Glaucoma UK is the charity for people with glaucoma. Our vision is to end preventable glaucoma sight loss. We want everyone with glaucoma to be able to live well with the condition, and to make this a reality.

Working closely with our Head of Communications and a specialist public affairs agency, you will help bring those findings to life, secure media attention and make decision-makers listen. Alongside this landmark work, you will create engaging content across our magazine, website, email and social media channels, identify opportunities for national coverage and help strengthen and protect Glaucoma UK’s voice and reputation. What you’ll be working on:
· Proactively creating and delivering high quality, inspiring multi-channel content (including, but not limited to, our quarterly members magazine, awareness campaigns, email marketing schedule, social media and website) to engage key stakeholders and attract new followers to our cause.

The RCSLT is the professional body for speech and language therapists across the UK. The RCSLT has over 24,000 members and employs around 65 staff predominately based in a London office. The RCSLT also has offices in Belfast, Edinburgh, and Cardiff.

The role
As a Research & Outcomes Officer, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering the RCSLT’s research and outcomes work, helping to strengthen research culture, champion evidence-based practice and support the profession to make better use of evidence and data.
You’ll take operational responsibility for a varied portfolio of projects and initiatives, from research priority setting and engagement, to collecting and analysing data, supporting evidence synthesis and monitoring impact. You’ll also help bring this work to life through engaging communications across RCSLT research channels, as well as presentations, webinars, conferences and events.
Working closely with RCSLT members, colleagues and external stakeholders, you’ll provide expert, evidence-based advice on research, outcomes, clinical and professional issues, while responding to enquiries and supporting teams across the organisation to identify, understand and apply research evidence.
