This role provides person-centred support to service users, focusing on increasing independence, maintaining accommodation, and improving quality of life.

Responsibilities include creating and reviewing SMART support plans, delivering home or community-based support, facilitating access to medical and community services, and minimizing hospital admissions for mental health. The role also involves working with external agencies, developing interventions for hard-to-engage users, and promoting ongoing engagement with support networks.

You will bring experience supporting individuals with mental ill health and complex needs, particularly within community or outreach settings. You will have strong knowledge of mental health conditions, including signs, symptoms, and treatments, with the ability to recognise deterioration and take appropriate action. You will understand health and safety in a community setting, as well as equality and diversity, ensuring service users' rights, dignity, and choice are always promoted. A good working knowledge of welfare benefits is essential, alongside a clear understanding of safeguarding and the ability to respond appropriately.

The Alzheimer’s Society UK Dementia Trials Network (UKDTN) Trial Finder is an open-access platform that connects people living with mild cognitive impairment or dementia, their families, and healthcare professionals, with research opportunities across the UK. It empowers people to make informed decisions about taking part in clinical trials, wherever they live.
We are looking for a Clinical Trial Finder Officer who can ensure this platform is accurate, accessible, and meaningful. By raising awareness of, and widening access to, clinical trial opportunities, your work will help more people to take part in clinical trials and feel more in control of their journey.
You will work closely with colleagues across the Alzheimer’s Society UKDTN Research Nurse Programme, Research Communications team, Data and Digital teams, Participation team, and with a range of external partners to maintain the Trial Finder, respond to enquiries, and ensure that the platform is reliable, culturally informed and inclusive. About the role

- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Trial Finder, keeping it reliable, user-friendly, and up-to-date.

- Implement and manage quality control processes, including version control, audit trails, and regular review of trial entries.

Our client, The Centre for Transforming Access and Student Outcomes in Higher Education (TASO) is an affiliate What Works Centre, and part of the UK Government’s What Works Movement. Their vision is to eliminate equality gaps in higher education (HE). Their mission is to improve lives through evidence-informed practice.

​TASO was set up in 2019 and became an independent charity in April 2021. Their work focuses on the generation, synthesis and dissemination of high-quality evidence about effective practice in widening participation and student outcomes. They primarily focus on developing and disseminating causal evidence.

​Role:

​The Chief Research Officer will ensure the smooth and successful delivery of TASO’s Research & Evaluation programme, with overall responsibility for TASO’s Research and Evaluation budget. This will involve managing the staff involved in these functions to deliver TASO’s research, evaluation, synthesis and evidence mobilisation activities to time and within budget.
 
Working closely with the Chief Executive, the postholder will help shape TASO’s overall strategic direction and translate this into a clear programme of research and evaluation activity. They will lead and manage the teams responsible for research and evaluation to ensure that TASO’s strategies are delivered effectively on time and within budget.
 
The role includes overseeing the delivery of TASO’s research programmes, ensuring compliance, managing research funding rounds, and maintaining strong oversight of subcontracted work. A new post at the Longford Trust, created at an exciting time of growth and development for the charity.

- A 3 day-a-week role;

- Reporting to the Director and working as part of the Senior Management Team of the trust, within an overall cohort of eight, all part-time posts;

The Longford Trust was set up in 2002. Each November, it stages an annual Longford Lecture and awards an annual Longford Prize. Our Longford Scholarship programme supports young serving and ex-prisoners to continue their rehabilitation by going to university. It is the only programme of its type across the UK, supporting more than 600 individuals so far, with over 100 current award-holders, as well as many alumni who continue to be part of the trust. THE ROLE

Job Title: Head of CRM

CONTEXT & PURPOSE OF ROLE

SportsAid is currently implementing Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud as our new organisation-wide CRM platform to strengthen engagement with athletes and their parents/care-givers, supporters and funders, partners, alumni, volunteers and other key stakeholders.  The Head of CRM will provide strategic and operational leadership for the charity’s CRM function.  

Initially the focus of the role will be to realise the value of the implementation, including adoption, embedding ways of working and processes across teams, improving data quality, refining reporting, ensuring good system governance and optimising organisation-wide usage. 

Longer term, the role will develop and lead a CRM roadmap, identifying priorities and enhancements for future development and planning the strategic evolution of our new CRM ecosystem and long-term sustainability of our Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud platform.

You will lead organisational change, embed best practice CRM processes, ensure high-quality data governance and maximise the value of CRM insights to support fundraising, programme delivery, marketing, partnerships and impact reporting.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

 Experience

• Substantial experience of a similar role within a UK charity (essential).

Job Title: Commercial Manager

Reporting To: Head of Retail, Wholesale & Food Service

The Felix Project and FareShare have recently merged to form the UK's largest food redistribution charity. Its vision is a UK where good food is never wasted, and nobody goes hungry.

The organisation rescues high quality edible surplus food, from across the food industry and gets it to over 8,000 organisations across the UK who are working to strengthen communities and improve lives.

The charity manages seven depots across London, Suffolk, Merseyside and Hampshire and works with 16 network partners who operate a further 26 regional depots across the UK.

Over the next year our ambition is to rescue enough food nationally to provide nearly 200 million meals, turning an environmental problem into social good with measurable impact for people, planet, and the economy.

Purpose of the Job

Commercial Manager will identify, develop and manage top food partners relationships and strengthen existing business relationships with companies in the food industry, generating value for the partner and to secure growing and sustainable volumes of surplus food for the FareShare Network. For designated top food partners, you will be their day-to-day point of contact with regular face to face contact at all levels.

