An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Placement Officer to join our Business Commissioning and Placements Team, on a twelve-month fixed term contract starting in October 2026. The role of Placement Officer is to provide high quality support to all placement, admission and discharge processes associated with all children’s placements.

Role Requirements

· Circulating enquiries/referrals, coordinating assessments, gathering information from internal and external counterparts and formatting, and circulating Referral Screening Reports alongside Referral Manager in preparing for placements.

· Coordinate admission planning tasks including arranging parental accommodation, putting together welcome letter and parental agreement, informing reception, and updating relevant spreadsheets.

· Drafting and circulating pre-admission commissioning paperwork such as ICB letters and funding applications.

· External liaison with parents, referrers, and funders to ensure they are kept updated throughout the pre-admission process, alongside the Referral Manager.

· Supporting with in-person and virtual tours for children and their families directed by Placement Managers.

· Provide cross cover to main aspects of Placement Manager or Referral Manager role short-term, if required e.g. sickness, annual leave.

· Minute taking of meetings (including but not limited to complex discharge/transition planning meetings), and distribution of minutes within timely manner following meeting.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Head of Operations will play a central leadership role within RLSS UK, ensuring the charity operates effectively and efficiently. Race Against Dementia is seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Senior Partnerships Officer to support the delivery of our ambitious fundraising strategy. You will play a key role in managing and developing partnerships that generate income and increase global awareness of our work.

Working closely with the Strategic Partnerships Lead, you will support the stewardship and growth of corporate and strategic partnerships, with an additional focus on international fundraising and partnership development. You will help identify and cultivate new opportunities across priority markets, including the USA, Switzerland and other emerging regions.

Formula 1 remains our flagship global partner, and this role will support the activation and maximisation of this and other high-profile relationships to drive fundraising and brand visibility.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver partnerships that contribute to Race Against Dementia’s fundraising targets and strategic objectives.
• Support the management of key partnership accounts, acting as a point of contact for partners and maintaining strong, positive relationships.
• Develop tailored partnership plans, ensuring alignment with partner objectives and demonstrating the impact of their support.
• Contribute to new business development by researching, identifying, and engaging prospective partners, including internationally.
• Support international fundraising activity by helping develop opportunities in priority global markets and assisting with partner engagement across different regions.
• Prepare high-quality partnership proposals and presentations, clearly communicating value, impact, and alignment with funder priorities.
• Working closely with the Research team, lead the development and delivery of a strategic partner communications programme, strengthening partner engagement through regular research updates, impact reporting, and organisational news.
• Take ownership of the Partnerships team's use of the CRM system - Salesforce, maintaining accurate records, developing tracking and reporting processes, and supporting prospect research, pipeline management, and new business development activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support the delivery of partnership campaigns, activations, and marketing initiatives.
• Monitor and report on partnership performance, tracking income, engagement, and impact against agreed targets.
• Stay informed on trends in corporate partnerships, CSR, and international fundraising to support innovation and growth.
• Support the activation of Race Against Dementia’s partnership with Formula 1 and associated global opportunities to maximise fundraising and awareness. 

Supporting Events

Provide support for key fundraising events, including partner engagement, stewardship and delivery support where required.

Assist with the coordination of international events and activations linked to partnership opportunities.

Other Duties

Carry out any other duties as required by the Strategic Partnerships Lead, CEO and Board of Trustees including:

• To attend, where appropriate, local, regional, national and international meetings/events.
• To maintain a good knowledge of international, national and local initiatives which are of benefit to Race Against Dementia.
• To administer your own workload, including meeting targets and deadlines in line with the Race Against Dementia appraisal system.
• To attend relevant CPD training events as required.
• To undertake responsibility, as part of the team, for all Health and Safety work related matters.
• To work within the guidelines of Race Against Dementia’s policies and procedures.

Role Overview

The Head of Partnerships and Development will lead Multibank Scotland’s partnership and development activity.

This is a senior, outward-facing role for someone who can identify opportunities, make clear and compelling asks, build trust quickly and turn ideas into practical partnerships. We are looking for someone who creates momentum and follows opportunities through, rather than someone focused solely on networking or stakeholder management.

The role will lead the day-to-day development pipeline across corporate partnerships, product supply, strategic relationships, expansion opportunities, funding proposals and supporter stewardship.

A central part of the role will be developing partnerships that increase the volume, quality and range of goods available for redistribution. This will include working with businesses, manufacturers, retailers, logistics providers and other organisations to secure donated goods, services, expertise and in-kind support.

