Job Summary
Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity is a small charity with big ambitions. We support brain tumour patients and families across Yorkshire and fund pioneering research in our region.
Every partnership we build helps us reach more people affected by brain tumours, raise vital funds and increase awareness of the support available to families across Yorkshire.
We are now looking for an ambitious and relationship-focused Corporate Partnerships Manager to develop and grow our relationships with businesses and organisations across Yorkshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships, spotting opportunities and turning conversations into successful, long-term partnerships. You will lead on developing new corporate relationships while providing excellent stewardship to our existing supporters, helping businesses find engaging and mutually beneficial ways to support our work.
You will also contribute to the charity’s marketing and communications activity, working collaboratively with the Community Fundraiser and wider team to share compelling stories, promote campaigns and events, increase awareness of our services and strengthen YBTC’s profile across Yorkshire.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the next stage of YBTC’s growth. You will have the freedom and flexibility to develop new ideas, build influential relationships and see the direct impact of your work. As the organisation continues to grow, there will be opportunities to develop and progress within the fundraising team and wider charity.

Your contractual place of work will be your home address. The role will involve travel across Yorkshire to meet corporate partners, attend events and develop new relationships. You may occasionally be asked to attend our Leeds office for team meetings, training or specific organisational needs. Such visits will not form part of a regular working pattern.

Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Partnerships & Relationship Management
- Develop and grow income from corporate partnerships across Yorkshire
- Identify and secure new corporate supporters, including Charity of the Year and other partnership opportunities
- Build strong relationships with businesses and organisations across the region
- Maintain and grow existing corporate relationships to maximise engagement and income
- Create tailored proposals, pitches and partnership opportunities that meet the needs of both YBTC and prospective partners
- Deliver excellent stewardship, ensuring corporate supporters feel valued, engaged and connected to our work
- Develop a strong pipeline of prospective and existing corporate partners
Business Development & Income Growth
- Proactively identify businesses and sectors with the potential to support YBTC
- Develop creative opportunities for businesses to fundraise, sponsor, donate and engage their employees
- Develop sponsorship opportunities for charity events, campaigns and initiatives
- Work towards agreed corporate fundraising targets and contribute to wider fundraising team objectives
- Monitor and report on corporate partnership activity, pipelines and income
Marketing, Communications & Storytelling
- Work collaboratively with the Community Fundraiser and wider team to support the charity’s marketing and communications activity
- Develop engaging content and stories that showcase our impact and inspire businesses and supporters to engage with YBTC
- Contribute content for social media, newsletters, website and other communications
- Support the promotion of fundraising campaigns, events, corporate partnerships and organisational activity
- Help promote YBTC’s support services across Yorkshire to increase awareness, referrals and engagement
- Ensure communications are consistent with YBTC’s brand, values and key messages
PR & External Engagement
- Identify opportunities to raise YBTC’s profile through local media, business networks and external partnerships
- Build relationships with relevant external stakeholders, networks and organisations
- Support PR activity, including local media, radio, features and partnership stories
- Represent YBTC confidently at networking events, corporate meetings and external events
- Support awareness campaigns that increase the visibility and reach of the charity
Campaigns, Events & Fundraising Support
- Work collaboratively with the Community Fundraiser to maximise the reach and impact of fundraising campaigns and events
- Support the development and promotion of corporate fundraising opportunities linked to YBTC campaigns and events
- Attend corporate events, presentations, networking opportunities and supporter activities
- Identify opportunities for businesses to become more deeply involved in YBTC’s work
Other
- Ensure all fundraising activity is compliant with relevant regulations and best practice (including the Fundraising Code of Practice)
- Maintain accurate records of corporate relationships, opportunities and activity
- Attend team meetings and contribute to a positive, collaborative culture
- Contribute to wider organisational objectives and activities
- Undertake occasional evening/weekend work to support events, partnerships and fundraising activity
Person Specification:
Knowledge & Experience
Essential:
- Experience of developing and managing relationships in a fundraising, business development, sales, account management, partnerships or similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage and inspire a wide range of people
- Experience of developing new relationships and identifying opportunities
- Ability to create persuasive proposals, presentations or pitches
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and relationships
- Strong written communication skills
- Confident using IT systems including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Desirable:
- Experience of corporate fundraising or partnerships within the charity sector
- Experience of securing Charity of the Year or corporate partnership opportunities
- Experience of marketing, communications, PR or social media
- Experience of supporting fundraising campaigns or events
- Experience of working with CRM systems

Founded in 2003, Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity provides vital support to brain tumour patients and their loved ones, whilst also funding innovative clinical research in our region.
We fund innovative research and provide vital support to patients and families across the region. Around 15 people are diagnosed with a primary brain tumour in Yorkshire every week.

We’re excited to be recruiting for a key leadership position supporting Oasis’ youth and community work in the North West region (covering delivery in Greater Manchester and Bradford).With accountability to the Oasis Community Partnerships CEO the role of the Regional Youth and Community Director has three main functions:
1 Strategic management oversight of local Youth and Community teams
2 Regional development, working alongside other functions within the Oasis family
3 Being part of the national Youth and Community leadership team
The Youth and Community Director will have strategic management oversight of local Youth and Community teams in the region, providing accountability and support to the local leaders and charity boards. OneSky is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to manage our corporate and foundation partnerships outside of Asia. The Director of Partnerships is a seasoned international NGO fundraiser and an excellent communicator and collaborator. - Work with Finance, Communications, Program and MEAL staff across the organization to ensure accurate and consistent messaging in all OneSky funding proposals and reports.
- Ensure funder engagement benefits and deliverables are met or exceeded within the required timeframe.
- Establish consistent use of the CRM function of Salesforce to track pertinent donor and prospect information, cultivation, and stewardship.
- Represent OneSky at regional industry conferences, meetings (virtual and in-person), program site visits, and fundraising events.as required.
- Monitor and provide regular updates to leadership regarding fundraising strategies, activities, prospects, progress, and revenue.
- Undertake any additional fundraising activities that may be necessary and compatible with the nature of this role.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- At least 5 years’ experience in generating significant income from foundations and corporate partners for nonprofit purposes
- Demonstrated success in developing and stewarding long-term philanthropic partnerships
- Experience working across cultures and managing stakeholder relationships in multiple countries
- Superior project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to making the world a better place for young children

Location: Remote, resident in mainland Britain

About the Role
The Senior Partnerships Officer (SPO) will work closely with the Chief Executive (CEO) and Fundraising Lead (FL) to ensure the charity has sufficient funding to achieve its mission. This primarily involves developing new donor relationships and partnerships to grow fundraising income streams. The fundraising strategy focuses on high-value grants, gifts and partnerships. We recognise that the lines between major donors, corporate partners and family foundations are often blurred. Therefore, the charity have chosen not to silo work in this way and instead have created a new role focused on developing new relationships across all these income streams. The focus of the role is on ‘winning new business’ and will suit an entrepreneurial candidate with experience in business development, and/or building new corporate or philanthropic partnerships.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- New business development - acquiring prospective donors and partners
- Solicit gifts
- Relationship management & stewardship
- Be part of the Beaver Trust fundraising team
About You
You will be entrepreneurial and a self-starter, driven to build a network of meaningful relationships with prospective donors and supporters. Able to work independently and make decisions with little supervision.
You will have:
- Excellent prospect research skills, and an understanding of the motivations of donors and how to use this insight to create persuasive propositions and deliver compelling pitches.
- Experience of successfully developing new major donor/client relationships or corporate partnerships, either in a charity or business environment.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and be able to interact confidently and persuasively in a range of settings with existing and prospective major donors and partners.
- Experience of representing an organisation’s interests and advocating for them.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to move donors, supporters and partner organisations along a donor journey, from initial contact and relationship building to soliciting a donation and ongoing stewardship.
- Knowledge of all relevant fundraising, data protection and other regulations.
- Resilience and be a problem solver, able to withstand negative reactions and find solutions.
- The ability to think strategically and translate ambitions into actionable plans and delivery.
- Highly competent IT skills, preferably Google Workplace, and high standards for visual content.

The Role
Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the development and delivery of an organisation-wide fundraising strategy and annual plan, with responsibility for agreed income targets. About You
You will be an experienced fundraiser with a strong track record of delivering fundraising growth, including responsibility for generating six-figure annual income. You will bring demonstrable success in donor stewardship and in developing income through corporate partnerships, community fundraising, individual giving, campaigns or events.
You will be a confident relationship-builder who can influence and engage others, manage competing priorities and maintain a clear focus on results. You will also be comfortable using a fundraising CRM and performance data to improve supporter relationships, monitor progress and inform decisions.

Job Title: Philanthropy Officer
We're looking for an organised, proactive Philanthropy Officer to support our work engaging high-net-worth individuals and the wealth advisers who refer them to our work, maintaining a strong pipeline of partners and donors.
You'll support prospecting and, where appropriate, outreach and relationship management across wealth adviser partnerships, helping to grow our referrals and giving channels. Alongside this, you'll help coordinate the logistics and admin behind our Planet Adviser Network, helping build and sustain the pool of wealth advisers collaborating with us.
On the HNW side, you'll support contact mapping across GRP's donors, contacts and Board to help identify high-net-worth individuals and families, and support relationship management with them when appropriate.
