About the role

With an income of over 32 million pounds last year, the work of our Finance Team is vital in supporting the wider organisation and enabling us to put our funds to the best possible use.

The role will provide leadership and expertise to AIUK's financial planning and analysis function. Reporting to the Head of Finance and with management responsibility for two Finance Business Partners, the role will take a strategic approach to the design and communication of accurate and timely financial information. The role will also drive a business partnering approach, enabling informed and proactive decision-making across the organisation.

The role will lead on ensuring financial planning and analysis processes and outputs are robust, user-friendly, and adaptable to evolving needs, providing the foundation for efficient and effective financial management. The role will collaborate across teams to maintain and build financial literacy and confidence, empowering budget holders to fulfil their responsibilities. By integrating financial planning with organisational priorities, you will drive improvements that enhance decision-making, resilience, and long-term sustainability at AIUK.

The role

Young Scot is seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial and delivery-focused leader to help shape and drive a step-change in how we generate income and build partnerships. 

This is a pivotal role at a defining moment for the organisation with the recent appointment of a new CEO, as well launching a new organisational strategic vision. As we evolve our operating model and ambitions, you will lead the development of a more diverse, sustainable and innovative income portfolio - ensuring we can continue to deliver meaningful impact for young people aged 11–26 across Scotland. 

Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team (SLT), you will design and implement a new income generation strategy, unlocking opportunities across corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, public sector funding and earned income streams. Muslim Aid is a UK faith-based international development organisation that provides support to communities around the world affected by disasters, conflict, or endemic poverty without regard to their social, religious, or ethnic background.

Summary of the role:

The Country Director will provide dynamic leadership and management to develop and deliver Muslim Aid ‘s strategy in Sudan, with a focus on leading and building a high-performing, diverse team and developing strong relationships with external stakeholders that are critical to the organisation’s growth and reputation in the country.

About the Role:

1. Ensure the country office’s programme strategy is responding to the country’s critical development and humanitarian needs, and is also aligned to organisation’s global strategy, mission and values.
2. Enhance Muslim Aid’s reputation and brand through maintaining positive relationships  other stakeholders, including government, donors, UN bodies, other INGOs, and local NGOs.
3. Identify areas for capacity building with partners such as, organisational management, gender mainstreaming, human resource management, financial management, governance, etc.
4. Line manage the country team and the work in the country which will include staff, budgets, funding (both institutional and local) and ensure programme delivery in accordance with Muslim Aid policies and procedures.
5. Proactively seek new opportunities for funding of projects through in-country and external relationship building with stakeholders including the bilateral and multilateral development partners and the submission of self-sustainable programme initiatives.
6. Ensure that there is an adequate analysis of the risks which could impact on Muslim Aid’s operations in Sudan and to evaluate the risk appetite of the Sudan Country Office.

1. Proven experience working internationally in development and/or humanitarian sector.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Hospital Engagement Manager to join the Charity team here at Alder Hey, the UK’s busiest Children’s Hospital.

This pivotal role acts as the bridge between Alder Hey Children’s Charity and the hospital community. You will inspire NHS colleagues and families to engage with the charity, embedding philanthropy into the hospital culture and helping deliver Alder Hey’s 2030 vision.

As Hospital Engagement Manager, you will build strong relationships with NHS colleagues, patients, their families and volunteers to increase awareness, engagement, and fundraising activity. Position Overview:

Epic is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Programs team to manage relationships and grants of nonprofits in our portfolio, and monitor and support their work over time. In particular, this role will lead the development and management  of a learning community to support our grantees and alumni beyond our financial support.

The Senior Programs Manager will work under the supervision of the Programs Director and they will be part of a growing team with colleagues in London and Paris.

Key responsibilities:

About the role
We are recruiting for a Research Participation Manager to join on a full-time, permanent contract working 35 hours per week. This is a home-based role, with occasional travel required for in-person stakeholder or team meetings.

As Research Participation Manager you will lead the operational delivery and support the strategic development of the Society’s research participation team. You will line manage and develop the Research Participation team and associated staff, overseeing programme performance and reporting, and ensuring all activity aligns with UK clinical research regulations, data governance requirements, and organisational priorities.

In this role, you will work collaboratively across the Society and with external partners. You will strengthen cross sector relationships, drive inclusive and culturally competent engagement, and enhance awareness of, and participation in, vital dementia research, particularly among underserved communities. Your role will also help to ensure the provision of high quality, safe, and compliant support for people accessing dementia clinical research opportunities.

You will provide leadership, expert guidance and robust programme management to maximise the reach, impact, and visibility of the Society’s research participation initiatives, increasing opportunities for people to become aware of, and participate in research; bringing forward the day when a dementia diagnosis no longer devastates lives.

About you
Joining us, you’ll have experience of working in clinical research, science or health sectors, with a good understanding of the processes and challenges facing the NHS.