The postholder will also help expand Multibank Scotland’s reach. Working closely with the Chief Executive and the Scotland-wide Operations Manager, they will support the development of new partnerships, satellite sites and delivery models across Scotland.

Fundraising will form part of the role, but it is not primarily a traditional fundraising post. The emphasis is on building strategic partnerships that create long-term value, whether through goods, funding, services, expertise, infrastructure or collaboration.

The Chief Executive will continue to lead on overall strategy, major funder relationships, Board reporting, governance, finance and key organisational decisions. Main Purpose of the Role

The Head of Partnerships and Networks provides senior leadership for EHCVS’s partnerships, networks, and income development. Reporting to the CEO, the post-holder strengthens the voice and connectivity of the local voluntary and community sector (VCS) and develops new, sustainable income for the organisation and the wider sector.

The role focuses on growing corporate funding and business partnerships, developing Hounslow Giving (the borough’s place-based giving scheme) in partnership with the Head of Volunteering, and encouraging collaboration and consortium bids across the VCS.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Funding and Income Development

• Lead the development of corporate funding, sponsorship, and business partnerships to generate sustainable income for EHCVS and the wider sector.

• Build relationships with local businesses, major employers (such as Heathrow), and corporate funders, developing clear cases for support.

• Identify corporate social responsibility (CSR) and community investment opportunities and help diversify income.

Developing Hounslow Giving (Place-Based Giving)

• Work with the Head of Volunteering to develop Hounslow Giving, the borough’s place-based giving scheme, as part of the London Giving network.

• Bring together business, philanthropic, public, and community partners to grow local giving and connect funds to local need.

• Support donation, fundraising, and volunteering routes that engage both individuals and businesses.

Partnerships, Networks and Consortium Development

• Coordinate and facilitate EHCVS networks and forums across both boroughs, encouraging partnerships and collaboration within the VCS.

• Develop consortium bids with VCS partners, brokering relationships to pursue joint funding opportunities.

• Represent EHCVS and the VCS at strategic boards and sector events, and maintain relationships with statutory partners (local authorities, NHS, Integrated Care Board).

Leadership and Team

• Provide senior leadership for partnerships, networks, and income development, contributing to the senior leadership team and deputising for the CEO as required.

• Line manages relevant staff, providing supervision and development support.

Monitoring, Reporting and Governance

• Capture engagement, income, and outcomes, and contribute to internal and funder reporting.

• Ensure activity complies with relevant policies (safeguarding, GDPR, equality and diversity) and with fundraising good practice.

Person Specification

Essential

• Senior experience of developing partnerships, networks, or income in the VCSE, public, or social enterprise sector.

• Proven track record of securing corporate funding, sponsorship, or business partnerships.

• Experience in developing consortium or partnership bids and brokering collaboration.

• Experience of, or strong understanding of, place-based giving, community foundations, or philanthropy.

• Strong relationship-building, facilitation, and communication skills across sectors.

• Experience in managing staff and leading delivery.

Pathway's Business Development Manager plays a key role in our small core team, working with staff across the organisation to develop our offers to NHS partners and building and managing relationships with external funders and partners from the statutory, charity and corporate sectors. Reporting to the Chief Executive the postholder plays a leading role in developing strategies to increase our impact, diversify our revenue streams and support the spread and replication of evidence-based models of care and service improvements, emerging from Pathway’s own work and our wide inclusion health networks.

The main tasks are:

1. Business Development & Lead Generation

Research and identify opportunities to spread Pathway's models of improved care, including new routes to NHS commissioners, budget holders, and innovative funding mechanisms. With senior support, identify target contacts and generate leads to develop and diversify Pathway's revenue streams and carry out planning to adapt to the external environment.

2. Grant Writing & Funding Applications
Lead and co-ordinate the development of high-quality grant applications and service business cases, working across Pathway's teams to gather evidence, articulate impact, and make compelling cases for support to NHS commissioners and Trusts, charitable foundations, and corporate partners.

3. Relationship Management
Build, manage and track relationships with NHS commissioners, system partners, clinical champions, corporate partners and funders through new and existing mechanisms. Represent Pathway externally, developing a deep understanding of commissioners' and funders’ needs, and propose ways Pathway can plan to meet them. Help staff, Fellows, and close partners to understand these needs and how Pathway may need to change in response.

4. Marketing & Communications
Work with the Communications Manager to develop promotional campaigns and marketing materials that increase Pathway's impact and externally generated income. Maintain a strong working knowledge of Pathway's care innovations and service models, and promote these in an NHS-appropriate style. Keep abreast of developments in the NHS to ensure Pathway's communications and marketing activities connect with current health service concerns.

About you - You need to have:
