The post holder will be responsible for their own caseload. This post will involve the assessment and appropriate treatment of people presenting with mental health problems, working within NHS Talking Therapies. The post holder will be expected to attend regular supervision and may have additional areas of responsibility for clinical service development as required.
The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and work in various community settings (including GP surgeries) and psychological treatment centres.

Key responsibilities:
Clinical
1. Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service.
2. Conduct assessments and therapy over the telephone, telemedicine and face to face.
3. Offer High Intensity treatment in individual and group settings (as agreed)
4. Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the department’s referral protocols, and refer unsuitable clients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary.
5. Formulate, implement and evaluate therapy programmes for people attending the service.
6. Educate and involve family members and others in treatment as necessary, conveying formulations with sensitivity in easily understood language.
7. Take responsibility for promoting access to the services provided and the delivery of cognitive behavioural therapies in the peripheral settings where the therapist works. For example, therapists working within GP Surgeries will be expected to attend GP Practice meetings and develop and maintain professional relationships with members of the primary care team. They will be expected to promote the service by ensuring that there are readily available promotional material for both members of the public and members of the primary care team.
8. Liaise with other psychological therapy services in order to work jointly to improve provision of psychological services to local residents.
9. Plan appropriate packages of care for each service user. Liaise as appropriate with other professionals within the service and externally to effectively communicate your assessment and facilitate transfer of care to an appropriate professional.
10. Conduct risk assessments, prepare risk management plans and initiate appropriate action where indicated (including referrals to relevant secondary care services and child and adult safeguarding services)
11. Elicit outcome data from people using services and their carers. Use the TALKING THERAPIES IAPTUS system to record clinical contact details, clinical records, outcome data, and passage though the care pathway.
12. Ensure that people under your care are cared for appropriately under the stepped care framework as currently in use within the service.
13. Adhere to the operations manual and other relevant protocols and procedures as directed by your line manager.
14. Take personal (unprompted) responsibility for achieving agreed clinical activity relating to the number of therapy contact hours per week.
15. Actively contribute to and support the integration of clinical governance in the service within your own area of work and contribute to service clinical governance process in a specific area of work under the direction and supervision of a Senior Therapist.
16. Develop an area of enhanced (specialist) clinical work (e.g. PTSD, OCD, Long Term Health Conditions, Perinatal, Eating Disorders, Social phobia etc). It is expected that the areas of specialist work will shift in focus over time to reflect service need and your need to continuing professional development.
17. Carry out clinical audits of aspects of the CBT service as directed, including feedback from people who have used the service, analyse and feedback to the service verbally and in writing.
Training and Supervision
18. Attend clinical supervision in group or individual format within service.
19. Participate in peer supervision with professional colleagues.
20. Develop and engage in your own CPD, including active engagement in and use of clinical supervision of your own therapy.
21. Attend and fulfil all the requirements of the TALKING THERAPIES approved training/ workshops in line with identified professional objectives.
22. Support peer learning through attending and contributing to journal clubs and other in-house service CPD events
23. Once suitable supervision training and experience has been gained, supervise other staff as directed
Professional
24. Ensure that client confidentiality is protected at all times.
25. Co-ordinate and liaise between different staff groups within Mind in Bexley.
26. Support the CBT Service Public & Professional Educational functions by contributing to professional education program under the supervision of senior members of the department.
27. Support the CBT Service Public & Professional Educational functions by delivering interactive psycho-education within a CBT framework to large groups of Service Users under the supervision of senior members of the department.

Summary of the role and key purpose
RABI is seeking a talented and experienced Digital Communications Manager to play a key role in evolving our digital communication strategy and online presence. Reporting to the Head of Communications, the role involves overseeing all aspects of digital communications, managing social media platforms and coordinating the development of engaging content across multiple channels. The Digital Communications Manager will play a vital role in strategizing, executing, and evaluating digital initiatives to effectively convey RABI’s mission and impact, The new role will also project manage the development of a new RABI website.

Key Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy Development
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital communications strategy aligned with RABI’s organisational aims.

Social Media Management
- Manage and grow RABI’s national social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) to increase quality engagement and followers.

Person Specification:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in digital communications, social media management, content creation, strategy creation and website development.
- Demonstrated experience in project managing website development projects, ensuring successful implementation and seamless user experience.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, analytics tools, and emerging trends in the digital space.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to produce engaging content tailored for various online platforms and diverse audiences.

