About the role

You’ll develop cases for support and write funding applications (helped by the wider staff team) and will build a robust income pipeline based on relational asks, including in person. Stewardship is key, so we want a skilled communicator with great organisational skills. You’ll have a passion for local social action, and will thrive in our collaborative team culture.

Leukaemia UK and You 

We are a growing charity with an annual income of £3.5m with a diversified funding portfolio including grants, donations and trading income with a mix of restricted and unrestricted funds. This is a new part‑time role within Leukaemia UK’s Finance & Resources team and forms part of a planned transition from an outsourced finance model to a fully in‑house finance function. The role has been created to strengthen internal finance capability and resilience as the organisation prepares to deliver its newly approved five‑year strategy from 2027.

You will play a leading, hands‑on role in running the organisation’s core finance operations, ensuring robust financial control, accurate reporting and effective support to teams across the organisation. Working closely with the Director of Finance & Resources, you will take ownership of core finance processes providing operational leadership, internal business partnering and process discipline.

As part of a small central team, you will work alongside the Director of Finance & Resources and the Finance Officer, and partner closely with colleagues across the organisation. This role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys being hands‑on, combining operational delivery with continuous improvement. Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Significant experience and confidence in managing a full range of finance operations in a small or medium sized charitable organisation.
• Qualified or part-qualified accountant, holding one of the UK mainstream accountancy qualifications with strong operational finance experience.

Role Specifics

The role

The post holder will work alongside our Co-Executive Director, Head of Legal and Legal Administrator in developing and managing Foxglove’s legal work. You will develop and drive forward a significant number and range of cases, including the development of case theories, investigating and collecting evidence, drafting correspondence, evidence and submissions. You will also be responsible for coordinating and managing external legal teams, in multiple jurisdictions. This will require you to have the comfort and ability to navigate diverse settings, while also having the insight to weigh up the benefits and challenges of pursuing cases in different jurisdictions. You will serve as an external representative for Foxglove’s work, writing and speaking on topics of relevance. You will also be a sparring partner for others in the team, bringing a creative mindset and political savviness. UK and international travel are required. Case Development and Management

• Build connections, and listen to affected communities, unearth and pursue issues caused by tech injustice, coming up with innovative legal solutions.

Person Specification

Essential

• Substantial experience in legal practice and conducting litigation and a demonstrated understanding of litigation strategies.

• Qualified lawyer in any jurisdiction with at least 10 years of legal experience.
• Significant experience in legal practice in the UK.

Length and Salary

The role is permanent. The annual salary is £88,400 per annum less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.

Our team works remotely, and this role can be based anywhere. We would prefer you to work within or close to UK office hours, but this is flexible. Our team travels every two months for team days and twice a year for team retreats. This role will include significant UK and international travel. An exciting opportunity for a Data Services Manager has arisen at World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF). 

WCRF is the UK’s leading cancer prevention charity focusing on the link between cancer and risk factors such as diet, body weight and physical activity. 

We are seeking a Data Services Manager to lead and be responsible for the management, use and maintenance of systems and in-house CRM databases to support the achievement of the charity’s fundraising strategic objectives. You will be analysing and reviewing data and reporting on results that can then be used to build engagement with our supporters.You will also be responsible for a team of two people. 

The successful candidate will have proven experience of working with industry standard fundraising software solutions in the charity sector, ideally have knowledge of Claris Filemaker products and will have experience of creating new, and maintaining and updating existing, complex database systems.Experience of creating scripts and troubleshooting existing scripts is key, along with considerable hands-on experience of working with complex data sources, transfers and imports. An understanding and working knowledge of Data Protection regulations is required.

About the role

Khulisa has invested heavily in the development of its monitoring and evaluation framework, alongside augmenting its evaluation capacity and capability through innovation. • Managing and developing the CRM (Salesforce) to ensure we collect high quality data at scale.
• Extracting meaningful insights to inform decision making, strategy development, and support the development of effective policies within the justice and education sectors.
• Ensuring the day-to-day operating of Khulisa’s data recording, processing and reporting processes.
• Continually refining and improving Khulisa’s internal MEL capacity including our evaluation systems; organisational and programme Theories of Change; evaluation indicators; data collection tools and define system improvements.
• Supporting the scoping and design of new programmes by providing data from past programmes, insights from beneficiaries and service-users, research into best practice and offer ongoing guidance on establishing best practice MEL systems and processes.

This is a hybrid role, with the post holder required to work mostly from home but with access to desk space in our London office. Travel to various locations in London and the North-West of England may also be necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role.

The Area Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership for Treasures Foundation’s new ambulatory detox facility and first-stage supported housing service.
