What we are looking for:

Job Title: Philanthropy Officer

We're looking for an organised, proactive Philanthropy Officer to support our work engaging high-net-worth individuals and the wealth advisers who refer them to our work, maintaining a strong pipeline of partners and donors. 

You'll support prospecting and, where appropriate, outreach and relationship management across wealth adviser partnerships, helping to grow our referrals and giving channels. Alongside this, you'll help coordinate the logistics and admin behind our Planet Adviser Network, helping build and sustain the pool of wealth advisers collaborating with us. 

On the HNW side, you'll support contact mapping across GRP's donors, contacts and Board to help identify high-net-worth individuals and families, and support relationship management with them when appropriate. 

The ideal candidate will be excited to take on admin and logistics for major donor stewardship: including our Planet Leadership Circle, support of big and small HNW events, helping produce major donor impact materials (including reports), and other stewardship touches.

You’ll thrive in a small, fast-moving team – taking initiative, being collaborative, and contributing to shared goals. Crucially, you’ll care deeply about climate and nature. 

Experience preferred:

Some professional experience in fundraising and HNW philanthropy (as a guide, likely 1-3 years).

Scope Of The Role

You will manage and successfully deliver key events including the London Marathon, Great North Run and London Landmarks Half Marathon, as well as community-centred DIY fundraising. You’ll lead on supporter recruitment and stewardship to meet or exceed agreed targets, while keeping budgets, income and performance on track. You’ll also help expand, enhance and develop virtual challenges, including our flagship challenge Walk in Her Name, as well as Community fundraising. 

1)Support planning and delivery of the Events programme

i) Support recruitment, engagement and retention across our event portfolio including London Marathon, Great North Run and London Landmarks to meet or exceed agreed income and engagement targets, while keeping budgets, income and performance on track. 

ii) Support the team Manager to plan and deliver virtual challenges, including our flagship event, Walk in Her Name and Walk 100, working collaboratively across the team to maximise supporter experience and campaign performance. 

iii) Responsible for the OCA London Marathon team from sign up to post race including delivery of training and fundraising support, on the day cheer point and post-race celebration activities.

iv) Attend events as required

2) Manage delivery of Community Fundraising

i) Manage delivery and growth of OCA community fundraising programme increasing supporter participation, income and engagement

ii) Explore and identify new opportunities for growth with Manager creating a strong future income pipeline

3) Provide excellent supporter care across the events and community portfolio

i) Deliver excellent supporter care across Events and Community fundraising, ensuring every supporter receives timely, helpful and inspiring communications throughout their fundraising journey

ii) Monitor event performance and supporter feedback, sharing and deploying insight to improve stewardship journeys, recruitment activity and future planning 

iii) Work closely with colleagues across Fundraising, Communications, Finance and Database teams to deliver integrated, supporter-led activity.

4) Provide excellent administrative support

i) Manage and track event budgets, income and expenditure, ensuring accurate forecasting, reporting and post-campaign evaluation.

ii) Maintain accurate supporter and financial records across Raiser’s Edge and fundraising platforms, including data coding, income coding and administrative processes to support excellent supporter care

iii) Ensure all events and fundraising activity is delivered in line with Ovarian Cancer Action’s processes, fundraising best practice, GDPR requirements and relevant legislation.

What Experience We Are Looking For

· Demonstrable experience of planning and delivering a successful events portfolio, challenge events and / or community fundraising activity.

· Understanding of working with marketing to recruit supporters to events across organic and paid channels.

· Track record of providing excellent supporter care or customer service, ideally within a charity or fundraising environment - motivating or stewarding supporters, volunteers, participants or fundraisers to achieve agreed goals

·    Strong administrative skills to experience, with the ability to maintain accurate records and follow agreed processes.

· Familiar and a user of a CRM database such as Raiser’s Edge or other

· Management of tracking and reporting against budgets, income, expenditure and performance against targets.

· A working knowledge of fundraising platforms, online giving pages or event registration systems.

Additional details

Salary: Between £32,000 t0 £35,000 per annum (dependant on experience)

The Opportunity

This is a new and significant appointment for SWT UK. We are looking for a Director of Development to develop and lead our UK fundraising strategy – taking ownership of income generation across all streams, donor communications and supporter stewardship, and managing a team of three talented fundraising professionals.

Our individual supporter base is large globally – growing in UK – loyal and deeply engaged: many give through our elephant adoption programme, which connects them directly with named animals in our care. We are now ready to build on this engaged supporter base and develop it into a structured individual giving programme – with mid-level giving pathways, major donor cultivation, systematic stewardship and deeper philanthropic relationships. That is the central challenge and opportunity of this role.

