We’re looking for a Fundraising Officer to develop and foster a legacy pipeline and increase our donations from Trusts and Foundations to help achieve our vision of a wilder Derbyshire.

In this role, you will lead legacy income by initiating, managing and developing a comprehensive programme of cultivation and stewardship activities for legacy pledgers. You will develop and implement a programme to meet our income targets from Trusts and Foundations, writing compelling fundraising bids that tell our story.

The Digital Fundraising Manager for WWF International will work to deliver effective digital strategies and techniques across selected markets, with the ultimate aim of maximising short and long term income (primarily unrestricted). The post-holder will create and implement online donor acquisition and retention strategies, as well as develop a diverse portfolio of fundraising products for WWF International. The role is also responsible for providing vision and leadership for WWF International in the fast-moving area of digital fundraising.

This is an exciting time to be joining the team. WWF International is aiming to strengthen its digital fundraising capacity by optimising the current technical infrastructure (contact management tool, mass engagement tool, etc) and develop a strong online donor experience to acquire and retain donors in selected WWF International markets.

The ideal candidate will have significant levels of experience in the field of digital fundraising and of using digital to drive supporter action online and offline. This should include experience of designing, planning and delivering successful digital activities, such as designing and optimising the donor journey, SEM/SEO/SMO, social media (paid social) and/or digital advertising campaigns (paid search, Google grants) that generate incremental income. In terms of skills, you will need to be creative, entrepreneurial, be able to think strategically, design effective data-based action plans, and possess excellent project management skills. Join Trees for Life’s Nature Restoration Team to provide vital support in guiding and evidencing our work to restore nature at landscape scale.  We are looking to this role to identify the best opportunities for natural regeneration of peatland and native woodland through ecological survey in the field.  You will be a key source of advice and support across all the Trees for Life programme, including at Dundreggan, Affric Highlands and habitats projects focused Highlands-wide.  This will be a rewarding, impact-focused role for someone with good botanical identification skills, an understanding of Highlands ecology and an enthusiasm for exploring places with real potential for rewilding.

Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s fastest growing nature conservation organisations and seeks to appoint an experienced Fundraising Manager.
 
We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Manager to drive forward relationship building and income generation across all income streams, especially Individual Giving including appeals and major donors, Corporates, Trusts & Foundations and Legacies.

You will collaborate across the Trust to develop innovative and compelling funding proposals, delivering excellent stewardship to existing donors, and identifying, researching and engaging new prospects. You will ensure continuous improvement and innovation and an appropriate balance of fundraising activity across all streams, evaluating new ideas for income generation and strategies for implementation. 

Working closely with the Director of Fundraising and Engagement you will develop the Fundraising Strategy, and as a member of the Extended Leadership Team, will be the lead for driving forward sustainable fundraising activity in collaboration with colleagues.
 
A compelling and engaging communicator, you’ll be adept at managing a portfolio of donors at different stages – from prospecting and cultivation through to ask, stewardship and retention, working at all levels of the Trust to achieve ambitious fundraising targets. 

You must have substantial experience working in a senior fundraising position with a natural talent for building positive relationships both internally and externally, developing a fundraising team and growing a mixed fundraising portfolio. Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Strategy and Business Development:

The SERC Manager will be part of the Operational Management Team supporting the Senior Leadership Team through clear strategy and business development by:

• Develop and oversee the strategic development, business planning and operational management of SERC.
• Ensuring SERC is financially sustainable and growing by seeking income generating opportunities to develop SERC business, identifying additional markets and services, and developing and implementing a Business Plan.
• Positioning SERC as the ‘go to’ ecological data evidence provider for the county and leading the marketing and communications to drive this forward.
• Ensuring SERC has capability and resource to achieve commitments through Service Level Agreements, ensuring that SERC is having a positive contribution to planning and policy across the county.
• Overseeing the development and delivery of the Somerset State of Nature Report, analysing and interpreting data to establish trends and identify where action for nature recovery needs to occur as the process for monitoring delivery of the Local Nature Recovery Strategy for Somerset.

Responsibility 1: Data Analysis and Services

Manage a robust data collection and interpretation service by:

• Establishing customer requirements, including researching and monitoring of users’ needs.
• Contributing high quality information and searches to enable effective planning decisions
• Overseeing the work programmes in data capture, entry, management, analysis, interpretation and dissemination to support evidence driven decision-making. 
• Negotiate SLAs with key existing and new service users

Responsibility 2: SERC Team Management

Achieve the aims of the Business Plan agreed with SERC Executive Group and Somerset Wildlife Trust through:

• Managing the SERC team in the setting of objectives, considering succession, priorities and work programmes to ensure high quality, efficient and timely delivery of projects and services to users.
• Developing and applying Local Records Centre protocols and policies, meeting the requirements of data users and providers, as well as professional codes of conduct and the promotion of national standards, through achieving ALERC accreditation.
• Keeping abreast of and contributing to political and technical developments in biodiversity data management and make presentations of SERC’s work and national policy development to seminars and conferences.
• Receiving and resolving complaints and representations about SERC services from data users and providers.
• Setting and managing budgets, risks and issues.

Responsibility 3: Develop through Advocacy, Influence and Delivery

Be a specialist and nurture strong relationships by:

• Developing excellent relationships with national and local recording communities and support them to contribute high quality useful data that informs an evidence-led strategy to improve Somerset’s natural environment.
• Coordinating the SERC Executive Group to deliver and monitor an effective strategy for the Records Centre that provides usable data for planners, Service Level Agreement holders and working with Somerset Wildlife Trust, in the provision of a conservation strategy for the county.
• Set data access parameters to secure SERC business model while making data as open access as possible
• Developing secure funding and commercial income streams, and manage SERC project-based work, meeting the aims of an agreed Business Plan and Somerset Wildlife Trust’s strategy.

We are seeking a highly motivated projects officer to join our Strategy, Impact and Projects team. This new role will be responsible for supporting the project managers on some of our large-scale key strategic projects and for project managing a range of smaller projects. They will also play a key role in supporting the Trust to adopt a project management framework, project reporting and ensure that we realise the benefits from the projects we deliver.

The Trust’s project portfolio comprises a wide variety of projects including the development of our reserves, visitor experience and work with local communities, along with projects to update and enhance our core systems and improve our processes, ensuring that new technologies and ways of working are successfully adopted across the organisation.

Excellent co-ordination, collaboration and delivery skills are essential to allow you to support and enable the organisation to build on strong foundations to create even greater impact.

Fauna & Flora is seeking a highly experienced professional to manage it’s fundraising from a portfolio of statutory (government and multilateral) donors, such as Defra, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service etc.

You will support colleagues and partners to develop high-quality proposal packages for priority donors, and ensure their timely submission. You will coordinate proposals and reporting internally, and ensure all documents produced for donors meet their criteria, as well as follow Fauna & Flora approval and submission procedures. There is a strong capacity development element to this work, and you will share knowledge, learning and resources across Fauna & Flora to maximise success rate and promote best practice in grant management and donor stewardship. You may also develop and deliver training packages, in Cambridge and potentially overseas. You will monitor Fauna & Flora’s activities in statutory fundraising and fund management within your portfolio, and support internal decision-making and strategy development by sharing this learning.

Experience of working with government funding sources, be they bilateral and/or multilateral, is essential for this role. You will have proven experience of securing restricted funding from government sources, and a strong understanding of how statutory donors and funding programmes support the achievement of international targets and government priorities. Knowledge of and experience in biodiversity conservation, the development sector, and/or climate is an asset; a commitment to learning and supporting these sectors is essential. You may have worked in the non-profit sector, such as international development, or have a background in bid management, proposal development, and grant fundraising.

Strong relationship-management and communications skills are essential to the role, to develop positive, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regional teams, non-governmental partners, and government agencies. You will be diplomatic and persuasive, and your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to coordinate people and processes to meet timelines. You will be a strong team player and enjoy working in a dynamic environment where the ability to respond swiftly to changing organisational and team needs is paramount. With a proactive and pre-emptive approach to your work, you will seek to add value and work with minimal supervision.

Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Skills in languages relevant to Fauna & Flora’s programme (e.g., French, Spanish, Bahasa) are highly desirable. Sensitivity to the different working environments and capacities of colleagues around the world is also essential.

The Head of Development and Supporter Operations will play a critical role in providing strategic leadership and operational excellence to development and supporter operations. With expertise in strategic fundraising strategy and operational excellence, the role will shape objectives and ambitions for significant income growth, contributing to ZSL's vision of ensuring people and wildlife thrive.

Key responsibilities

* You will lead and manage key senior operational roles within the Development and Supporter Operations department and hold relationships with key stakeholders across ZSL.
* You will implement a comprehensive strategy across all operations functions within the development team to support ZSL's strategic objectives for income growth.
* You will drive operational excellence across all functions, including donor stewardship, event management, prospect management, writing and project development, and data management, to enhance supporter engagement and maximise fundraising opportunities.
* You will establish performance metrics and KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of operational functions and conduct regular evaluations to identify areas for improvement and optimisation, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
* You will collaborate closely with ZSL's IT teams to ensure that data and systems requirements are met effectively to support fundraising operations and foster integration and alignment of operational functions with broader organisational goals and strategies.

The Head of Development and Supporter Operations will have proven experience in senior roles within the nonprofit sector with a focus on development operations and supporter engagement. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and team management qualities with a track record in effectively leading and motivating teams to achieve organisational goals. You will have expertise in donor stewardship, event management, prospect management, fundraising writing, and data management. You will have experience in managing large-scale projects and implementing organisational change initiatives.

You will have excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. As a strong strategic planner, you will be able to develop and implement effective operational strategies to support income growth. We are looking for a high performing Product Development Manager to join the RSPB Commercial team, to manage the product sourcing for our gift categories. About the role:

This is a fixed 12 month Maternity cover role, working in our Product, Licensing and Trade team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering commercially successful gift product ranges, which help to meet the financial and strategic objectives of the trading business and wider RSPB priorities and campaigns.

This role will support the Senior Product Development Manager in developing the gift strategy to meet the needs of our retail sales channels and ambitious income targets. Spotting new opportunities and working closely with new and existing suppliers and partners, will be key to delivering products at the right cost, the right quality and in line with the seasonal critical path.

• Each day you will travel to different venues in your RSPB van, set up an attractive fundraising stand, and spend the day actively engaging with members of the public, spreading awareness about our conservation efforts and generating new RSPB memberships via direct debits.
• You will attend regular meetings with your Area Manager and regional Teams and either virtually or on occasions in person. You will undertake your course virtually.
• You will have 6 hours per week dedicated to study, which would be in addition to your development day where you will undertake training and development to further support you in your role.
