An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Retail Van Driver & stock Collector to join the Retail team. Your role is to ensure the careful movement, collection and delivery in liaison with Shop Managers, of all merchandise within a dedicated boundary as directed by the Retail Operations Manager.

Role Requirements
Minimum age 21 or Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) holder for Insurance purposes.
- Responsible for the collection and delivery of donated goods to the required location within agreed timescales and to agreed targets.
- To provide delivery and collection service to external stock generation sites through Donation Stations.
- To undertake bag drops and collections as required.
- To maintain strict control of security of all goods collected, transported and delivered.
- To ensure minimum losses are incurred on goods and furniture by the careful and respectful handling of all such items.
- Role will involve a large amount of heavy lifting in picking up and moving stock including furniture.
- To support maintenance of multi-site storage of stock belonging to The Children’s Trust
- Transportation of rubbish and unwanted items to recycling centre or refuse site as appropriate.
- To ensure customer care and quality of service.
- To act as the representative of The Children’s Trust in the collection from and delivery to customers of donated goods and furniture.
- To liaise with shop managers over the movement of stock between shops as directed by the Retail Operations Manager.
- Training of Volunteer Van/Driver Assistants where necessary
- Provide all relevant training and development to the Volunteer

Role Requirements
· Develop and maintain an effective clinical governance framework that supports safe and high-quality care.
· Facilitate regular clinical governance meetings to discuss performance, incidents, and quality improvement initiatives.
· Ensure that clinical pathways and practices are aligned with best practice guidelines and evidence-based standards.
· Lead initiatives to enhance patient safety across all services, promoting a culture of transparency and reporting.
· Implement and maintain the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF), ensuring that learning from incidents is captured and shared.
· Monitor and report on patient safety metrics, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring appropriate action plans are developed.
· Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and experiences.
· Lead quality impact assessments for new initiatives or changes in practice, evaluating potential risks and benefits and manage the organisational governance in relation to these.

The Finance Officer is responsible for supporting the delivery of accurate financial and administrative services at Support Dogs. Working closely with the Finance Manager this role ensures compliance with legislative requirements and supports the smooth operation of the charity.
Specific Duties:
- Process orders for goods and services on behalf of the Charity ensuring that appropriate authorisation is in place
- Enter and check invoices onto Sage 50 Accounts
- Ensure that all invoices are duly paid and remittances processed
- Check and process staff and volunteer expenses
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
- Support the Finance Manager with payment schedules
- Manage the petty cash
- Input credit card purchases and reconcile credit card statements
- Prepare spreadsheets to enter income onto Sage and CRM, from bank statements and remittance reports from online payment platforms, ensuring that all income is correctly recorded
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Support the Finance Manager in preparation of monthly management accounts
- Respond to accounts and financial queries from staff and volunteers
- Any other duties comparable with the grade and level of responsibility of this post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training

More about the role
Our beautiful centre opened in 1988 and occupies approximately three acres of land in a discrete location surrounded by fields where we can walk our dogs, providing some wonderful enrichment in a quiet environment. The centre has facilities to care for dogs and cats, as well as a specialised area for kittens.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring exceptional care for both pets and clients while identifying efficiencies and making decisions that prioritise offsite pet welfare. As the leader of our home-based pet operations, you’ll oversee the smooth running of our foster and home direct services, placing pets directly from one home to another, with experience in practical animal handling and assessment. Your goal will be to prepare pets for adoption as quickly and effectively as possible. You’ll work closely with your team to ensure timely pet assessments, behaviour management, and training, while providing full support to foster carers and current owners.
You’ll also be responsible for achieving pet-related targets, ensuring your team of Pet Welfare Assistants and Foster Coordinators maintain the highest standards of animal care and adheres to national processes in case management. Teamwork is essential to address the most urgent cases effectively.
Motivating and managing your team is central to this role, enabling the centre to provide top-quality home-based pet care while helping your team develop professionally.
At our Southampton rehoming centre, we provide onsite accommodation for pets in our care 24/7. Overnight shifts are usually undertaken by team members who live on site. Occasionally you will be expected to carry out night checks when the resident team members are either not working or away for a period of time.
This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week and you will be required to work 1 in 3 weekends.

Our coordinators plan, arrange and deliver a programme of activities shaped around the needs of the young people, making the most of local opportunities, from heritage sites and outdoor adventures, to sports, arts and crafts, cooking, and team challenges. These sessions help children build friendships, grow in confidence, and express themselves in a fun, supportive space.

Family days bring families together to create special memories and enjoy time with others who share similar experiences. The coordinator develops and facilitates activity days which involve the whole family and provide opportunities to build friendships and connections with others. Applicants should have relevant experience of working or volunteering with children and young people in education, health or social care, and have exceptional organisation and communication skills.
The roles are 30 hours per week, working Wednesday to Saturday. In school holiday periods, more activities take place on weekdays (instead of Saturdays), so flexibility is needed.

We're Level Water, a founder-led charity solving learn-to-swim for disabled children. We're not your typical charity. We own our events and run them like a business. We equip pools and leisure providers across the UK to deliver specialist swimming lessons for children with disabilities.



