Barnabas International is a large family of Christian ministries and charities focused on
giving practical support to suffering, abandoned and persecuted Christians around the
world. The ministry was founded in 1993, and since then, it has funded projects in more
than 100 countries, providing hope and help to millions of our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Some of our key projects include supplying food aid, medical supplies, educational and
vocational training, Bibles, micro-enterprise, disaster relief, help for victims of violence,
and support for pastors and church leaders. Barnabas Aid also provides advocacy for
religious freedom, especially for persecuted and suffering Christians.
Barnabas is primarily a Christian ministry and a charity. Employees are expected to

Overview of the Regional Coordinator role and the team
The Regional Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing the mission of Barnabas Aid by
building and nurturing relationships with churches, Christian organisations, and
individuals. The role aims to raise awareness, prayer, and financial support for the
persecuted church, fostering a network of engaged supporters and expanding the
organisation’s outreach.
Main duties and responsibilities
Strategy Implementation and Reporting:o Develop and execute regional outreach strategies aligned with organisational
goals.
o Monitor and evaluate engagement initiatives, providing regular updates and
reports.
o Maintain accurate records of engagements and donor activities using internal
systems.
Prayer Mobilisation:
o Host regular prayer meetings (virtual or in-person) for the region.
o Disseminate prayer resources and stay updated on current prayer requests.
o Attend daily organisational devotions in-person or online, unless this is not possible
due to an event or meeting.
Awareness Raising:
o Speak at churches, schools, conferences, and community events to share
Barnabas Aid’s mission.
o Collaborate with churches and Christian networks to organise awareness events
and campaigns.
o Distribute resources and materials to inform communities about the persecuted
church and suffering Christians.
o Network widely and to explore potential partnerships.
Income Generation and Donations:
o Cultivate relationships with potential supporters and donors.
o Plan and execute regional fundraising initiatives, including events and campaigns.
o Encourage financial and other resource donations, ensuring effective donor
stewardship.
Volunteer Development and Engagement:
o Recruit (when possible) train, and mentor volunteers to support outreach activities
providing resources and regular communication.
o Coordinate volunteer activities to align with regional and organisational strategies.
Community Engagement and Networking:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with church leaders, mission committees,
and Christian organisations.
o Collaborate with other Regional Coordinators to share best practices and
coordinate efforts.
o Attend conferences and networking events to expand Barnabas Aid’s reach and
influence.
Event and International Collaboration:o Contribute to planning and attend national conferences, festivals, and events.
o Participate in international trips to meet project partners, witness project impact, to
assist or lead in auditing a project and share insights with supporters and
colleagues.
Operational Flexibility:
o Manage a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and extensive travel.
o Ensure tasks are completed efficiently, including additional assignments as
needed.

Role overview
This is an exciting opportunity to take a senior role in FILE’s high-performing fundraising team and secure support from some of the world’s leading foundations working in climate.
FILE is seeking an ambitious and experienced Philanthropic Partnerships Lead to lead relationships with significant funders and play a critical role in shaping and advancing FILE’s ambitious fundraising strategy. The Philanthropic Partnerships Lead will take the lead across a portfolio of existing donors and seek new funding opportunities from major philanthropic foundations.
The Philanthropic Partnerships Lead will work closely with the Head of Philanthropic Partnerships and FILE leadership to shape fundraising and donor stewardship strategies and drive fundraising success. They will be comfortable operating at the most senior level externally to devise and deliver excellent donor experiences, and adept at navigating complex internal environments.

Key Responsibilities will include:
Donor relationship management and stewardship
The Philanthropic Partnerships Lead will lead on several significant funder relationships, co-ordinating internally with FILE Leadership, the Head of Philanthropic Parnterships and strategic experts to devise and deliver excellent stewardship and donor experiences.
This will include:
- Setting donor strategy and creating and managing bespoke donor stewardship plans and communications
- Leading externally in face-to-face and virtual meetings, events and engagements and managing complex donor relationships across multiple stakeholders and workstreams
- Leading on key relationship touchpoints including performance and strategy reviews
- Liaising across internal cross-functional teams to plan and co-ordinate donor engagement at multiple levels