We also have active corporate and trust relationships, a legacy programme in development, and real potential to grow income from European and international funders. The Director of Development will take ownership of all of this – hands on and strategic in equal measure.

What You Will Do

• Develop and implement a new UK fundraising strategy, establishing clear priorities, income targets and programmes that will drive growth through to 2030 and beyond
• Develop and implement a UK individual giving programme – building on our adoption base to create structured giving journeys, mid-level and major donor cultivation, and meaningful stewardship
• Manage the UK fundraising budget, set and monitor income targets across all streams, and report regularly to the Executive Director on performance and ROI
• Take day-to-day ownership of corporate and trust relationships, writing reports, proposals and partner communications
• Build a major donor programme from the ground up, identifying and cultivating high-value individual prospects
• Develop legacy marketing activity, working alongside our existing legacy administrator and Freewill partnership
• Manage and inspire a team of three: Communications and Fundraising Manager, Retail Manager and Supporter Care Officer, and Fundraising Support Officer

About You

We are looking for a fundraiser who loves the craft – someone who is energised by building relationships, writing a compelling proposal, developing a giving programme from scratch, and ensuring every supporter feels genuinely valued. This is a hands-on role as much as a leadership one, and the right person will be comfortable doing both.

• Proven track record in fundraising, with demonstrable success securing income from individuals, trusts or corporates – including five-figure gifts and above
• Experience developing individual giving programmes, including mid-level or major donor cultivation
• A hands-on practitioner – comfortable writing proposals, reports and donor communications yourself
• Experience managing a small fundraising team with warmth, clarity and accountability
• Strong relationship management and stewardship skills
• Experience working with a donor CRM and using data to inform fundraising decisions
• Comfortable in a building role – excited by developing programmes that don't yet exist
• Experience managing fundraising budgets and producing income forecasts and performance reports.
• Genuine passion for wildlife conservation – this role is for someone who cares about the cause
• Committed to in-person working – we believe day-to-day presence and collaboration produces better outcomes for our donors and our team, and ask for a minimum of three days per week at our Billingshurst office

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Kids Network are seeking a Community Fundraising Officer to join our small, successful team to help take our community fundraising to the next level, as we grow to deliver life-changing mentoring for more Little Londoners. This role will oversee our growing Community Fundraising programme, building on the processes, engagement and successes we’ve nurtured over two years, keeping our wonderful supporters motivated, committed and happy, while increasing the income they raise.

As our Community Fundraising Officer, you will be the first point of contact for supporters taking on challenge events and raising money for TKN in the community. You will ensure our different supporters have a fantastic experience at every step, and feel committed to supporting the charity’s work and furthering our impact for Little Londoners. Working closely with our two other fundraisers, you will learn about all aspects of fundraising, and support the team with maintaining meticulous records, delivering strong supporter stewardship, and writing lower-level funding applications and reports.

This role supports The Kids Network by securing the income and public support required to deliver and scale our transformative mentoring programme.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

COMMUNITY AND INDIVIDUAL GIVING FUNDRAISING

• Oversee onboarding and stewardship journeys for event fundraisers
• Recruit and support people fundraising in their community (schools, businesses, faith groups, etc)
• Maintain our Community Fundraising platforms and keep event listings up-to-date
• Maintain meticulous donation and supporter records on Salesforce and liaise with Finance team
• Oversee administration and stewardship for Friends of TKN supporters club, and developing offer for committed supporters

TRUST FUNDRAISING

• Collate information for, proofread and write lower level funding applications and reports
• Maintain supporter records on Salesforce (reporting schedules, receipting and recognition)
• Support team with researching and identifying Trust prospects

GENERAL

• Work closely with our Marketing Team to deliver consistent, persuasive fundraising messages in our social media posts and newsletters, as well as maintain up-to-date website content
• Maintain our Case For Support, ensuring it’s up-to-date and compelling to attract partners and donors
• Support general stewardship with supporters, funders and corporate partners

Overview

Race Against Dementia is a global charity founded by three-time Formula 1 World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart OBE to find preventions, treatments and cures for dementia – faster. 

We fund and support pioneering early-career scientists around the world, giving them the tools, mentoring and Formula 1-inspired mindset to accelerate breakthroughs. From the UK to the USA, Australia to South Africa, our researchers are rethinking how dementia research is done – applying data science, AI and engineering to neuroscience in bold, collaborative ways. 

Purpose of the role

The Supporter Engagement Officer plays a key role in making sure everyone who supports Race Against Dementia has a positive and rewarding experience. They will manage day-to-day supporter communications, maintain our supporter database, and build strong relationships with donors, fundraisers and volunteers around the world. By helping people feel valued and connected to our mission, they will help inspire long -term support and generate more funding for dementia research.

