About the Role

Join us as a National Programmes Administrator and help drive the smooth delivery of our Education, Training & Employment, Money Management and Client Involvement programmes. You’ll coordinate grants, placements, mentoring activities and digital learning resources, ensuring clients can access opportunities that build confidence and independence. With strong organisational skills and attention to detail, you’ll manage programme data, produce clear impact reports, maintain efficient systems and research external support agencies to strengthen our national directory.

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll support client engagement activities, manage communications with professionalism and keep programme operations running seamlessly. This role is perfect for someone proactive, adaptable and collaborative—someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is motivated by helping people make positive, lasting change.

Please note that this role is offer as a part time (15 hours per week) permanent basis. The appointed person will be based in our Manchester Office.

Key deliverables:

• Support with the administration of grants to clients

• Provide organisational and administrative support in the coordination of the volunteer mentoring, client placement project, client representative role, alumni role and other client involvement initiatives.

• Research and collate information pertaining to external agencies and services to support Depaul clients in their progression.

• Build and maintain strong partnerships/engagement within the Programmes Team

· Collate performance, value and impact information, and generate reports to evaluate and demonstrate the value of the programme delivery

· Support and promote client engagement activities to meaningfully engage clients and keep service colleagues aware of client involvement work.

• Produce regular reports, case studies detailing client engagement and participation with the programmes

• Manage and monitor inbox communications, responding promptly and professionally while providing detailed support, and proactively flagging any areas of uncertainty to the manager for guidance.

• Work collaboratively to identify and share relevant, interesting, and useful information for the monthly newsletter that benefits colleagues and staff.

Your Development

• In conjunction with your Line Manager to continuously develop the role to ensure that all tasks are being undertaken in an effective and appropriate manner which meets the strategic aims and objectives of Depaul UK

• To participate in regular supervision and annual appraisal, and help in identifying your own job-related development and training needs.

In the 1980s, high unemployment and steep inflation was contributing to a shocking rise in youth homelessness across London. Thousands of young people were sleeping rough every night, with many areas notoriously dubbed “cardboard cities” due to the visible rise in street homelessness. Appalled by the scenes playing out across the capital, a group of people came together to tackle the challenge head on. Led by Cardinal Basil Hume and Mark McGreevy OBE, in 1989 Depaul UK was born.

What began as a single housing project in North London soon expanded across London, Greater Manchester and the North East of England. Today, Depaul UK provides accommodation, prevention and support services to thousands of marginalised young people across the UK each year.

We are looking to recruit experienced Family Support professionals to provide these virtual support sessions to individual family members and sometimes groups. We are offering a number of roles at 15-20 hours per week, across 3-5 days, including Wednesday and at least 2 evenings per week (Mon-Wed).

Experience in supporting family members affected by someone else’s substance use is essential, as is experience with assessing and managing risk. Ideally, you would also have experience of working to support parents with their parenting and / or those experiencing domestic abuse. We offer fixed hours part time contracts within a friendly and supportive team. Whilst based at home and requiring the ability to work autonomously, Adfam prides ourselves on our supportive team ethos and working culture.

About the opportunity

As a Finance Business Partner, you'll work alongside budget holders across Alzheimer's Society, turning complex financial information into clear insights that support better decision-making. In a role where every pound matters in the fight against dementia, you'll help ensure our resources reach the places they can have the most impact, whether that's funding groundbreaking research, delivering vital support services, or campaigning for systemic change.

You'll build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, providing the financial analysis, challenge and support they need to navigate complexity with confidence. Through coaching and partnership, you'll help budget holders strengthen their own financial capability, so that sound financial thinking becomes part of how the Society operates, not something that sits only within Finance.

You'll be part of our Finance and Assurance directorate, where our vision is to be the Society's single point of truth. Working within the Financial Partnering, Planning and Analysis function, you'll be the dedicated finance partner for our Income and Engagement directorate, connecting Finance with the teams responsible for growing and protecting the Society's income. You'll translate their plans into sound financial frameworks that enable our mission rather than hold it back.

You'll already have or be open to developing a deep understanding of how fundraised, legacy and restricted income flows through the Society, and you'll use that specialism to add real value to the teams responsible for growing and stewarding our income.

