Operations Manager

Salary: £33,450 – £41,160 per annum depending on experience
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent and 12-month maternity cover

At Cranstoun, we are always in search of talented and experienced individuals to join our team. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager for the Worcestershire Drug and Alcohol Service, within our Workshops and Recovery Team and our Here4YOUth team.
You will be part of the Worcestershire leadership team and support the County Manager to deliver a safe, effective, and efficient service to our current and future service users.
Psychosocial Workshops and Recovery Team: You will line manage a team of Key Workers who run our group programmes across the County, and our Volunteer and Peer Mentor Co-ordinator.
Here4YOUth Team: You will line manage a team of Key Workers who hold a caseload of young people and families, including delivery of the MPACT programme.
Amongst other duties you will support individuals’ development, support personnel matters, listen, respond, and care about staff and the wellbeing of those who use our service. Oversee performance and manage the operational flow of your team, maintain high standards of practice, and support your team to achieve wider service targets.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years effective leadership and/or supervisory experience. You will need to demonstrate effective communication and organisational skills and have the ability to manage change whilst working to deadlines.
You will need to be confident working with external agencies and deliver learning sessions to your team and other agencies where required. You will need a keen eye for detail as part of your role will be to review incidents, ensure compliance with clinical audits and create plans to respond to recommendations. You will also be required to form part of the duty management rota for the service.
All posts are subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure. All post holders may be required to work some evenings and some unsociable hours in order to meet our service delivery requirements. The core service operates Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm with additional hours on some evenings.

PWS is a rare genetic condition causing an overwhelming and uncontrollable drive to eat that can be life-limiting, as well as learning and physical disabilities. We provide a dedicated helpline, a comprehensive information hub, a network of peer support groups, a varied programme of community events, training for professionals working with those with PWS, and support for vital research. Our aim is to help our amazing community overcome the challenges and live life to the full with PWS.
We are looking for a part time PWS Specialist Adviser for Northern Ireland to support the PWS community in Northern Ireland. PWS is a rare and isolating condition and our ambition it to reach families in Northern Ireland to provide impactful advice, support, information and training. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth working knowledge of health and social care systems and education in Northern Ireland as well as a belief in the potential and value of people with Prader-Willi syndrome.
You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as being self-motivated and able to engage with families, health care professionals and policy makers. You will build on the excellent work of our existing support worker to continue engage and enable the PWS community.
The position is part time (14 - 18 hours a week) and is home based and ideal for someone living in Northern Ireland
