers in key operational roles (e.g. IPU Kitchen, Meet & Greet), including recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and ongoing support

• Organise IPU volunteer rota planning and management (forward planning and weekly), ensuring adequate cover and resolving last-minute gaps, arranging shadow shifts and organising mentor allocation.
• Manage and organise tasks for admin volunteers within the Voluntary Services team.

Volunteer Engagement & Experience

• Support with the planning and delivery of an annual programme of volunteer engagement events (e.g. Sunday lunches, feedback forums, seasonal events): Coordinate event logistics including communications, RSVPs, venues, catering and health & safety.
• Actively gather, review and respond to volunteer feedback to continuously improve the volunteer experience.
• Coordinate and support volunteer communications across the organisation, including the production and distribution of the monthly volunteer bulletin and volunteer updates.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and motivating environment for volunteers.

Data, Systems & Continuous Improvement

• Use data insights to inform planning and improve service delivery.

Job Description

The Head of Delivery & Partnerships is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the 
successful implementation, quality of outcomes, and retention of DFN Project SEARCH programmes 
across the UK, the Republic of Ireland and Iberia, in line with our franchise agreement from Project 
SEARCH . This role leads the Delivery & Partnerships team, ensuring strategic alignment, excellence 
of delivery, and sustained impactful partnerships.
You will play a pivotal role in driving programme quality, ensuring retention, maintaining model 
fidelity, and ensuring high-quality outcomes for interns. Additionally, you will oversee the growth of 
our number of programmes, in line with our strategic regional and national plans. You will also 
contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation, working closely with cross-functional teams 
to maximise DFN Project SEARCH’s impact.
Regular travel throughout the UK will be required, with occasional travel to other areas of our delivery. 
In addition, occasional international travel may be required, for example to the annual conference in 
the United States.

The Philharmonia is seeking to appoint a Box Office and CRM Manager to lead the management, development and optimisation of the Orchestra’s CRM strategy, systems and audience experience. The roles focuses on ensuring a seamless customer journey while overseeing the effective operation of the Box Office and the ongoing development of Tessitura.

This is a key role overseeing both the day-to-day operation and strategic development of the Philharmonia’s Box Office and CRM function. The successful candidate will play an important role in developing ticketing and customer strategies that maximise sales income, improve conversion and enhance the audience experience.

As a public facing member of staff, the Box Office and CRM Manager will be a key representative of the Orchestra, ensuring customers receive a welcoming, efficient and accessible service whether booking online, by phone or in person. A proven track record of delivering excellent customer service is therefore essential.

The role will also lead on the effective management and ongoing development of Tessitura, supporting audience insight, segmentation, reporting and customer journeys across the organisation. Working closely with colleagues across Marketing, Development, Finance and Concerts, the successful candidate will help ensure that customer data is used effectively to support audience growth, income generation and informed decision-making.

Strategic planning and implementation:

• Work closely with Marketing and Development colleagues to develop and implement CRM strategies that support audience growth, income generation, membership retention/acquisition and fundraising objectives

• Lead the Trust’s collaboration initiative with YouthBuild UK, a South London based charity that trains YP to be work ready in a variety of industries including construction, hospitality, customer care and IT to enhance impact of our Career Search and Skills Development (CSSD) programme.
