About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for risk and needs assessing and safety planning with survivors of domestic violence. They will hold a caseload of service users, requiring crisis short-term intervention, providing advice, advocacy, and onward referral where appropriate.

You will have a “can-do‟ approach and demonstrable commitment to Solace’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer. What the job involves

Be part of shaping a vital new service supporting men affected by the sexual wellbeing challenges associated with prostate cancer and its treatment.

Working as part of our Specialist Nurse team, and alongside our new Sexual Wellbeing Service Manager, you’ll provide personalised, compassionate support to men and their partners, helping them navigate their sexual health and wellbeing including treatment side effects such as erectile dysfunction.

You’ll deliver this support across our helpline channels; phone, webchat, WhatsApp and email, offering expert, unbiased information that empowers people to make informed judgements. You’ll also work with men referred from NHS partners as part of our new Movember funded service, focusing on those who need timely, specialist intervention.

You’ll help shape how this service grows. That includes:

· supporting the development of targeted sexual wellbeing resources

· contributing clinical insight to service improvements and new projects

· helping to deliver online group support, patient classes and webinars

· working with colleagues across Prostate Cancer UK so that the latest clinical knowledge informs our wider activities, from education sessions for clinicians to our written health information

· representing the charity at external events where needed

· collecting and recording data to help us understand impact and continually improve

This role blends hands on support with the chance to influence a pioneering new approach to sexual wellbeing for men affected by prostate cancer. You’ll be part of a supportive, expert clinical team and will have ongoing opportunities to develop your practice.

What we want from you 

You’ll be a registered nurse with experience working at NHS Band 6 or equivalent, and you’ll bring a real passion for improving outcomes for men living with and beyond prostate cancer. You’ll already have experience supporting patients with sexual wellbeing needs, whether through erectile dysfunction clinics, sexual health services, oncology or urology pathways, and feel at ease talking openly and sensitively about issues like erectile dysfunction, intimacy and treatment related changes.

You’ll be an excellent communicator who can explain complex clinical information clearly, whether you’re on the phone, responding to a WhatsApp message or delivering a webinar. You’ll be comfortable working unsupervised, while also being a supportive, collaborative team member.

· can work calmly and professionally across multiple digital channels

The Role

About the role

Reporting to the IMO Representative, you will play a key role in supporting the ITF’s work with the IMO. You will provide high-quality research, analysis, and technical input to inform submissions, policy positions, and advocacy.

Working with colleagues, affiliates, and external stakeholders, you will help ensure that the ITF’s maritime safety and regulatory work is evidence-based, well-coordinated, and effectively communicated. You will also work closely with the ITF Permanent Representative to support alignment between IMO engagement and wider ITF priorities at the International Labour Organization (ILO), reflecting the increasing interconnection between global maritime and labour regulatory frameworks.

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity are hiring for a permanent Legacy Executive, a critical role within our Legacy Management team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for some of our core administrative duties and a blend of legacy casework beyond just pecuniary gifts, working with the team to manage risk and maximise the value of our legacies.

The team are supportive, collaborate and work closely together to manage and honour gifts left in Wills. It's a detail focused environment, but one where you can share knowledge, offer guidance and celebrate success together. 
 

Salary
The salary for this position is £35,023 per annum and we operate a hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• You will manage your own varied caseload of legacy gifts, playing a key role in ensuring income is received efficiently while balancing legal responsibilities with sensitivity and care.
• You will be at the heart of legacy operations, setting up and maintaining accurate records across systems, giving you real ownership of high-quality data that informs decision-making and drives performance.
• You will build meaningful relationships with executors, families and professional contacts, using every interaction as an opportunity to show appreciation and strengthen long-term supporter connections.
• You will collaborate across teams on engaging projects such as legacy events and the Book of Remembrance, helping to celebrate supporters’ stories and bring their impact to life.
• You will use your attention to detail to track income, review estate valuations and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, helping to maximise the value of every gift. 
• You will play an active role in improving processes and shaping how legacy management works, with opportunities to contribute ideas and enhance the team’s effectiveness.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Experience managing detailed, process-driven work where accuracy and organisation are essential within legacy, legal or estate administration environments.
• A clear understanding of how Wills and probate work, and confidence applying this knowledge in a practical setting.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly and handle sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.
• Ability to manage your own workload, prioritise effectively and keep multiple cases progressing at the same time.
• Confidence working with databases or record systems, maintaining accurate information and using data to support decision-making.
