We are looking for a Tennis Development Officer to support the delivery of tennis as one of our Focus Sports. The role combines tennis delivery with desk-based sports administration and student engagement. Our partner, a collaborative platform supporting a network of conservation-focused organisations across Africa, is seeking an experienced finance trainer to design and deliver a high-impact training session for CEOs at an annual partner convention in Southern Africa.

The organisation works with multiple locally-led partners, providing sub-grants alongside tailored capacity strengthening across governance, leadership, finance and operations. As many of the organisations are founder-led, this training will focus on equipping CEOs with the financial knowledge and confidence required to effectively lead and oversee their organisations.

The successful candidate will design and deliver an engaging, practical finance session (c. 3 hours) as part of a wider one-day CEO training programme, tailored to the needs and experience levels of participants.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver an engaging, practical finance training session for non-finance CEOs, tailored to conservation NGOs operating in Africa. The topics they have suggested they would like to cover include:

• Understanding basic financial statements and what they mean for organizational health
• Budgeting and how to effectively review and monitor budgets
• How to manage and engage with a CFO or finance manager without having a technical accounting background
• Key questions CEOs should be asking their finance teams
• Identifying red flags and early warning signs of financial mismanagement
• Practical approaches to fraud prevention and detection, including essential internal controls
• Financial governance and the role of the CEO in ensuring accountability
• Donor compliance and managing restricted funds
• Cash flow management and financial sustainability
• Using financial information to support strategic decision-making

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and delivering finance training for non-finance audiences, ideally at a senior leadership level
• Strong understanding of financial management in NGOs, including donor compliance, restricted funding and financial governance
• Familiarity with the operating context of conservation NGOs in Africa and the associated funding landscape
• Ability to translate technical financial concepts into clear, practical and engaging content
• Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse and senior audiences.

Working arrangements

• The training will take place in Namibia in July 2026.
• The finance session will be approximately 3 hours in duration, as part of a one-day CEO training programme

About the role

This is a dynamic, strategic role and the successful candidate will exercise PersonCentred clinical responsibility for Woman’s Trust (WT), counselling, groupwork and other therapeutic services.

Reporting to the CEO, this role will oversee the day-to-day delivery of seamless, highquality service across all of our client-facing provisions. The post holder will support the CEO to ensure the future development of WT by leading the frontline staff team in the provision of high-quality, relevant and safe services to survivors of violence and abuse in line with WT’s aims and principles.

The Head of Therapeutic Services, a member of the Senior Leadership Team, will work closely with colleagues across WT, to plan and implement quality improvement plans in order to deliver outstanding services in an efficient and cost-effective manner. This role will deputise for the CEO when necessary.

Working with key stakeholders to ensure that WT counselling services are delivered to a high professional standard, in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework and the Person-Centred approach.

Leading on the development of new opportunities for the enhancement and expansion of WT counselling services, on the clinical representation of WT services to external bodies and involvement in campaigning for the improvement of services for women experiencing DA, and to be the safeguarding lead for WT.

1. Strategy, Governance & Risk

• Provide overall leadership and strategic development of the charity.

About the team

The Senior Global Fundraising Manager will report to the Global Lead for Communications and Fundraising (Executive Director), currently based in WaterAid UK. They will be an integral member of the Global Communications and Fundraising Executive, made up of senior colleagues from across the WaterAid federation.

The WaterAid Federation consists of the International Secretariat, 7 members - Canada, USA, UK, Sweden, India, Japan and Australia, 3 Regional hubs and 22 country programme offices.

About the role

This role will play a strategic part in driving income growth across the WaterAid federation by proactively collaborating and learning, and seeking opportunities to strengthen our collective action, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. Critically they will play a lead role in developing a long-term global income plan, ensuring that we make the best collective decisions for organisational growth and impact, and ensuring that risk is managed globally. The role holder will work closely with the Executive Director who is the Global Lead for Communications and Fundraising, in overseeing and driving action through the Global Communications and Fundraising Executive (GCFE) made up of communications and fundraising leaders across the federation; and leading key initiatives identified by this group.

In this role, you will;

• Lead the process for the development of a long-term global income generation plan/strategy which maps WaterAid’s growth trajectory, income stream balance, and required enablers and dependencies.
• Takes a lead role in global fundraising projects which address the enablers and dependencies identified in the plan for multiple markets. This could include identifying new approaches such as emergency fundraising; addressing processes and ways of working holding us back; driving efficiencies through centralised procurement.
• Lead on quarterly global performance monitoring and trend analysis – ensuring and supporting all members to provide a qualitative and quantitative overview which enables us to identify trends, opportunities and threats and act upon them. Reporting key findings to WaterAid International where required
• Monitor risk across the income portfolio and support senior fundraisers in managing and mitigating risk identified.
• Identify and coordinate/lead global income generation activities which require central management – including project management of key programmes of work.
• Ensure global engagement in key initiatives is relevant and easy, with low resource impact, for smaller members and Country Programmes (CPs).
• Support the Global Lead for Communications and Fundraising with initiatives which drive global alignment, transparency and effectiveness.

To be successful, you’ll need:

• Demonstrable experience in working on global initiatives with globally dispersed teams
• Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills with the ability to drive integration and alignment. 
• Proven ability to work effectively with stakeholders from across a range of cultures, locations and backgrounds
• Experience of developing complex plans and strategies - monitoring and reporting against them
• Strong knowledge of fundraising practices and experience delivering fundraising campaigns (restricted or unrestricted income generation)
• Ability to analyse fundraising data and create narrative and actions from that to shape continuous improvement

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:

• Knowledge of all fundraising streams – public fundraising, philanthropy and trusts, corporate and institutional
• Knowledge of different fundraising markets.
• Ability to flex working hours to ease time zone challenges

This role will serve as the operational backbone of the finance team, ensuring that supplier obligations are met accurately and on time, that customer invoicing is timely and correct, and that debtor balances are actively managed. By providing clear, proactive reporting and communication across internal teams and external stakeholders, this role directly supports the organisation's ability to plan, fund, and deliver its mission.

Day to day responsibilities:

• Own Accounts Receivable: Coordinate invoice raising with the Revenue Team, manage the debtor ledger, and liaise with global partners to secure payments.
• Own Accounts Payable: Manage the end-to-end processing of supplier invoices, on-board new vendors, and ensure our supplier obligations are met accurately and on time.
• Cash Flow Stewardship: Provide the critical data needed for effective cash flow management. 
• Use financial systems (including Xero) to maintain audit-ready records and produce management information.
• Prepare regular aged debtor and creditor reports, presenting clear summaries and flagging material risks to the CFO and senior leadership.
• Support month-end close processes, including reconciliations and balance sheet reviews.
• Work closely with the Revenue and Operations teams to ensure financial processes support wider organisational goals.
• Act as a professional point of contact for internal colleagues and external stakeholders, operating with a solutions-focused mindset.

Experience:

• Experience in a finance operations, transactional finance, or similar role.
• Familiarity with both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience using Xero is beneficial; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial data.
• Experience working in an events, or international organisation is advantageous but not essential.

We are now looking for a Finance Lead to join our Senior Leadership Team in Coventry. 

Blending both the strategic and the hands-on practical, the Finance Lead is responsible for ensuring the overall financial health and sustainability of the charity. Alongside overseeing day-to-day financial management, with administrative support for some transactional tasks, you will bring a strong financial perspective to organisational planning, funding development, Board reporting, and decision-making. 

This role goes beyond producing financial information. You will be expected to:
