The Fundraising Lead will act as a specialist professional, leading on the development and delivery of the Head to Toe's engagement and communications activity that supports the charity’s strategic objectives, reputation and profile.

Working within Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT), the role will provide expert advice and delivery across campaigns, partnerships and stakeholder engagement, ensuring the charity’s messaging is consistent, impactful and aligned with CPFT and Head to Toe branding and values.

You will support the development and delivery of a varied and ambitious fundraising programme. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with experience in fundraising, charity events, or income generation who is looking to take the next step in their career.

You will be responsible for delivering a programme of income generation and engagement events, helping to grow support and raise awareness of Head to Toe, and the support that we provide CPFT NHS services across the region. This includes building partnerships and creating meaningful opportunities for people and organisations to get involved.

You will be involved in a wide range of activities – from writing funding bids and supporting major campaigns, to delivering events and building relationships with supporters, clinicians, and partners. No two days will be the same.

About the role:

We are looking to appoint a Family Support Manager on a full-time basis (35 hours, 5 days per week), to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Greater Manchester Care Team to families in the local area, at a time where they need it most.

Reporting to the Head of Care out of our Greater Manchester base and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for delivering a high-quality family support service; and will act as the local Registered Manager for the Care Quality Commission, providing management and leadership to the team in relation to all safeguarding issues.

Having worked regularly in a demanding and emotional environment, within the community, you have a commitment to working in partnership with children, young people and their families, developing, monitoring and delivering service outcomes and building and maintaining successful professional partnerships to ensure the service is accessible to relevant families.

Other information

The role will involve regular travel across England, Scotland and Wales to raise the organisation’s profile and engage with members, partners and key stakeholders.

There is flexibility on your location given the requirement to travel and that your office will be home-based. You will need to travel to in-person quarterly team meetings (usually in London or the north of England) and to Board meetings which alternate between online and London.

It is expected that travel will be by public transport and easy access to the rail network is therefore required to ensure journeys can be made sustainably. 

This is a full-time position, 37 hours per week. We use a flexi-time system with core hours 10am-3pm, and are committed to being a flexible, supportive and understanding employer. This is a permanent position with a probationary period of three months.

Sheffield Cathedral is inviting applications for the role of Community Organiser, a new post within the Cathedral Resourcing Project, at an exciting moment in the Cathedral’s mission, civic life and partnership with communities across Sheffield.

This new role is for a relational, disciplined and justice-minded organiser who can listen deeply, build trust across difference, identify and develop local leaders, and help people move from shared concern to collective action. Working in the Citizens UK tradition of broad-based community organising, the Community Organiser will help embed organising across the Cathedral, its parish partnerships and its civic relationships, contributing to the co-creation of Sheffield Citizens Alliance.

We’re looking for an experienced trade union organiser to lead campaigns, grow our membership, support activists and deliver outstanding representation.

The role

Our 1,200 staff work across 12 UK regions and our national centre in London. Regional offices support the work of local branches, helping to represent, recruit, organise and retain members, as well as making key contributions in areas such as campaigning, strategies for negotiation and bargaining, and actions against discrimination.

As a Regional Organiser, you’ll be playing a hands on, day to day leadership role, as well as acting as an advocate of the union. Guiding, supporting and developing local branches and activists to ensure the strongest possible workplace organisation, you’ll identify activist training and development needs, provide coaching and mentoring to stewards and branch officers, and manage a small team of area/local organisers. Additionally, you will lead negotiations, represent members individually and collectively, and help branches to develop effective systems and processes for handling casework.

What we’re looking for...

• An understanding of our movement, its pressures and drivers, with a passion for equality.

• Ability to provide advice and guidance on the effective organisation of key branch duties (eg maintaining membership density, activist base enhancement, supporting employers with major restructuring, maintaining confidence in union ability to influence outcomes, oversight of case work and reducing response times).

• Good knowledge of key employment law, including developing case law and upcoming changes that may affect members.

• Good understanding of the political landscape and how this might impact our approach.

• Ability to manage a team of staff, with a willingness to collaborate and to lead by example.

• Excellent communication and advocacy skills, with proven ability to manage high level negotiations and representation of cases in challenging situations.

• Ability to build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, ability to influence and engage at all levels eg activists, democratic bodies/committees.

• Strategic project management experience, including budget management. Ability to develop strategies and solutions to solve complex problems.

This is a field based role and you will need to be able to travel in and around the South West region, including to our regional offices in Bristol, Exeter, Taunton and Poole, as required and occasionally to London for training, meetings or other purposes. Project Coordinator – Mobile Dignity Hub, South-West England 

Job description 

This is a role based in the South-West of England, working across the region to deliver a new mobile refugee clinic. The Project Coordinator is responsible for setting up and running the pilot project: coordinating a rented van, a small cohort of trained volunteers, and a rolling programme of visits to areas where people seeking asylum have been dispersed. The primary services will be dependent on the availability of other services in the local area but are non-specialist advice and referrals, and the distribution of welcome packs, clothes and hygiene items. The Project Coordinator can be based anywhere across the South-West.

The mobile model exists because widening dispersal is moving people seeking asylum further from city-centre services, often to rural areas with little existing support infrastructure. Fixed premises are a poor fit for many people's reality – low incomes, limited transport, childcare, language barriers and poor health can make a city-centre appointment practically inaccessible. This project takes support to where people are, building trust through co-hosting with local organisations and the use of refugee peer supporters. 

The Project Coordinator will work closely with the CEO and Back Office, collaborating on volunteers, budget management, partnerships and the development of the project. This role starts part-time (3 days per week) and is expected to increase to full-time (5 days per week) from January 2027. Role specification 

Setting up and running the mobile clinic: 

• Lead the practical set-up of the pilot: sourcing and maintaining a rented van, developing a network of partners across the South-west to coordinate operations and facilitate storage 

• Plan and deliver a rolling weekly/monthly rota of visits to different areas where people seeking asylum have been dispersed, working towards the target of 200 members served in the three-month pilot (800 in the first six months). 

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of non-specialist advice and referrals, and the distribution of welcome packs, clothes and hygiene items, ensuring services operate efficiently, safely and in line with organisational procedures. 

• Create and keep up to date a directory of local support services (health, legal, housing and other) so members can be referred accurately and quickly. 

• Identify and monitor the evolving needs of members and suggest new or improved ways of working to best serve the communities the project works with. 

• Identify and realise purchases needed to run and develop the project. Pay suppliers or ensure the Back Office knows when to pay. 

• Undertake any additional ad hoc tasks or responsibilities as directed by the CEO to support the effective running of the project. 

Member support: 

• Assess member needs and identify local service gaps to ensure relevant and suitable support is provided. 

• Support members to access and enrol with appropriate service providers through effective referral pathways. 

• Collect monitoring and evaluation data on what and how the project is delivering, including member feedback. 

Volunteers and safeguarding: 

• Recruit, welcome, train and manage a small team of volunteers, ensuring everyone is well supported and clear on how to help members within eligibility criteria. 

• Ensure all volunteers, visitors and any other relevant party understand and adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures, including photos/media. 

• Manage safeguarding, including reporting concerns, incidents and disclosures immediately. 

• Ensure a safe environment for members, volunteers and visitors, maintaining appropriate health and safety standards on the road and at any partner venues. 

Partnerships and stakeholder management: 

• Develop partnerships with local organisations across the South-West (including hosting arrangements at hubs and other venues) to build trust and extend the project's reach. 

• Maintain and nurture relationships with partners through clear, timely communication and attendance at relevant meetings. 

Budget management, reporting and accountability: 

• Manage and keep to the project budget. 

• Ensure careful management of financial resources and account for all expenditure on Xero. 

• Maintain regular communication with the CEO and Back Office, responding to queries and carrying out tasks as required, including participating in regular meetings. 

• Contribute to a full evaluation of the pilot project to inform decisions about extension or expansion to other areas. 

Essential Criteria 

• At least two years' experience (paid or voluntary) working with displaced and/or marginalised people. 

• Ability to stay calm and work under pressure in a highly emotional environment. 

• Very clear communicator, able to lead and motivate a team of volunteers and clearly enforce rules. 

• Understanding of professional boundaries. 

• Ability to stay emotionally resilient and practise self-care while remaining compassionate to the needs of others. 

• Proven ability to improve services within limited resources. 

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and tech literacy in general, most importantly with Excel, Teams and digital file management. 

• Eligibility to work in the UK. 

• Strong spoken and written English is essential. You must be confident working in a multilingual environment where not everyone shares the same language. 

• A full, valid UK driving licence, and confidence driving a large van. 

• Willingness to travel regularly across the South-West of England and to work outside the formal hours of 9am–5pm occasionally, as the work demands. 

• Understanding of the UK asylum system and dispersal policy. 

• Knowledge of the South-West of England, particularly Dorset and Bournemouth. 

Desirable 

• Interest and knowledge of the NGO sector and humanitarian movements in the UK and Europe.

Offered Benefits

Barnabas Aid is recruiting an exceptional leader to serve as Regional Director for Asia. This is a senior leadership role within the International Programmes Team, sitting on both the Programmes Leadership Team and the Strategic Leadership Team, and offering an outstanding opportunity to shape how BAI serves persecuted and suffering Christians across one of the world’s most complex and spiritually significant regions.

The Asia region spans South Asia, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia — some of the most sensitive and complex contexts in which Barnabas Aid works. Many of the communities we serve face active persecution, operate in restricted environments, and depend on the careful, sensitive stewardship of their relationships with BAI and our partners.

This is an extraordinary opportunity for a strategically minded, relationally gifted Christian leader to shape how BAI serves the persecuted Church across one of the world's most complex and spiritually significant regions.

The Role

The Regional Programme Director — Asia will provide strategic leadership for the development and delivery of Barnabas Aid's grant making and project management across the Asia Region. You will lead and develop a team of Programme Managers, build and sustain a strong partner network, and oversee a portfolio of high-quality, biblically grounded projects that deliver measurable impact for persecuted and suffering Christians.

As a member of both the Programmes Leadership Team and the Strategic Leadership Team, you will contribute to BAI's global Programmes strategy and to organisational strategy, culture, and effective cross-departmental working.

Key Responsibilities

Regional strategy and portfolio leadership

• In collaboration with the International Chief Programmes Officer, lead the development, review, and implementation of the global Programmes strategy within the assigned Region, translating strategic priorities into a clear regional plan and pipeline.
• Maintain a balanced regional portfolio aligned with organisational priorities, donor intent, and restricted fund requirements.
• Identify emerging needs, risks, and opportunities in the Region and recommend strategic responses, including new initiatives and partnerships.
• Ensure that the Region is balancing its portfolio of Programmes according to the Country Classification framework.

Grant making and programme cycle management

• Oversee the end-to-end grant making process for Programmes in the region, ensuring proposals are assessed, costed, and approved in line with delegated authority, Gate processes, and Programmes Subcommittee requirements.
• Take lead responsibility for one sub-region and/or a portfolio of countries, leading on partner engagement and the whole project management cycle.
• Ensure robust needs assessments, project design, logical frameworks (where applicable), budgets, partner due diligence, risk assessments, and monitoring plans are in place before grants are committed.
• Oversee project implementation across the regional portfolio, including milestone tracking, reporting, learning, and close-out, ensuring records are maintained accurately and on time.
• Proactively identify project delivery issues and work with team members and partners to resolve them promptly.
• Maintain proficiency in the use of all systems and processes used to manage the workflow of the team.
• Work closely with the Programme Quality Team to ensure best practice standards, continuous improvement, and consistent application of policies, processes, and templates.

Leadership and people management

• Support the staff in the regional team by providing clear leadership, coaching, and line management, including goal setting, supervision, performance management, and development.
• Ensure capacity planning across the Region so that project management workloads are realistic and risks are appropriately managed.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning for the regional team, contributing to wider Programmes Team workforce planning as required.
• Deputise for the international Chief Programmes Officer when requested to do so during their absence
• Ensure Regional team members plan overseas trips appropriately and adequately, always factoring in security and safeguarding risks.

Partner engagement and external representation

• Ensure the regional team builds and sustains a strong partner network, with relationships that are effective, mutually accountable, and aligned with Barnabas Aid's mission and values.
• Develop and implement a plan for regular partner engagement and capacity building (including visits where appropriate and safe) to strengthen project delivery, monitoring, and safeguarding.
• Represent Barnabas Aid professionally with partners and other stakeholders, managing sensitive information and security considerations appropriately.
• Engage proactively with peer organisations and networks to bring insight on sector best practice into BAI's work.

Cross-organisational collaboration and governance

• Work closely with Outreach and Support departments to provide timely, high-quality project information and updates that enable supporter communications, fundraising, and reporting.
• Contribute to organisational planning and decision-making through active membership of the Programmes Leadership Team and the Strategic Leadership Team (as applicable).
• Prepare quality papers, dashboards, and narrative updates for internal decision-making meetings and governance forums as required.

Compliance, risk, and safeguarding

• Ensure compliance with Barnabas Aid policies and external requirements relevant to grant making and project delivery, including data protection and information security.
• Maintain effective regional risk management, including project, partner, fraud, security, and reputational risks, escalating issues promptly and recommending mitigations.
• Champion safeguarding and ensure safeguarding considerations are integrated into partner due diligence, project design, implementation, and reporting.