Cultivating new funder relationships
Securing new support is a critical organisational priority and the candidate will have the opportunity to forge new relationships with major funders.
Alongside FILE leadership and the Head of Philanthropic Partnerships, they will be responsible for identifying and progressing new pipeline opportunities and become the fundraising lead for specific thematic areas and initiatives.
This will include:
- Devising and delivering bespoke cultivation strategies for key donor prospects
- Devising new funding propositions and strategies for high-priority areas and new strategic initiatives
- Working with FILE leadership and strategy leads to delivering engaging cultivation, including through meetings, calls and written materials
- Actively progressing opportunities through the fundraising pipeline and leading on proposal development for target opportunities
Providing strategic support to the Head of Philanthropic Partnerships and leading cross-organisational projects and initiatives
The Philanthropic Partnerships Lead will provide strategic counsel to the Head of Philanthropic Partnerships to develop and implement the wider fundraising strategy and take the lead on strategic initiatives such as:
- Designing and implementing an approach to communications planning and delivery, including through the creation and management of key communications content
- Designing, scoping and initiating new donor engagement products and experiences for most senior stakeholders

Key Competencies and Person Specifications
- The ideal candidate will be a senior relationship and stakeholder manager with demonstrable experience working in philanthropy, high-value funding or other senior relationship management roles.

- They will have experience in securing and managing 7 figure funding relationships and be confident working at the most senior level externally.
- They will have significant knowledge and experience in the foundation/ philanthropy sector, ideally in the climate or environmental space.

- They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident in leading on compelling proposals and pitches, turning complex and technical information into engaging donor content and experiences.

The Role
As a key member of IIED’s Strategy and Leadership Council (SLC), the Director of People will play a critical role in driving organisational transformation, embedding our values and supporting a collaborative, high performing culture across our globally distributed team. This is a key role within Learning and Work Institute, with responsibility for delivering high quality research, analysis and evaluation across learning, skills and employment.
Day to day duties:
- Design and deliver high quality research, analysis and evaluation, to time and budget. Researchers will work on a wide range of mixed methods research and evaluation projects across the learning, skills and employment sector.
- Manage small projects and lead on elements of large projects.
- Develop and implement appropriate research methodologies and methods, evaluation strategies and research tools. Projects generally include a mixture of quantitative and qualitative methods, such as semi-structured interviews, focus groups, evidence reviews, surveys, analysis of management information and secondary data analysis.
- Develop and manage systems for gathering, recording, analysing and presenting data from a range of projects for maximum impact.
- Contribute to the production of high-quality research, policy and evaluation reports, interpreting evidence in a way that is accessible to a wide range of audiences.
- Disseminate research findings through written reports, media articles, blogs and presentations. Communicate the work of L&W through print and broadcast media. Represent L&W at events and external meetings.
- Support income generation by contributing to the preparation of funding proposals and responses to tenders.
- Undertake project administration and coordination tasks related to research activity.
- Supervise interns, associates and temporary staff, as required, including possible line management responsibility for research interns.

Main purpose of post
• Provide direct support to people affected by cancer by meeting in
person with or providing digital or telephone support to people using the
service (patients/clients, carers, relatives, professionals).
• Provide high quality information and support within defined level of
competence in relation to cancer. This will include assessment of service
users’ information and support needs (Holistic Needs Assessment/Cancer
Care Review), provision of written or verbal information, supportive
listening and action planning to facilitate self-management.
• Manage referrals from clinical teams in a timely manner, liaising with
clinical teams, primary care teams and community partners where
necessary.
• Provide care coordination around the individual to ensure their
experience of support feels seamless and is transparent, including
support from partner agencies.
What you do
Delivery of information and support to people living with and beyond cancer
and their families
• Provide information and support within level of competence of the post
(Macmillan Levels of Intervention Criteria L1,2,3,4; NICE approved four tier
model of psychological support Level 1, 2 & 3).
• This will include:
• Assess the needs of individuals attending / contacting the service and
identify the required level of intervention.
• Support users sensitively to help them understand clinical information
they have been given (e.g. around diagnosis, treatment, effects of the
illness and treatment, cancer terminology), helping to resolve situations
where users feel they have been given conflicting information. This will
include addressing concerns and queries and working to resolve them and
the ability to recognise and work within the limits of own competence and
responsibility is crucial, referring issues beyond these limits to relevant
people.
• Understand that there will be frequent exposure to distressing/ highly
distressing situations and deal with difficult and highly emotive situations
in a sensitive manner and base decisions on own professional judgement.
• Deal with service users with complex enquiries or support needs, or who
need help in accessing or understanding information, referring to
appropriate members of the wider clinical team (CNS, oncologist) when
appropriate or signpost them to other supportive services.
• Liaise with clinical staff to support patients and carers in distress.
• Demonstrate a high level of skill acquired through relevant training or
equivalent experience whilst demonstrating awareness of the limits of own
practice and knowledge and when to seek appropriate support/ advice.
• Provide supporting information around topics such as reducing the risk of
cancer, healthy living, diagnosis, treatment options, side effects and living
with cancer, in the most appropriate format (e.g. written, verbal, and others