About you

You're a finance professional with proven business partnering experience who understands that effective partnering means combining accurate numbers with clear communication, constructive challenge and a genuine interest in helping others see the bigger picture. You're comfortable working across boundaries, building relationships at all levels, and coaching colleagues to develop their financial confidence.

You'll have:

- A relevant professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), either fully or part qualified, or qualified by experience.
- Experience supporting business teams with budgeting, forecasting and month-end processes, including ensuring appropriate controls are in place and financial performance is communicated effectively and on time.
- A track record of applying analytical skills to provide financial advice that supports strategic decision-making.
- Experience of identifying and collecting feedback and other data to inform quality improvement and to monitor the performance of processes or tools.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and present it in a way that tells a clear story.
- The confidence to challenge, negotiate and influence, while taking a balanced view that incorporates different perspectives.
- Experience working with ERP systems. Experience with Unit4 would be particularly valuable, though it is not essential.

It would be particularly valuable if you also bring:

- Experience partnering with income-generating, fundraising, marketing or engagement functions within a non-profit or charity setting.
- An understanding of restricted fund accounting and the financial management of legacy income.

We are looking for someone who is strategically minded and passionate about using the law to advocate for the rights of, and directly improve the lives of, families in poverty. The ideal candidate will be a solicitor (E&W qualified) with substantial post-qualification experience. You will have experience of conducting public law litigation and legal aid (publicly funded) work. You will be able to supervise the casework of colleagues, such as CPAG’s junior or trainee solicitor(s) and welfare benefit advisers, and support the professional development and wellbeing of your team. You may have experience of working with clients in vulnerable situations or with additional needs, for example, survivors of domestic abuse, refugees, disabled people or children and young people.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in helping Crisis secure the income needed to end homelessness. Working across a portfolio of new and existing grant funders, the postholder will build strong, strategic relationships that lead to five and six figure gifts and long-term support. It is a role that calls for someone bold in pursuing new opportunities, confident in communicating the complexity of homelessness, and motivated by the chance to turn insight and evidence into funding that makes a real difference. Alongside managing relationships, the postholder will develop compelling proposals and reports of a high standard, ensuring every approach is aligned with Crisis’s long-term goals and grounded in the impact our work can achieve.

The role is also deeply collaborative and equitable in scope. Success will depend on working closely with colleagues across Crisis, including service heads and frontline teams, to identify funding opportunities, gather robust information and shape cases for support that reflect the realities of homelessness and the voices of people with lived experience. The postholder will help create a rewarding and respectful experience for supporters and bring a thoughtful, inclusive approach to relationship management and decision-making. In this way, the role combines income generation with partnership-building, high standards with accountability, and day-to-day fundraising with Crisis’s wider commitment to fairness, co-production and lasting systemic change.

About The Role

You’ll support people living with dementia and their carers in your local area, offering guidance, reassurance, and practical help. Your role will include home visits, phone support, liaising with professionals, managing your own caseload, and helping with new referrals.

What you will be doing

- Building trusted relationships with people living with dementia and their carers across the East Riding
- Offering personalised information, advice and emotional support
- Visiting people at home, supporting by telephone and linking in with GP surgeries
- Taking part in the triage rota to ensure new referrals are handled with care

About The Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Officer to join our thriving Events Marketing team. If you enjoy creating meaningful marketing campaigns, working collaboratively, and using data to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you’ll help plan and deliver primarily digital, multi-channel marketing campaigns that inspire people to take part in our sports, challenge, and mass participation events. Your work will play a direct part in growing our community of supporters and increasing the impact we can have for people affected by dementia.
About the team
You’ll be part of a close-knit team made up of a Senior Marketing Manager, two Event Marketing Campaign Managers, and three Marketing Officers. You’ll report to one of the Marketing Managers and work alongside colleagues across the wider Events team and Income and Engagement directorate.
Your marketing campaigns will bring new participants to our events, and you’ll also be involved in retention strategies to cross-sell our supporters into other fundraising products to build lasting relationships and help them discover other ways to get involved.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll collaborate with teams across the organisation, as well as with our media agency and external partners, to plan, brief, optimise and evaluate marketing campaigns. You’ll keep a close eye on performance and organise evaluations to make sure that we learn as much as possible from every campaign and continuously improve what we do.
You’ll take ownership of your campaign budgets, including setting and tracking spend carefully and working with colleagues to make the most of every pound we spend. You’ll share updates on performance and flag any opportunities or challenges early, helping the team stay on track and maximising the return on investment wherever possible.
Creativity is a big part of the role too. You’ll write engaging marketing copy, research ideas for campaign creative, and work with designers to bring those ideas to life. After each campaign, you’ll pull together insights and recommendations to help shape future activity.

