Job description

Join the team that keeps Claire House running. Are you handy with a toolkit? Love fixing things or just enjoy rolling up your sleeves to help out? Come and join the friendly Facilities Team at Claire House Children’s Hospice and make a real difference!

We’re looking for a practical, reliable, and cheerful person to help keep our hospice safe, smooth-running, and welcoming for the incredible children and families we support. Whether it's carrying out routine maintenance, helping with vehicle checks, or assisting with equipment inspections — no two days are the same!

Location: Claire House Children’s Hospice, Bebington, Wirral, CH63 4JD

  • Use your skills to help children live life to the fullest
  • Receive training and ongoing support
  • Gain valuable experience in a unique and rewarding environment
  • Meet new people and be part of a warm, welcoming team
  • Receive out of pocket travel expenses and a DBS check free of charge

⭐ You’ll Be Great If You Are:

  • Friendly, reliable, and happy to help
  • Handy with DIY or maintenance jobs (qualifications would be welcomed!)
  • A driver (bonus, but not essential!)
  • Keen to learn and make a difference
  • Live in the local area (Merseyside or Cheshire)

Come help us bring smiles and comfort when it’s needed most. Your time and skills could mean the world to a family.
