Job purpose
To champion the vision and mission of Advocacy In Greenwich (AIG) by building strong partnerships with community organisations and local authorities; and by developing and delivering impactful initatives for people with learning disabilities and autism. Strategic Oversight
- Lead the development and delivery of Advocacy In Greenwich’s strategy in collaboration with the Board of Trustees, staff, consultants (including those with lived experience), beneficiaries, and stakeholders.
- Implement the Charity Excellence Framework to drive continuous improvement.
- Foster a supportive and innovative working environment where all employees are encouraged to contribute ideas for AiG’s growth.
- Build and maintain strong networks with local authorities, healthcare professionals, funders, and partner organisations (including neighbouring CEOs and leadership teams) to share best practice, coordinate initiatives, and advance opportunities for people with learning disabilities and autism.
- Ensure strategic partnerships enhance AiG’s reputation, maximise opportunities for service users, and maintain consistent standards of advocacy across the borough.

Operational Responsibilities
- Regularly update and maintain organisational policies and procedures, developing new ones as needed to meet project requirements.
- Create and update resources to support both new and existing projects.
- Maintain a professional presence and reputation both internally and externally.
- Manage and support all staff and volunteers, ensuring effective team performance.
- Translate strategic objectives into clear, achievable operational plans, ensuring all team members understand their roles and deliverables to meet funding requirements.
- Oversee robust monitoring and evaluation processes, collecting data, testimonials, and stories to demonstrate impact and fulfil contractual obligations.
- Support staff, volunteers, and consultants to understand and meet funder criteria.· Implement staff appraisal systems and ensure ongoing training and professional development
- Uphold best practice standards to maintain high-quality service delivery.
Governance
- Ensure the Board of Trustees can fulfil its duties and that Advocacy In Greenwich remains fully compliant with all legislation and reporting requirements.
- Provide timely and accurate reports to the Board on all matters within their remit.
- Work with the Chair to develop and deliver an effective induction programme, ensuring trustees understand their roles and responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of the Annual Report and statutory accounts.
- Lead the development, monitoring, and implementation of the charity’s Risk Register, ensuring risks to AiG and its beneficiaries are minimised.
- Take lead responsibility for safeguarding across the organisation.
- Ensure all staff, volunteers, consultants, and trustees have access to training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Personal Development
- Engage in regular supervision to support your own professional growth and reflective practice, ensuring the continued quality and stability of the organisation’s services.
- Provide regular supervision and conduct staff appraisals, supporting staff wellbeing, performance, and professional development across the team.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning by identifying and supporting relevant training and development opportunities for staff, volunteers, and consultants, who are people with learning disabilities and autism employed on zero-hour contracts.
Other
Undertake any additional duties appropriate to the scope and level of the post as required by the Board of Trustees.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team working to tackle youth homelessness.
This role is funded by the Oak Foundation and forms part of Coram’s Voices in Action programme which combines CCLC’s legal work, Coram Voice’s advocacy support and Coram’s policy and participation work to champion young people’s rights and create change. It centres and amplifies the voices of young people through our young ambassadors with personal experience of homelessness or school exclusion. The young ambassadors campaign locally and nationally to change policy and practice and empower their peers with knowledge of their rights through workshop delivery and content creation.
Working with others across the group, the purpose of this specific role is to provide specialist housing law advice, preliminary casework and onward referrals to young people under the age of 25 experiencing housing related issues. This will include delivering regular outreach advice sessions in partnership with community organisations. The post holder will work with the Head of Community Care Law on project design, co-ordination, delivery and reporting. Supported by the Head of Community Care Law, they will be proactive in developing community partnerships and managing relationships with partner organisations.
The role will be integrated within the wider community care and public law team and will be supported by the Head of Community Care Law. Building on the existing expertise and practice within the team, there will be a particular focus on advising and supporting young people who are care experienced, should have benefited from care or are young migrants. The aim is to diagnose complex legal issues relating to housing and homelessness, to ensure young people understand their position and legal rights and are either supported to take steps to realise those rights, provided with preliminary casework to resolve issue at early stage, or where needed, referred on for complex casework and litigation either internally or externally.
The role would suit an experienced housing law advisor or caseworker. We welcome applications from solicitors and non-solicitors. The priority is experience delivering high quality housing law advice and casework sensitively to vulnerable clients with a track record of delivering against project targets and meticulous case management skills. We are looking for a committed, resourceful and determined housing law advisor with a positive and solutions focussed attitude who is able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. They will be well supported with access to training, supportive line management and will benefit from being part of a wider collaborative legal practice team. They will work closely with a paralegal and be responsible for helping to develop the paralegal’s knowledge and understanding of housing related law.
The role will be based in our offices and with regular advice delivery in outreach locations. However, some remote/ hybrid working may be possible depending on the experience of the candidate after the initial settling in period. There may be flexibility over how the three days will be spread across the week (within working hours) and in accordance with the needs of the project.