JOB TITLE:HR Coordinator

LOCATION:                        Great Horwood, Buckinghamshire (minimum 4 days in office per week)

Medical Detection Dogs trains dogs to save lives.

We train specialist dogs to detect the odour of human disease, providing life-saving Medical Alert Assistance Dogs to people with complex health problems across the UK and collaborating with NHS Trusts and other researchers and Universities both in the UK and internationally to advance the early diagnosis of disease with our Bio Detection Dogs.  We have an exciting new opportunity to join this small, but ambitious charity that is a world leader in its specialist innovative field.

MAIN PURPOSE & SCOPE OF THE ROLE:

The HR Coordinator will provide specialist and proactive support to other departments within the charity to ensure organisational compliance in all relevant areas relating to HR.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Reporting to the People Engagement Manager, you will be supporting the Charity to set and deliver on its People Strategy. You will be responsible for providing operational HR services, advice, and guidance with a primary focus on HR transactions, employee relations management, engagement, recruitment and performance management.  You will identify, analyse and utilise HR data to inform decision making and identify more efficient ways of working.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• You will lead the development and implementation of a best practice approach to recruitment.
• You will advise managers on best practice techniques for monthly one-to-one meetings and annual appraisals to ensure staff feel confident to openly discuss challenges as well as successes.
• You will review and update our existing HR policies and procedures, ensuring they not only comply with current HR law but importantly promote best practice.
• You will also work with the senior leadership team to develop a set of organisational values that prioritise equality, diversity and inclusion and reflect best practice, ensuring these are then communicated to all staff, volunteers, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities of the Role

• Maintain all HR policies and procedures ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect relevant legislation and best practice.
• Ensure managers and staff are aware of and understand policies and procedures, communicate changes, and provide support to managers when interpreting policies as required.
• To work in collaboration with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team in leading Medical Detection Dogs towards our vision of becoming a staff-centric charity.
• Provide an efficient service to deliver HR transaction activities throughout the employment lifecycle, from offer to off-boarding.
• Provide support, guidance, and advice for managers in conducting and concluding employee relations cases, including absence, performance management, disciplinary and grievance cases, ensuring adherence to policy.
• Manage, maintain, and deliver the charity’s onboarding induction to new members of staff.
• Always maintain the highest levels of discretion and confidentiality.
• Be a role model within the charity demonstrating MDD’s values and behaviours at all times.
• Monitor completion of performance appraisals and one to one meetings, issuing reminders and offering support to managers as required.
• Coordinate and support the delivery of employee engagement surveys, including planning, analysis, reporting and follow up actions.
• Produce regular HR reports and people data metrics for the Senior Leadership Team (e.g. turnover, tenure, sickness absence trends, performance outcomes).
• Maintain and update the HR system (Breathe HR), ensuring employee records are accurate and up to date.
• Prepare and submit monthly payroll changes to the finance team in line with payroll deadlines.
• Manage staff benefits including the health cash plan, life assurance, pension scheme and long service awards.
• Produce and circulate internal HR communications such as staff newsletters, HR updates and policy changes.
• Coordinate and support learning and development activities, including booking and maintaining training records and delivering HR related training for managers and staff (e.g. one to ones, appraisals, HR systems).
• Assist in developing employee engagement initiatives.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Experience & Qualifications

Essential

• CIPD Qualified and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role or currently undertaking the qualification.
• Employee relations (e.g. performance, absence, disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, etc) case management in line with current UK employment legislation
• Management of end-to-end recruitment activity, supporting hiring managers and focussed on candidate experience
• Excellent interpersonal, networking and communication skills
• Experience of managing relationships with staff at all levels

Desirable

• Experience of reward and recognition practices
• Experience of managing and inspiring staff, including encouraging innovation and improving ways of working to build a resilient and high performing team culture that delivers results
