About the role:
We have a new opportunity for a highly organised individual to join our Housing Services Team, as a Housing Services & Income Administrator. With proven skills and experience of using IT and databases related to administrative tasks such as producing letters and reports with a clear focus on organisation skills, you will play an essential role with supporting the Housing Services team and Manager, and our supported accommodation teams.
In your role, you will be responsible for
- Maximising rental income and minimising loss through bad debts through efficient application SHP Procedures.
- Supporting the housing services team, and accommodation services teams to ensure that clients receive timely rent statement and letters.
- Maintaining effective management of accurate rent income records.
- Collating performance returns against KPI’s and provider monitoring returns.
The role will also require supporting the Senior Housing Services and Income Officers in dealing with repairs and building related matters, anti-social behaviour, complaints and neighbourhood disputes.
We are currently operating a blended working arrangement, that includes working from our Head Office in Kings Cross for a minimum of 3 days per week, as well as flexible occasional travel to our accommodation services across London. There is also some potential for home working, in agreement with the Head of Property Services.
The weekly working hours are 37.5 hrs, to be completed between 9am-5pm Mon- Fri, with occasional need to work outside of these times in the event of an emergency.

Purpose
The HR Administrator role is an excellent opportunity for someone with HR or admin experience, who is interested in starting/progressing an HR career and looking to gain experience in a friendly but busy small HR team. About the Role
As a Legal Officer, you will:

Support the development of legal content for trainings and workshops that address the critical legal needs facing media outlets and journalists in exile. These are likely to include registration, employment, broadcasting and intellectual property law issues in new jurisdictions, to which they have relocated.

About You

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
HBF is seeking an experienced and dynamic lawyer for an interim period to give direction to the Legal Protection, Medico-Legal and Client Services of the Foundation. This role is crucial for advancing the rights and protection of our clients, many of whom are vulnerable individuals seeking asylum or are survivors of trafficking. We do not provide legal representation directly to our clients, instead we act as a support team to our clients and their legal representation by providing second tier advice. Build and nurture cross-functional partnerships to drive strategic initiatives that enhance both organisational culture and operational effectiveness.

The person we are looking for will:
-
Have 10+ years of experience of People & Culture and DEIB experience, particularly in the non-profit/charity/social impact space.

Hold at least 5 years of experience in a legal counsel or similar role, advising on HR-related legal matters.

Possess a Juris Doctor (JD) and be licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Have significant experience in nonprofit law, including the development, review, and negotiation of contracts, compliance with relevant regulations, and governance.

Be a people-focused leader with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for fostering positive, inclusive workplaces.

Be committed to actively cultivating a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace.

Have a track record of successfully developing and implementing people strategies that align with organisational goals.

Be a strategic thinker with the ability to balance day-to-day HR responsibilities with long-term cultural and organisational development goals.

Have experience working in a global organisation, with an understanding of the complexities of international organisations, labour laws, and HR practices.

Possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide sound legal advice in complex situations.

Exhibit flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to navigate change and lead in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Have high integrity, with the ability to hold confidential information and conversations tightly.

Have excellent interpersonal skills, including feeling confident building new relationships, and negotiating challenging conversations with directness and kindness at all levels of the organisation.
