Drive fundraising growth for a well-established humanitarian aid charity, developing corporate partnerships, community fundraising, individual giving and events that turn support into practical help for people in crisis.
About Goods For Good
Founded in 2014, Goods For Good is a UK humanitarian aid charity that works with businesses to redistribute new surplus, overstock and quality seconds to charity partners supporting people in crisis in the UK and overseas. Clothing, footwear, bedding, toiletries, hygiene products and other essentials reach communities that need them, while usable goods are kept out of landfill.
We are entering a period of transition and growth under our recently appointed CEO, Jo Godsmark. We are now looking for an experienced Fundraising Manager to strengthen our fundraising and help deliver the charity’s next phase of development.
The Role
Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the development and delivery of an organisation-wide fundraising strategy and annual plan, with responsibility for agreed income targets. You will grow income through corporate partnerships, community fundraising, individual giving and fundraising events, while strengthening donor journeys, stewardship and the effective use of our Beacon CRM.

About You
You will be an experienced fundraiser with a strong track record of delivering fundraising growth, including responsibility for generating six-figure annual income. You will bring demonstrable success in donor stewardship and in developing income through corporate partnerships, community fundraising, individual giving, campaigns or events.

Interested candidates should submit an up-to-date CV and cover letter and answer the three competency questions posed in the application process. The cover letter should outline candidates' motivation for the role and how their experience aligns with Goods For Good’s mission and future goals. The Belay Foundation supports adoptive, kinship and special guardianship families raising children who have experienced early developmental trauma, often alongside neurodiversity. Founded in 2020 from lived experience, Belay offers something many families struggle to find elsewhere: practical, in-home support and expert guidance that’s genuinely trauma-responsive, delivered by people who understand what these families are living through.
Why now? - Belay has just spent a year strengthening its foundations - redesigning services, building organisational capacity and setting an ambitious growth plan. The groundwork is done. What we need now is a permanent CEO with the vision to take a small, high-impact charity and turn real momentum into lasting change - for families and for how the sector understands and responds to developmental trauma.

You’ll lead fundraising and income diversification, shape Belay’s public voice and ensure the organisation’s trauma-responsive, DDP-informed model continues to deliver real impact as it scales.
This is a rare chance to take the helm of an organisation with an innovative model, a loyal community and genuine room to grow - and to leave your mark on how the UK supports some of its most vulnerable children and families.