You will undertake structured, strategic account management, leading and coordinating FareShare’s engagement across our organisation. This will mean agreeing and executing a bespoke joint business plan with each account to get more food, money and strategic support. You will also feedback on ways that we can better support our accounts and improve our services to them. You will work directly and be on-site with top food partners to help identify and overcome the barriers which exist to giving surplus food to people in need as well as increasing money and strategic resource.

You will also be required to work closely with FareShare colleagues within FareShare and across the UK in our partner organisations in order to identify and understand opportunities for creating mutual and shared value.

Duties and Responsibilities

Partnership Management

• Contribute to the development of consistent, structured Joint Business plans with

designated accounts that take into account food, funding and other strategic initiatives to drive growth in food, money and other strategic resources

• Work on behalf of the account to develop and embed services relevant to the account and agreed through the joint business plan – e.g. employability or store level redistribution 

• Execute joint business plans and report internally and externally on progress.

• Research and understand your accounts, including key ESG initiatives, waste streams, key personnel within the organisation that will help drive its success and engage the relevant internal departments through both desked based research and face to face contact.

• Proactively drive account forwards and progress these relationships with regular on-site visits and linking FareShare exec with key contacts.

Project and Initiative Management 

• Be responsible for managing and communicating key projects and initiatives to increase food volumes and strategic value, securing support from a range of stakeholders within food partners and across the FareShare network. 

• Work closely with Supply Chain and Logistics, Operations and Network Development teams with the aim of optimising food out to our network

• Develop and lead FareShare cross-departmental strategic activity to enable us to derive maximum value from key food partners including liaising with fundraising, marketing and volunteering teams.

Healthwatch Brent, Westminster and RBKC

Healthwatch was set up in 2013 to champion the rights of health and social care users, and hold the health and social care system to account for how well it engages with the public. During 2026/27 these services are preparing for transition while continuing to build on their legacy.

Healthwatch’s remit covers all publicly funded health and social care services for adults and children.

• Make sure the work of HW Westminster (HWW), HW Kensington & Chelsea (HWRBKC) and HW Brent (HWB) conforms to all required principles, objectives and statutory obligations, and meets all contractual requirements between The Advocacy Project (as host organisation) and the local authorities.
• Line management of HW managers in each borough.
• Provide leadership to make sure the patient and public voice is heard across health, social care, in a continuously changing external environment.
• Working with managers in each borough, make sure HWB, HWW and HWRBKC involve the local community, particularly seldom heard groups, in influencing local and national policy and are responsive and sensitive to the needs of community groups with protected characteristics.
• Be available to represent The Advocacy project, HWB, HWW and HWRBKC at all strategic governance and external meetings with key stakeholders, liaising with nominated Board leads regularly.
• Support local managers to develop the services to respond to emerging trends and needs, while keeping abreast of Healthwatch England best practice to continually enhance the quality of the service.

Person specification

Essential

• Excellent knowledge of and experience of working at a high strategic level with the health and social care system and the voluntary and community sector, in particular Healthwatch.
• Thorough understanding of user engagement, community development, user involvement, and co-production principles and practice.
• Comfortable and capable of engaging with senior leaders in Health and Social Care both on a one-to-one basis and at strategic meetings such as scrutiny boards.
• Experience of managing through periods of change and uncertainty
• Experience working with diverse communities and tackling discrimination and inequality.
• Relevant experience in project delivery and evaluation, including data gathering and analysis, or training in research methods, statistics, or data analysis.
• Significant leadership or line Management experience including managing, developing and motivating a staff team.
• Experience in contract management and compliance.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Effective in working with a wide variety of stakeholders ranging from trustees, commissioners, partners, colleagues, and local residents.  
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to work on own initiative and plan and prioritize own workload.

Prospectus is delighted to be working with an international network of NGOs, catalysing a new era of humanitarian action to lead the search for a Funding Manager (Hubs). In this role, you will collaborate with Hub representatives internationally to set up successful resource mobilisation functions in selected Hub countries and mobilise new funds directly for them. Hubs are local humanitarian networks working to change the humanitarian system in their own context. They each have unique added values and expertise and are formed by a mix of local, national and international NGO's.

This organisation is a global membership of 145+ organisations, working across six continents, to tackle the biggest systemic problems in the global humanitarian system. This organisation's vision is for a locally led humanitarian system that is accountable to people affected by and at risk of crises. They aim to achieve this vision by making system-level shifts in how humanitarian assistance is approached and delivered.

This role is offered on an initial 24-month, full time contract, paying a salary of £47,500 - £49,000 (per annum with flexible working arrangements at their Old Street, London office. There will be expected travel to visit the Hubs, around 3-4 weeks per year.

As the Funding Manager (Hubs), you will play a critical role in this organisation's localisation agenda and strategy. This will require you to bring expertise in setting up new income streams, coordinating stakeholders internationally and personally securing new income from donors. As most of the Hubs are in early stages of development and volunteer-led, you will need to provide substantial support including capacity-building, donor-mapping, direct engagement on behalf of the Hubs with donors, strategy development and various other activities.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is proactive, entrepreneurial and confident taking the lead in decision-making. The new Funding Manager (Hubs) will have a good understanding of the fundraising landscape relevant to the humanitarian sector, plus a clear interest in the localisation agenda, in addition to having experience in setting fundraising strategies that can catalyse new income as well as a strong personal track record in grant and partnership fundraising.