• Provide advice on a range of issues e.g. benefits, travel insurance, and
facilitate access to services e.g. specialist benefits advice, complementary
therapy.
• Liaise with relevant staff at all levels as appropriate both within the charity
and externally to address issues identified, and seek advice with more
complex issues, directly involving others where necessary, e.g. Clinical Lead
(HCP), Cancer Information and Support Advisors, Head of Cancer Support
Services; Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS).
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of effective relationships
with partner organisations in primary and secondary and the voluntary the
sector via networking, also giving talks and presenting at relevant groups.
• Plan and deliver ‘pop-up’ information clinics, ensuring these pop-up clinics
are evaluated.
• Lead the development and delivery of courses and workshops.
• Lead peer support groups and service-user involvement.
Operational Delivery
• Collect and collate data regarding contacts with people who use the
service both in person and by telephone and produce reports of activity as
required.
• Plan and organise events and displays externally liaising with departments
and agencies as required.
• Lead discrete projects or service improvements under direction of the
Head of Cancer Support Services
• Work flexibly to deliver the objectives of the cancer support service,
including attending events and outreach sessions across South Yorkshire,

As an Income and Housing Officer you will help to maximise the organisation's rental income collection,n effectively manage rent arrears and deal with other breaches of the occupancy agreement.
What you'll do:
* Take responsibility for maximising rent collection across a defined patch of Look Ahead's portfolio of properties ensuring that rent collection targets are met and tenancies sustained
* Advise operational teams on their support related arrears management activities, including holding local surgeries with tenants and staff, taking direct control of higher level and more complex arrears cases
* Proactively monitor all current and former accounts within the defined patch and make recommendations to the Housing Manager for appropriate former accounts to be written off or referred to Look Ahead's debt collection agency
* Ensure that the rent collection function is carried out both sensitively and in a timely fashion so as to avoid the build up of excessive arrears and record all case details accurately.
* Ensure that all sign ups within the defined patch are done accurately on the correct type of tenancy and at the correct rent and service charge levels.
* Prepare files and documents for legal action and present cases in County Court hearings for possession claims, money judgements

At Cranstoun, we are always in search of talented and experienced individuals to join our team.
Our Vulnerable Adult Lead Worker service provides targeted housing, health, wellbeing and social support to vulnerable citizens over the age of 25 in the city. The service works alongside other housing, health and social support service providers within Birmingham City Council’s Vulnerable Adult Housing Pathway; the Pathway is designed to help vulnerable citizens avoid homelessness, reduce harm, live healthier and more independent lives, and integrate into their local communities.
Our Vulnerable Adult Lead Worker service provides interventions to help citizens to sustain their current accommodation if it is at risk and/or source alternative accommodation if they are unsuitably housed. We also provide support and work alongside key partners to help citizens address other social related issues, such as benefit/welfare reform processes, helping to maximise people’s incomes, signposting to relevant primary and secondary health care services and more.
The citizens we support will be experiencing several current and/or historic health and social complexities, including substance use, poor mental health, a history of homelessness, an offending history, and may have been excluded from other services, or risk being excluded from services. Our Vulnerable Adult Lead Worker service provides flexible, personalised, community-based support and interventions to citizens for up to two years.
Citizens will be offered face to face and virtual interventions based on risk, need and citizen preference. Lead Workers can expect to deliver their interventions from citizen’s homes, community venues, our office base and from home, utilising our hybrid-working service design.
