What You’ll Be Doing
As our Individual Giving Assistant – Supporter Acquisition, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our fundraising campaigns and projects, helping to recruit new supporters to the Charity. You’ll be one of the first points of contact for our donors, providing exceptional supporter care and ensuring every supporter feels valued. Your day-to-day will include:
- Responding to supporter enquiries by phone, email and in-person, ensuring all queries are handled efficiently and with care.
- Thanking donors and personalising communications to build strong relationships and ensuring a positive and lasting first impression.
- Accurately recording and processing donations, and updating supporter records on our database.
- Supporting the delivery of fundraising campaigns, including creating timing plans, proofreading copy and assiting with briefs.
- Managing invoices and helping with campaign reporting.
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks.
- Working with colleagues and volunteers to deliver the best possible supporter experience.
What We’re Looking For

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and grow a new challenge events programme, as well as plan and execute key flagship events for Cherry Trees. Forest Peoples Programme (FPP) is an international NGO that has been working with Indigenous Peoples and forest peoples for 35 years since it was established in 1990. As of 2026, we work in 18 countries across South and Central America, Africa, and Southeast Asia, with over 50 partners based in the tropical forest belt. Role summary
Forest Peoples Programme (FPP) is recruiting a Fundraising Manager to enhance fundraising capacity and ensure long-term financial sustainability of the organisation. This new role has been designed to work closely with the Head of Programme Engagement, as well as programme and operational colleagues to increase income from philanthropic, bilateral and multilateral donors.
Location: Regular attendance at the Moreton-in-Marsh office preferred (e.g. once weekly), but remote or other hybrid arrangements may be possible for the right candidate
Hours: Negotiable for the right candidate. Part-time or full-time hours considered (no less than 3 days per week)
Responsibilities
- Proactively horizon scan for philanthropic, bilateral and multilateral funding opportunities that align with FPP’s mission and Strategic Framework Plan 2025-30.
- Take the lead in researching and assessing new multilateral funding opportunities and, if suitable, develop and implement strategies of engagement.
- Lead on researching, tracking and assessing bilateral funding opportunities and engagement.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of FPP’s country level and thematic work and related partner needs and aspirations.
- Working with colleagues in programme teams, lead the drafting of compelling, high-quality concept notes and multi-year funding proposals, including log-frames and budgets, aligned with funder priorities and organisational strategy goals.
- Lead on the project management of complex funding submissions – coordinating inputs from across programme, finance and administrative teams and ensuring comprehensive and timely submissions.
- Take an active role within the PCMT Fundraising subgroup in strategising, planning and delivering effective methods of engaging and strengthening relationships with prospective and current donors.
- Collaborate with Communications team colleagues to produce fundraising materials, and with the Monitoring Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) team to support the ongoing organisational MEAL process and the development of associated communications demonstrating impact and scale.
Person specification
Essential qualities
- Dedicated fundraising professional with a proven track record of successfully securing significant funding from government, multilateral donors and/or trusts and foundations. Exceptional writing skills with excellent ability to translate complex contexts and programme needs into compelling proposals.
- Alignment with the vision, mission and core principles of FPP’s work.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build authentic, influential relationships both externally with funders, and internally with colleagues.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to multiple deadlines.
Desirable qualities
- Existing contacts within relevant government agencies, multilateral donors and/or philanthropic organisations.
- French, Spanish or Bahasa language skills.
- Experience of fundraising for work in the same, or related, field to that of FPP.
- Experience of working with Indigenous Peoples and global south organisations and/or networks.
- Ability to come to the office in Moreton-in-Marsh both regularly and on an ad hoc basis as required.
- Ability to travel internationally (approximately 2 weeks per year, and unlikely to exceed a total of 5 days per trip).

About the Role
The Partnerships & Philanthropy Manager will lead all fundraising activity, including stakeholder partnerships and grant/trust income, overseeing a six figure annual income portfolio. We’re looking for a Community Fundraising Manager to join our ambitious Public Fundraising team, this is an new role within our Individual Giving Team.
You’ll have experience inspiring fundraising groups, delivering mass in-aid of fundraising products, and motivating volunteers and individuals to fundraise on our behalf. What you'll be doing
This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about inspiring donors, fundraising groups, and volunteers. You’ll play a key role in developing this new income stream with internal partners, organisation wide.
You’ll manage all areas of Community Fundraising, including supporter groups, in-aid of fundraising, and in-memory giving. You’ll identify levers to inspire donors, raise more money for critical conservation work, and create exceptional donor experiences. You’ll think across the lifetime of a donor’s relationship with us and collaborate with other teams to engage donors where they are.
Who we're looking for

- Experience developing mass fundraising strategies and growing six-figure-plus community fundraising income streams, including mass in-aid of asks, in-memory giving, and supporter groups.
- Strong project management experience, including using data, sector trends, and audience insight to develop marketing campaigns, compelling fundraising propositions, stewardship journeys, and lifetime value plans, with a view to connecting with diverse communities.
- Experience building strong relationships with external agencies and internal stakeholders (including supporter groups, volunteers, properties, and in-memory supporters) while ensuring an audience-first approach and championing Community Fundraising.
- Knowledge of six-figure-plus Community Fundraising product life cycles and experience delivering mass-scale fundraising budgets, including monitoring CPA, ROI, KPIs, and retention rates.
- Experience developing and implementing lifetime value journeys integrated with wider charity communications, including knowledge of donor motivations and segmentation, storytelling, and effectively communicating the charity’s mission and impact.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL HAVE
You will be a forward-looking and collaborative Head of Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships, a vital role as we enter an exciting new phase for the charity. You’ll be joining a talented and dedicated team focused on delivering our new and exciting strategy. As the Head of Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships you will inspire, and lead, income generation from corporate partnerships and philanthropists. Building on a step change, delivering ambitious future income growth. Working as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will also contribute to Missing People’s strategy and plans.
This key role will lead growing income streams currently worth a combined £1.1 million per year, plus an incredible ongoing partnership worth £1 million pa. The role’s focus will be continued growth at an even faster rate. You will lead a step-change in income that directly drives the charity’s ability to be there for people who are missing and those who love them.
You will lead and line manage established and high performing teams, creating the culture for them to deliver their very best. As a senior leader you will take a key role in department-wide development, culture, planning and delivery as well as influencing charity-wide and externally.
ABOUT YOU
If you are ready to bring your expertise in philanthropy and corporate partnerships to lead and vital fundraising at Missing People you will have:
• Significant experience leading growth (i.e. £500k increase) in income in both, or one of, philanthropy or corporate partnerships
• Experience of directly securing and managing high value support and partnerships
• Experience of successfully preparing others to also secure such support
• Experience of leading and developing high performing teams of fundraisers
• High level of experience of using Raisers Edge, or equivalent fundraising database

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Head of Partnerships & Events to join our highly successful Philanthropy team. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Fundraising & Communications to develop and enhance our Corporate and Special Events Programme. This is very much a hands-on role of team leadership and direct account management. This includes six figure partners and our key relationships with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, The Dorchester Hotel and international insurer Fidelis. Special Events include our Winter Ball which raises over £500k annual and our Golf Day at around £100k. The post-holder has a key role in the management of our Philanthropy & Corporate Board, which bring together industry leader to help move both these programmes forward. There is great freedom to innovate and a healthy pool of local business with an affinity to our cause. The post-holder takes a key leadership role across fundraising and marketing, working with their peers (Heads) and Director to take strategic decisions for wider benefit of the department. Having invested in the team’s capacity, we aim to grow income from c. £1.5m to £2m over the next few years. This in the broader context of a total voluntary income target for the charity of £5m-£6m.
The Head of Partnerships & Events leads a team of two currently, although this may increase. We have a Corporate Manager and Events Manger with support from the Philanthropy Officer. You will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective partners of Noah’s Ark. You will ensure our partners have the best possible experience, making them feel engaged and motivated, valued and informed about the impact of their involvement and help them achieve their organisation’s objectives.

This is a practical, hands-on leadership role at the heart of Richmond CVS’s work with local charities and community groups. The postholder will lead our support to voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations across the borough – helping them to grow stronger and more sustainable.
The main focus of the role is to strengthen the fundraising skills and income generation of local organisations, alongside providing high-quality advice on governance, planning and strategy. The role requires curiosity, creativity and strong problem-solving skills to help organisations find practical solutions to real-world challenges.
Richmond CVS already works with a range of experienced consultants and trainers and has an established suite of training resources. The postholder is not expected to be an expert in every aspect of charity management. A key part of the role is to coordinate and facilitate this support, drawing on specialist expertise where needed, while providing direct advice particularly in relation to fundraising and the fundamentals of good governance.

Organisational Support

In this hands-on delivery-focused role, the Head of Philanthropy will lead and grow Nucleo’s fundraising activity, taking personal responsibility for developing relationships with donors, partners and supporters to secure sustainable income for the organisation. The role combines practical income generation with some strategic planning: cultivating and stewarding a pipeline of high-value prospects, expanding networks, and delivering successful fundraising initiatives. About the role
We are looking to hire a Senior Fundraising Events Coordinator within Restless Development’s UK Fundraising team. The fundraising team’s income has grown year on year and there is huge potential to continue to grow this further and create impact at scale.
The Senior Fundraising Events Coordinator will be primarily working on the Schools Triathlon programme and managing all PR & social media comms, and also supporting on both merchandise and sponsor management. The Schools Triathlon is the UK’s largest fundraising and sporting event for children aged 7-13. Its aim is to encourage more children into sport while also teaching them the importance of fundraising. Over the years, the events have raised over £3.4m for Restless Development and local charities and over 9,000 children have taken part. We are aiming to deliver 15 events in 2026 and significantly expand the series..
We are looking for an energetic team-player, proactive individual with great interpersonal skills who is happy to learn and get stuck in.
Key responsibilities
Deliver and event manage high-quality Schools Triathlon events in 2026 and beyond
- Throughout September to February, present assemblies for the Schools Triathlon to inspire school-age pupils to sign up and take part in the Schools Triathlon series, and motivate them to fundraise by delivering a fun and engaging presentation.
- Develop strong professional relationships with various important stakeholders from host schools throughout the year, in person and online; as well as with participating schools through the delivery of assemblies and in comms prior to the event day.
- Work with our event delivery partners to deliver 15 events throughout April, May and June 2026, ensuring that the event logistics, host school requirements, participant details are finalised and managing host school relations.
- Respond to enquiries from parents and guardians on our dedicated inbox and mobile phone when needed.
- Develop a good working relationship with the Triathlon Committee, made up of Restless Development staff and volunteers, while still keeping the appropriate members informed and bringing in support as and when needed.
- Update on relevant KPIs and income where needed
- Support the Senior Fundraising Manager with recruitment of regional volunteers when needed
Schools Triathlon social media & PR
- Lead on all social media activity for the Schools Triathlon across our social media channels
- Lead on liaising with external PR and Host school stakeholders to deliver exceptional PR across the Schools Triathlon event series
- Lead on being the main contact for all Host School marketing teams, ensuring effective working relationships are in place and maintained to an excellent standard
- Report monthly on KPIs, ensuring effective tracking for social engagement across all channels
- Work closely with the Comms team, to ensure best working practices and collaboration is in place
- Together with the Head of Fundraising, lead on the drafting and development of the Schools Triathlon parent comms
- Manage the partnership with our events photographers
Sponsors
- Together with the Head of Fundraising, develop a sponsors partnership prospect list that aligns with our social values for year 2027 and beyond
- Lead on the project plan for our sponsors with support from the Head of Fundraising
- Set, monitor and report on the progress of KPIs and fundraising as and when needed
- Work with the wider team to plan and deliver an excellent stewardship journey for sponsors ensuring continued engagement
Systems, Processes & Communications
- Support the wider team with event comms responding in a timely and professional manner.
- Use DotDigital to communicate to schools and event participants
- Competent use of Excel to process data and regularly update internal and external databases.
- Manage the Schools Triathlon website, ensuring that it is up to date and relevant.
- Accurate and timely logging of information into Restless Development’s registration system Eventrac and CRM, Salesforce – executing mass imports, new individual records, and regularly cleaning data.
- Understand and manage fundraising using the digital fundraising platform, JustGiving, ensure all pages set up are logged on our CRM.
Other
- Must attend the Schools Triathlons as needed across April, May and June and other occasional evening and weekend work, for which time off in lieu will be given.
- Support on wider charity initiatives as and when needed
- Many of the schools we have relationships with are not accessible by public transport, so it is vital you have access to a reliable roadworthy vehicle. All travel will be reimbursed in accordance with Restless Development’s travel policy.

The Head of Corporate Partnerships, working closely with the Director of Corporate Partnerships & Philanthropy will lead a team of circa 40 people to deliver an annual income target of £15m through a wide range of employee-led fundraising, commercial partnerships and direct programme funding. The role will be responsible for growing and deepening support from existing partners and rapidly expanding a pipeline of new business opportunities, strengthening the connection between the private sector and how Macmillan deliver change, both locally and nationally.
