Save the Children UK has an exciting opportunity for a strategic, people-driven fundraising leader to join us as Supporter Led Fundraising Lead, where you will shape and grow our supporter-led fundraising portfolio, inspiring communities across the UK and beyond to raise vital unrestricted income for children.
Working within the Community Fundraising & Engagement team, you will lead the development of impactful fundraising experiences — from iconic challenge events to innovative supporter-led initiatives — ensuring supporters feel valued, motivated and connected to our mission.
About Us
Save the Children UK believes every child deserves a future. In the UK and around the world, we work every day to give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. When crisis strikes, and children are most vulnerable, we are always among the first to respond and the last to leave. We ensure children's unique needs are met and their voices are heard. We deliver lasting results for millions of children, including those hardest to reach.
About the role
As Supporter Led Fundraising Lead, you will be responsible for delivering impact through the strategic development and management of supporter-led fundraising income streams, including UK and international challenge events, committed fundraisers and individual fundraising initiatives.
This is a key leadership role within the Community Fundraising & Engagement team, suited to someone already operating at manager level who is ready to step into a senior leadership position. You will lead and coach a multidisciplinary team, working closely with colleagues across fundraising, marketing, data and communications to maximise income, engagement and lifetime value.
You will play a critical part in growing unrestricted income, strengthening supporter relationships and positioning Save the Children at the heart of local communities across the UK.
Importantly, this role offers real autonomy: there is no single blueprint for success. You will have the opportunity to shape and evolve supporter-led income streams, bring fresh thinking to challenge events and community fundraising, and put your own stamp on how we grow this portfolio.
In this role, you will:
• Lead the supporter-led fundraising squad, setting strategy and overseeing the planning and delivery of a portfolio of UK and international challenge events.
• Deliver ambitious fundraising targets by securing flexible income through high-quality events, stewardship and supporter experiences aligned to organisational impact goals.
• Identify and develop new supporter-led fundraising propositions to grow income, increase retention and build brand awareness across communities.
• Influence and collaborate with marketing, data and stakeholder teams to unlock new pipelines and opportunities for growth.
• Champion exceptional stewardship, equipping teams with the tools, insight and resources needed to build strong, lasting supporter relationships.
• Hold accountability for budgets, performance reporting, compliance, safeguarding, and health and safety across the supporter-led fundraising portfolio.
About you
To be successful, it is important that you are a strategic and collaborative fundraising leader who can inspire teams and supporters alike.
You will bring:
• Demonstrable experience working directly on challenge events, with a strong understanding of how to design, deliver and grow successful event-led income streams.
• Experience within a community fundraising team, with insight into how to mobilise and engage supporters at a local level.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams to deliver income growth and strong supporter engagement — and the readiness to step from manager level into a senior leadership role.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and driving performance improvements.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to suit different supporter audiences and influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.
• A strategic mindset, able to prioritise, balance competing demands and identify sustainable growth opportunities.
• A supporter-first outlook, combining creativity, insight and data to design compelling fundraising experiences.
• Commitment to Save the Children's vision, mission and values.
What we offer you:
Working for a charity provides one of the best benefits there is – a sense of purpose and reward for helping others. However, we understand the importance of giving back to our employees to ensure a happy and healthy working environment and work/life balance.
• We focus on flexibility, inclusion, collaboration, health and wellbeing both in and outside of work.
• We provide a wide range of benefits which will reward your hard work, motivate you, and inspire you to work to improve the lives of children every day.
Closing date: Wednesday 4th March 2026
Please note: To avoid disappointment, you are advised to submit your application as soon as possible as we reserve the right to close the vacancy early if a high volume of applications are received. This is to ensure that we can manage application levels whilst maintaining a positive candidate experience. Unfortunately once a vacancy has closed, we are unable to consider further applications.
Location & Ways of Working:
The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK, but at times you will be required to come to your contracted office (usually between 2–4 days per month, depending on the needs of your role, team, or service). For many roles, this is likely to be the minimum required to deliver impact.
This will be discussed and agreed with your manager / team and we encourage candidates to discuss our ways of working in more detail at interview stage.
Please note: travel costs to your contracted office will be at your own expense.
Flexible Working - We are happy to discuss flexible working options at interview.
Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:
Save the Children UK believes in a world that is fair, inclusive and equitable where all children have the opportunity to change their world. We apply this to our workforce and we are committed to developing and supporting a diverse, equitable, and inclusive organisation where all employees have a sense of belonging and feel that they can be "Free to Be Me". We are not looking for just one type of person - we want to recruit people who can add fresh perspectives, innovative ideas or challenge that disrupts the risk of group think.
We are especially interested in people whose childhood experiences - of life on a low income, of migration, of being in a racialised community, of the care system, of being LGBT+ or in an LGBT+ family or living with (or with someone with) a disability - help us to see things we might otherwise miss. Whatever your story is we want to hear it because we know that different voices, ideas, perspectives and knowledge, working together will enable us to better the lives of children around the world. This is the reason why we are all here.