About the organization
Business & Human Rights Resource Centre works with diverse allies and partners to put human rights at the core of companies’ business models and end abuse; to support communities and workers in securing their rights and accountability for corporate abuse; and to encourage governments to create the right regulation and incentives to uphold human rights in business. We are a global organization rooted in five continental regions, comprised of a Global Team of 80. Global Team members work with a rich network of human rights advocates in ten languages, and place strong emphasis on our alliances with grassroots organisations facing often profound inequalities of power in protecting their rights. The efforts inform our ability to influence responsible business, investors, and governments for transformative change.
Our work covers the full gamut of human rights in business, with particular focus on three thematic programmes: just energy transition and natural resources; accountable digital technologies; and workers’ rights in global supply chains. These are strengthened by three cross cutting themes: civic freedoms and human rights defenders; corporate legal accountability; and racial and gender justice.
About the position
The Just Energy Transition and Natural Resources programme is focused on advancing human rights in business, in support toa fast and fair transition to clean energy and zero carbon economies. We seek to promote human rights across the renewable energy and batteries value chain. We are focused on mining for transition minerals, the installation of renewable energy where the fast transition is increasingly endangered by companies’ poor human rights record and policies, the lack of investor due diligence, and the absence of adequate regulation. A just transition will be one that, at minimum, ensures respect for human rights, fair negotiations, and shared prosperity with workers and communities.
The successful candidate will help lead strategic research and analysis on the renewable energy value chain from a corporate accountability perspective. This will include generating new insights and propositions for a more just energy transition through the analysis of structural causes of corporate abuse in these supply chains. In particular, the researcher will help us deepen our efforts to embed human rights, and protect and amplify the voices of human rights defenders, as an essential part of the response to the climate crisis, and a core component of the global work towards a just transition. As the Resource Centre expands its advocacy on improving the human rights policies and practices of companies in the renewable energy value chain, the senior researcher will play a key role in supporting:
- Research on community engagement, community equity models and other forms of benefit-sharing – focusing in particular on (i) unpacking cases and recommendations for ‘meaningful engagement’ with communities in the context of transition minerals mining projects, (ii) examples of Indigenous co-ownership and ownership of renewable energy and mining projects;
- Regional teams in their work on local just transitions and evidence of corporate abuses in the context of the current boom of exploration, licensing of transition minerals mining projects;
- Advocacy towards and engagement with investors and their coalitions on our just energy transition messaging and core products - Transition Minerals Tracker, Renewable Energy Benchmark, and investor guidance;
- Development of policy recommendations on the just energy transition from a business & human rights perspective; and
- Representation of the programme in key civil society fora and coalitions.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:
- Conduct and help manage in-depth research: design and help lead team in delivering high impact research and analyses that assess company abuses, policy, and practice in renewable energy and transition mineral mining sectors, particularly through the team’s core products including the Transition Mineral Tracker, Renewable Energy and Human Rights Benchmark, and resources and guidance for investors. Lead on research and writing of a briefing focused on examples and lessons learnt around engagement with communities in the mining sector. Play a leadership role in identifying opportunities and advancing the Resource Centre’s research beyond its current core products along the renewable energy value chain, including research on transition minerals and value chains, for the theme.
- Develop high quality written and digital materials: Curate and write compelling content for our website and outreach, including reports, blog posts, briefing notes and papers, and articles to be submitted to relevant media outlets.
- Conduct outreach with companies: take up allegations of abuse with company HQs to seek responses to allegations of human rights abuse, conduct follow-up outreach for remedy and build relationships to enhance human rights due diligence;
- Strategically engage with investors and their coalitions on the salient risks of the sector and coordinate workshops, roundtables, and knowledge sharing spaces, bringing together various stakeholders. Sustain and help build our active network of CSO partners and allies.
- Coordinate with BHRRC regional programmes: Work with regional researchers and our global network of external partners to identify cases of impacts of companies on human rights – with a focus on transition minerals, in order to strengthen our research process, and to strategically identify allegations of abuse for deeper-dive investigations and coordinated advocacy globally.
- Track policy and legislation: Keep abreast of, and in some cases participate in, relevant legal and policy developments, including, e.g., legislation regarding mandatory human rights due diligence, critical minerals, and promotion of renewable energy.

Using a helicopter from 08:00 to sunset, and rapid response cars at night or in adverse weather situations, London’s Air Ambulance brings the hospital to the patient when time is critical.
The team, consisting of an advanced trauma doctor, paramedic and consultant on most missions, can perform treatments such as open heart surgery, blood transfusions and general anaesthetic by the roadside. About this role

Dual Registered Manager - Residential & Supported Living Services

Salary: £43,500 per annum
Here at Norwood, we are looking for an enthusiast and driven individual to take up the role of Dual Registered Manager. This position involves managing 3 services in Ilford - 1 residential care home and 2 supported living services for adults with learning disabilities.
Key responsibilities of the Dual Registered Manager include:
- To manage the services in line with Norwood’s Vision, Mission and Values whilst ensuring compliance.
- Maintain a high-quality service working in partnership with colleagues and stakeholders to manage and support all services.
- To create and develop positive relationships with families and other professionals.
- Review budgets, staff rotas, complaints and relationship building with external regulatory bodies.
- Provide support, supervision, development and mentoring to all staff including appraisal and supervision.
- To contribute to the development of new policies and practices within the services and to maintain systems.
- Work within and maintain the quality management system for the organisation and to adhere to the CQC standards and regulations.
- Cover on-call duties on a rota basis.
- Ensure that each person’s package of support is sufficient to meet their needs and that the care and support provided is person-centred.
- Responsible for the recruitment, training, supervision and appraisal of a team of staff.
- Enable and empower the people we support to live an ordinary life as active citizens in the community, by maximising independence and promoting their choices and decisions as much as possible.
Experience and Skills required:
- Registration as Registered Person under the Health and Social Care Act (2008) is an essential requirement of this role.
- Achieved NVQ Level 5 Health & Social care.
- Previous experience working in a residential/supported living setting including supervisory responsibilities, supporting Adults with learning disabilities.
- Knowledge and understanding of current legislation including Health and Social Care Act (2008) and have experience in reviewing and monitoring service delivery.
- Strong leadership and team working skills, people management, delegation and budget setting and management.
- Willingness to undertake the Skills for Care Induction.
- Having a full clean UK driving license, with access to vehicle, is desirable.
