About the role
The Chief Operating Officer at GLAN will play a crucial role in steering the team in the successful implementation of the charity’s organisational strategy, and will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day smooth running of the organisation – in order to build a sustainable, compliant, resilient and well-governed organisation.
The ideal candidate
We are looking for an experienced leader with a proven track-record of delivering financial oversight and overseeing complex budgets and projects to completion in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who possesses excellent people skills, who is emotionally intelligent and can guide a dynamic team remotely.
The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for the delivery of core services and will manage a core team of staff to deliver Finance, HR, Fundraising, Communications and Governance.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a similar role, with in depth understanding of how charitable, purpose driven organisations operate. You must have excellent leadership skills, a solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics, financial planning and budgeting skills, and an advanced understanding of business planning, budget and project management.
Key Responsibilities
Senior Leadership
- Lead the Senior Leadership team in the implementation of our revised organisational strategy 2027-2030.
- Ensure organisation-wide financial oversight and operational business planning.
- Provide guidance and support to GLAN’s team.
- Deputise for the CEO when necessary and take ownership of high-level decision-making.
Operational oversight
- Maintain operational oversight so that legal, advocacy, funding and finance align with GLAN’s organisational strategy.

Financial oversight
- Oversee financial operations: budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, expenditure controls, financial reporting, payroll.

About the Role
Last year Smart Works Leeds hit an important milestone when they supported over 1000 women with their coaching and dressing service. Over the next 12 months and beyond, there are plans to grow the service even further and ensure that all unemployed women located in Yorkshire are aware of the transformative service available to them at Smart Works.
The Fundraising and Partnership Lead will focus on the corporate and stakeholder partnership fundraising activity, supporting the Head of Fundraising to generate a six‑figure annual income portfolio. The role involves identifying, approaching and converting new corporate prospects into engaged funding partners aligned with the charity’s cause and objectives.

About the role

This Role’s Impact:
As CRM and Systems Lead, you’ll be responsible for the design, development and ownership of TLG’s Power Platform solutions, with a focus on Dynamics 365 configuration, Power BI reporting, and Power Automate workflows. This role bridges user needs with technical delivery, ensuring digital tools are intuitive, scalable, and aligned with organisational goals. You will lead the development of user-centred digital solutions and play a key role in shaping TLG’s data strategy and digital transformation, enabling TLG to scale innovation across programmes and giving our teams the tools to move fast with confidence.

Role Overview
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with CleanupUK on a fantastic Trusts and Philanthropy Fundraising Lead role. This is a key member of the income generation team, responsible for securing funding from trusts, foundation, Lottery and other non-corporate grant-making sources to support their work in deprived communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing existing and future annual workplans, complemented with your own input into maximising CleanupUK’s revenue from trusts, foundations, The Lottery and other appropriate sources
- Raising the non-corporate annual budgeted fundraising revenue
- Managing the part-time freelance Local/Regional Trust and Foundations Fundraiser to help them maximise their revenue

- In conjunction with the Chief Executive, nurture the key existing funder relationships
- To develop strong and close relationships with new key trust and foundation funders

Person Specification
- Experience in trusts and philanthropy fundraising, ideally within the charity sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft creative and compelling proposals from diverse programme areas.
- Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
- Proven track record of securing 5 and 6 figure gifts from trusts, donations, lottery, statutory or major donor fundraising
- Organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.

The Loop delivers high quality, accessible, evidence-based and evidence-making drug checking services and to disseminate harm reduction information to individuals, service providers and policy makers. This is for the purpose of creating a safer society where everyone can access accurate, timely, and relevant information to make more informed decisions about drugs.
The Communications Lead will ensure that we are able to extend the reach and understanding of harm reduction related to drugs and alcohol. This post will ensure The Loop expands its profile and presence, capacity and response, to maximise the opportunities to communicate harm reduction messages and information, raises the awareness, access and understanding of drug checking, and engages stakeholders and members of the public.
This will require the postholder to:
- Coordinate and increase the capacity of The Loop to effectively communicate related to our aims and purpose
- Develop and disseminate social media content, in collaboration with colleagues across The Loop
- Work with partners of The Loop including press and media to further the profile of The Loop for strategic benefit and greater reach to the public.
You will be motivated to assist in the development and delivery of The Loop and possess knowledge of drugs-related harm reduction approaches including messaging, with related or transferable experience in communications. You will contribute and be part of a passionate team of staff and volunteers determined to further introduce drug checking and related harm reduction interventions across the UK.
