This role will support the work of the World Obesity Federation in its role leading dissemination activities under a specific research consortium project; alongside support for intersecting areas of work across the WOF portfolio. Key activities will include: Developing content for website and social media from scientific outputs; using a media monitoring tool to gather relevant data and insights to support dissemination; and co-ordinating planning for webinar and event hosting and project participation at wider events. About the role
The Policy and Research Trainee post is a broad-ranging development role that will support the post-holder to gain knowledge and experience of various aspects of policy and research within a specialist health and care policy team.

You will gain experience in creating a range of outputs for different audiences, publishing and presenting research findings in an accessible way. About the role
The Chief Programmes and Communities Officer will lead the charity’s Programmes and Communities Division. Purpose of This Role:
This is a strategic role, funded by the Sir Halley Stewart Trust, to shape future policy and practice in how faith communities support social prescribing for the benefit of local communities. This includes exploring the role of faith as a strategic partner in the government's neighbourhood health agenda. Building on the work of the current postholder, and previous work by NASP and organisations like Theos and the Good Faith Partnership, this role will take the lead at a national level by influencing, shaping and convening partners to unlock and unleash the significant resources of faith groups in contributing towards holistic healthcare delivered within the community.
The purpose of this role is to lead and co-ordinate NASP’s work on social prescribing with partners across the faith sector and enable a better understanding of how to work effectively with faith communities through social prescribing, and the role that faith and belief plays in supporting good health and wellbeing. The role sits in the National Leads & Evidence team, led by the Executive Director of Strategy and Partnerships. The postholder will work alongside NASP colleagues who lead on Healthcare integration; Evidence and Insights; International Social Prescribing; and connections with sectors that provide community activities and support such as the natural environment, physical activity, historic environment and arts and culture.

Experience & Knowledge:
• Excellent knowledge of the health sector and/or the VCFSE (Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise) sector

• Act as the faith lead within NASP, being the point of contact and key advocate for faith communities’ involvement in social prescribing, across all major traditions.

About Depaul UK
In the 1980s, high unemployment and steep inflation was contributing to a shocking rise in youth homelessness across London. Thousands of young people were sleeping rough every night, with many areas notoriously dubbed “cardboard cities” due to the visible rise in street homelessness. Appalled by the scenes playing out across the capital, a group of people came together to tackle the challenge head on. Led by Cardinal Basil Hume and Mark McGreevy OBE, in 1989 Depaul UK was born.
What began as a single housing project in North London soon expanded across London, Greater Manchester and the North East of England. Today, Depaul UK provides accommodation, prevention and support services to thousands of marginalised young people across the UK each year.

The Bumblebee Conservation Trust (the Trust) is looking for a part-time (0.7 FTE) Head of Outreach.

This role will:
You will be an excellent communicator and problem solver with experience in managing change and leading and motivating staff and volunteers. You will have a proven track record in securing grant funding and building strong partnerships with third party organisations, as well as experience in monitoring and evaluating the impact of public engagement and volunteering activities, including social and wellbeing impacts and behaviour change.