Key tasks & responsibilities
Income generation
· Use your skills, creativity and experience to develop our income generation strategy
· Develop ideas for creative sponsorship and funding opportunities, putting together and submitting proposal and tender documents; identifying suitable partners; presenting proposals and closing deals
· Converting pilot and seed-funded contracts to longer-term sustainable contracts e.g. current Postcode Lottery agreement in the North-East converting to a long-term contract with North-East and North Cumbria ICB (more information to this can be given at interview stage)
· Support drawing up and negotiating contracts and ensuring delivery
· Work with stakeholders and our internal team to scope and develop exciting new opportunities
· Develop and steward fundraising and donor relationships in order to increase income
· Deliver on agreed income targets
Partnerships and Networks
· Build and maintain a network of strategic key external contacts that can support Advantage Mentoring’s work. Stakeholders will be from private, public and third sector groups. Take an active role in representing Advantage Mentoring to appropriate Trusts and Foundations
· Develop a work plan for private sector and philanthropic engagement to achieve a joined up and coherent approach to engaging with commercial organisations across multiple outcomes (financial, brand awareness, influencing policy and support-in-kind)
Communication, marketing and external relations
· Work with Communications colleagues to create materials that will attract new strategic partners, for example highly targeted work aimed at specific sectors being clear about the value of partnering with Advantage Mentoring
· Represent Advantage Mentoring with external audiences (in the media, at events, in meetings with senior stakeholders)
Strategic Leadership
· Develop and implement Advantage’s income generation strategy and policies, as a part of the Leadership Team
· Ensure that partner organisations understand and commit to our values
Management
· Oversee the business development pipeline and ensure that enough proposals are being submitted to make the achievement of income targets probable
· Provide income generation information to the Managing Director and participate in Executive Team meetings and Board meetings

· Monitor digital income streams to ensure they are effective and opportunities are secured
· Work in collaboration with the communications team to build brand awareness, and promote income generation and impact developing content for key messaging, PR, and branding materials to support effective marketing of the organisation
· Design and develop key income generation materials to enhance our external visibility including extending our profile via submissions for awards and recognition programmes
· Plan and support events for awareness raising and dissemination of our work
· Ensure systems and processes for managing data comply with the organisation’s data protection obligations, charity law and GDPR

About the role
Since 2018, the LRU has grown its membership to over 6000 renters across London. Through our six branches, we support renters to take action to transform the housing system. Organising in communities, the LRU runs training, facilitates peer support, takes collective action and campaigns on local issues, to grow our power.
The purpose of this role is to support the growth and collective leadership of our branch members in and around the Lewisham branch. This work will support the union’s fundamental goal of transforming the housing system, in alignment with our values and strategy agreements. About KCSC
KCSC is the recognised voluntary sector ‘infrastructure’ organisation, also known as a Council for the Voluntary Sector (CVS), for the borough. Our members are voluntary and community groups and organisations serving residents of the borough. At KCSC we support organisations like these through the provision of news, training, advice and information. We also facilitate the voice of the local voluntary and community sector (VCS) and represent the sector at a strategic level.
Main purpose of the role
- To provide administrative support in the running of KCSC’s office and activities.
- To maintain accurate attendance records on the database and update and maintain membership details.
- To provide administrative support to social prescribing programme My Care My Way using Charity Log.
- Respond to general enquiries from service users and the general public as required.
Events/Training
- Lead on supporting the delivery of KCSC events, training workshops and KCSC’s Annual General Meeting. Take meeting actions and sending out pre-event and post-event communications.
- Use the CiviCRM database, website and other media to promote and publicise KCSC's external events to encourage maximum take up.
- Produce feedback forms, collate data and support the team with monitoring and reporting.
Communications

- Coordinate and facilitate the Wellbeing and Resilience Mentor (WaRM) Network, which supports local voluntary sector staff and volunteers to deliver high-quality money guidance and referrals for residents experiencing financial hardship.
- Liaise with key national partners, including the Money and Pensions Service (MaPs) and Feeding Britain, and act as a central point of contact for Kensington and Chelsea’s voluntary and community sector (VCS) around financial wellbeing resources.
- Promote access to training, funding and networking opportunities that support organisations working with people at the sharpest end of the cost-of-living crisis.
Support for Health & Wellbeing Programme – My Care My Way
- Manage the NHS Self-Care email inboxes.
- Process all referrals to the Self-Care Programmes via Charity Log in a timely and accurate manner and ensure all appropriate information is received. Liaise with referrers and providers if information is insufficient.
- Act as the key point of contact for referrers and the contracted providers with regards to referrals.
- Provide Charity Log training and support to providers and partners.
- Use data collected on Charity Log to make recommendations on service-delivery changes and payments adjustments and carry out changes once approved.
- Support Project Officers with monthly monitoring when required.
General
- Promote the role of KCSC and support its overall aims and activities.
- Utilise KCSC’s website and social media as a tool for communication with stakeholders as required.
- At all times, work within KCSC’s policies and procedures.
- Receive regular supervision from the line manager for the role and attend training courses as required.
- Work outside of normal office hours on occasional evening or weekends as required.

We’re looking for a Housing Night Concierge to be the friendly and reassuring on-site presence across our supported accommodation services (owned or leased by Julian House). You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of both our buildings and the people within them, helping to create a calm, supportive environment overnight.
This role is perfect for someone who’s confident working solo, has great attention to detail, and genuinely cares about maintaining positive relationships within the community. Every shift is an opportunity to support vulnerable individuals and be part of something meaningful.
What you’ll be doing:
- Be a reassuring on-site presence, ensuring the safety and security of our supported accommodation through the night and weekends.
- Conduct regular building checks and patrols to monitor safety, maintenance issues, and ensure a calm environment.
- Monitor any CCTV and respond to any concerns or incidents in line with policies and procedures.
- Keep a clear and accurate log of events and activities during each shift.
- Support smooth transitions between shifts by providing details verbal and written handovers.