Duties and Responsibilities

Supporter care and fundraising

• Act as the first point of contact for supporters and fundraisers, delivering timely, professional and friendly stewardship via phone, email and post .
• Manage supporter journeys from sign-up to thank you, using tailored communications and automated journeys to maximise engagement and fundraising success.
• Record and track fundraising activity, ensuring accurate records and effective supporter communications.
• Prepare and send thank you letters, receipts and other supporter communications.
• Plan and deliver small-scale supporter engagement events, maximising both experience and fundraising potential.
• Recruit, coordinate and steward fundraising volunteers across the year. 

CRM and donor management

• Maintain accurate supporter and donation records within the CRM (Salesforce), acting as the organisational lead for CRM best practice.
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor supporter activity, fundraising performance and trends.
• Maintain CRM integrations, ensuring data flows accurately and reliably between connected systems.
• Produce regular insights and reporting to inform fundraising strategy and decision making.
• Manage fundraising platforms (e.g. JustGiving, MuchLoved and GivenGain), ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
• Work with the Finance Manager to process monthly direct debits and reconcile income.
• Coordinate legacy and in -memory giving administration, providing sensitive and thoughtful supporter stewardship. 

Operations and administration

• Manage stocks of fundraising materials and merchandise, ensuring timely reordering.
• Oversee the fulfilment house relationship to ensure the efficient delivery of supporter packs and merchandise.
• Manage auction and raffle prize inventories, tracking usage and income.
• Support the planning and delivery of Race Against Dementia fundraising events, providing logistical and operational support.
• Maintain team calendars, campaign plans and shared resources to support effective team operations.

Other Duties

Carry out any other duties as required by your manager, Director, CEO and Board of Trustees including:

• To attend, where appropriate, local, regional and national meetings /events.
• To maintain a good knowledge of national and local initiatives which are of benefit to Race Against Dementia .
• To administer your own workload, including meeting targets and deadlines in line with the Race Against Dementia appraisal system.
• To a ttend relevant CPD training events as required.
• To undertake responsibility, as part of the team, for all Hea lth and Safety work related matters.
• To w ork within the guidelines of Race Against Dementia’s policies and procedures.

Senior Supporter Development Officer (Trading & Gaming)

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with charity e-commerce experience to take ownership of an established online shop while supporting the development of Regular Giving and Lottery programmes. You'll play a key role in delivering engaging supporter journeys, driving income growth and using insight to continuously improve performance.

About the role

This is a varied role with a strong focus on charity e-commerce, digital marketing and supporter engagement.

You'll lead the development and growth of the charity's online shop, helping to transform it into a year-round engagement and income channel through product development, merchandising, campaign activity and supporter journeys.

You'll also support the development of Regular Giving and Lottery programmes, creating engaging supporter experiences that increase retention, lifetime value and long-term income.

Working closely with colleagues across Supporter Acquisition, Supporter Journeys, Data & Insight, Finance and external suppliers, you'll use data, testing and audience insight to optimise performance, improve supporter journeys and identify new opportunities for growth.

About you

We're looking for someone who has:

• Experience managing a charity online shop or charity e-commerce function
• Experience delivering digital and multi-channel marketing campaigns
• Experience using data and insight to improve supporter or customer journeys
• Experience working with Shopify or a similar e-commerce platform
• Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills
• A proactive and organised approach

Experience of Regular Giving, Lottery or supporter stewardship would be advantageous but isn't essential.

The Royal School of Needlework (RSN) is the International Centre of Excellence for the Art of Hand Embroidery. Based at the historic Hampton Court Palace, we have been dedicated to preserving and innovating in the art of hand embroidery since 1872. Summary of position

The Royal School of Needlework (RSN) is seeking a highly motivated and organised Fundraising Officer to join our team and provide administrative support for our fundraising activities. The Fundraising Officer will play a key role in generating vital income and helping the organisation achieve its fundraising goals by assisting with donor relations, event planning, grant research, data management, and campaign coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Donor Support and Stewardship:
  • Become a ‘super’ user of the CRM/database.
  • Maintain donor records in the CRM/database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Help with the acknowledgment process, including sending thank-you letters and recognition communications to donors.
  • Assist in coordinating donor communications and outreach campaigns (e.g., newsletters, appeals, and stewardship materials).
• Event Support:

Interim Fundraising Officer 

Fundraising & Engagement | Remote (UK-based)

Salary: £18,000 per annum (0.6 FTE, based on a full-time equivalent salary of £30,000)

Hours: Part time (21 hours per week to be worked over 3 or 4 days)

Location: Home-based in the UK with occasional paid travel to London