Governance Manager
Hours: Part-Time, 3 days per week, 0.6 FTE
Contract: 12-month FTC
Salary: £50,000 per annum, pro rata
Location: King’s Cross, London
Who are we?
Art Fund is the national fundraising charity for art. With over 142,000 members, we are leading the way in pioneering support for an inclusive and welcoming museum and gallery sector across the UK.
We work closely with a network of 900 museums and respond to their needs and aspirations. We're excited to see how they want to develop: to expand and diversify their collections and workforce, develop curatorial skills, make ambitious acquisitions, and create a welcoming, inclusive space for communities. With the support of over 140,000 members who buy a National Art Pass, patrons, and donors we can provide grants, encourage visiting and advocate for museums' essential role and value.
We have diversity, inclusion, and sustainability central to our thinking and the opportunity to be a force for good, galvanise support and help change things for the better inspires our team.
The role
Founded in 1903, Art Fund is a registered charity governed by a Royal Charter that was granted in 1928.
We are seeking a part-time Governance Manager to manage Board and Committee meetings, the recruitment and induction of new Trustees, and to provide governance support and guidance to the Chair, Trustees, Director and senior staff. Working with our legal advisor and other senior staff, the role will ensure Art Fund upholds good governance practices and provides all support necessary to Trustees to enable them to discharge their legal responsibilities.
Our charter and bye-laws were amended in 2024 following a detailed review, and Board and Committee terms of reference updated in 2025. In the coming year we need to review our current governance policies and practice against the updated Charity Governance Code, identifying any gaps, and implementing any agreed actions to strengthen governance in line the updated Code. This role will also play a key supporting role in the development of Art Fund’s new strategy for 2027-2031, including co-ordinating Board input, synthesising feedback, and ensuring strategic discussions are well-evidenced and clearly documented.
This role would suit a dedicated charity professional with experience of governance and working with Boards of Trustees, ideally gained in at least two other settings, who is looking to make a real difference to governance policy and practice within an organisation.
Key Employee Benefits

- Free Entry to Exhibitions
- Life Assurance – cover for up to three times your basic salary.

The role
This is a very exciting opportunity to join our thriving organisation at a time of growth. We are seeking an experienced Head of Training, Learning and Development to provide strategic leadership of APIL’s legal training and events portfolio. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and sitting on the Senior Management Board, this role will shape and deliver a high-quality, commercially successful programme of conferences, accredited courses, webinars and in-house firm training. The postholder will be responsible for strengthening APIL’s position as a leading provider of legal education within personal injury and clinical negligence and ensuring our offer remains relevant, innovative and aligned with the needs of the legal profession.
The role involves leading and developing the Training, Learning and Development team, building strong relationships with law firms and stakeholders, and ensuring robust quality assurance across all training activity. You will use data, market insight and engagement with the sector to identify emerging training needs, create clear career-stage learning pathways and maximise income from training, sponsorship and events, while maintaining effective budgetary control.
You will be a credible senior professional with significant experience in training, learning and development, ideally within the legal sector. You will bring strong leadership and commercial skills, and be confident operating at both strategic and operational levels.

This is a rare opportunity to lead at the heart of a respected charity during a pivotal moment as we embark on an ambitious programme to modernise our estate, expand services, and create a high‑quality environment for patients, families, and our team.

In addition to providing strategic financial leadership and overseeing key resources (finance, digital/IT, estates & facilities, and health & safety), you will bring clarity, insight, and innovation by being data-driven and helping us grow new income streams that complement our fundraising, retail, and lottery operations.
For the right individual, this is a career-defining role. You will make a lasting and tangible difference: securing our financial future, enabling a once‑in‑a‑generation capital project, and ensuring our estate and resources support outstanding care for generations to come.