Action for Conservation is a UK grassroots charity using innovative approaches to inspire and empower young people from diverse backgrounds, between the ages of 12 and 24, to become the next generation of environmental leaders. In 2019, we launched our flagship Penpont Project on a 2,000-acre estate in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), Wales. The Penpont Project is the largest intergenerational nature restoration project of its kind in the world, aiming to demonstrate how youth leadership and ambition can advance nature’s recovery at a time of acute ecological crisis.
We are currently looking for a Community Tree Nursery Coordinator to join the Penpont Project and run our Community Tree Nursery, growing trees from native tree species, including trees of conservation and heritage value, through collaborative learning and community-building activities. The focus of the role is as much on intergenerational learning and community engagement as it is on the processes of tree rearing and producing trees for planting out across the landscape. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with good knowledge of tree planting, growth and care, and a passion for working with young people and communities. Please be aware that this is a physically active role, and you should be willing to work outdoors most of the time.

What you will do
- Look after the day-to-day running and maintenance of the Tree Nursery together with our partners.
- Grow native tree species to use as stock for tree planting at Penpont, with types and quantities of trees to be determined based on project needs and what we can hope to achieve through volunteer action and educational events.
- Engage young people and the local community around Penpont with the Tree Nursery through a variety of events and activities, supporting them to grow their skills, knowledge and confidence related to trees, and ensure there is a solid volunteer base to support the nursery’s operation.
- Be responsible for the general coordination of Tree Nursery events and manage all relevant administration and logistics.
- Support monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) activities as relevant to your role to understand the impact of our work and facilitate learnings.
What we are looking for
- Experience of working with young people, ideally aged 12-18 and community volunteers and proven ability to engage, motivate and support people from diverse backgrounds and age groups
- Good horticultural knowledge, from selecting seeds to growing and nurturing tree stock, including traditional growing techniques; knowledge related to woodlands and forest ecosystems is desirable
- Experience of organising and running events and activities from start to finish, including liaising with stakeholders, managing logistics, health and safety and safeguarding
- Proven ability to facilitate stimulating, interactive and inclusive youth/community group sessions, especially practical activities in an outdoor setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills and ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, partners, young people and other stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and time management skills and ability to prioritise effectively to meet deadlines
- A proactive and self-reliant approach to work, ability to work independently, problem-solve and take initiative to achieve results
- Good IT skills, including using Google Workspace applications (e.g. Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc.) or similar
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the role as well as willingness to work outdoors in all seasons/weathers and to work outside of usual office hours
- Fluency in Welsh is desirable

About the role:
As a Hub Team Leader you will ensure the delivery of excellent services to victims, both adults and children and young people, in accordance with the service specification and performance targets. You will support and manage operational staff, to ensure that the overall objectives of supporting clients is achieved.
You will work collaboratively with the Operations Manager/ Management Team, to achieve the implementation of the business plan and the development of the service to maximise positive outcomes for clients.
Youwill focus on performance management of direct line reports including the allocation/auditing of cases; collation of service performance reports; measuring KPIs; setting performance targets and undertaking quality compliance. This role will also lead on the development and delivery of training and information packages to a wide range of audiences and will be responsible for managing some of these key relationships.
You will help to support the Operations Manager in delivery of training and information presentations across a range of stakeholders both in person and online. This may require substantial travel and overnight stays

About you
We’re looking for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our HR Operations team, working remotely to support leaders across our UK-wide Pet Hospitals, retail stores, and support functions. About the Role
As an Independent Visitor Coordinator, you will:
- Deliver a statutory Independent Visitor service to children in care and care leavers.
- Recruit, assess, train and support volunteers who become long term, trusted befrienders for young people.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, volunteers, and key professionals.
- Champion a child led approach, ensuring young people’s wishes and feelings drive every decision (except where safeguarding concerns arise).
- Work collaboratively across Coram Voice and with partner agencies.
- Take independent responsibility for leading and supporting our volunteers, while working in partnership with the Children’s Rights Manager to support accurate reporting and contract monitoring.

We are seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer with a proven commitment to survivor-led practice, outstanding organisational leadership capability, and relevant therapeutic competence, to provide strategic and inspirational leadership for the organisation’s future.
Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service (LSLCS) exists to provide compassionate, person-centred, trauma-informed crisis support to people across Leeds and West Yorkshire. Founded in 1999 by individuals with lived experience of mental health crisis, the organisation has grown to deliver a range of services for adults, children and young people while remaining rooted in survivor leadership and empowerment. LSLCS has a long history of innovation and excellence; receiving multiple national awards.
The CEO holds overarching responsibility for the current service provisions, with the support of operational directors and service managers. LSLCS challenges and shapes current practices; aligned with the needs of those accessing crisis services, with a strong emphasis on gaining and reviewing service user and team feedback to inform decision-making. The CEO must be able to review feedback openly, regularly and with genuine curiosity in shaping the future of the organisation.
The CEO provides strategic leadership to ensure that LSLCS continues to deliver high-quality, values-led crisis services. Working closely with the Board of Trustees, the CEO ensures the organisation operates in alignment with its survivor-led ethos, trauma-informed principles, and person-centred philosophy. The post-holder champions the mission of LSLCS, strengthens its culture, and maintains the organisation’s reputation as a trusted and innovative provider of crisis support.
The CEO must ensure that the organisation’s governance is compliant with Charity Commission requirements, contractual obligations and all other relevant legislation and guidance, and works closely with the Operations Director (Central Services) to ensure the organisation’s financial sustainability and the appropriate, responsible use of its resources.
