Centrepoint’s Health and Wellbeing team offer a range of services to young people living in Centrepoint services, including comprehensive health assessments, counselling and psychotherapy, and advice and support on mental health, nutrition /food poverty, drugs and alcohol; including crisis support. The team work in a holistic and person centred way that inspires and empowers young people to access appropriate health support and to address their individual health needs.

We are seeking an experienced and registered professional to take a leading role in the development of our Healthy Relationships programme, provide specialist knowledge to the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and deliver training around relationship violence to housing staff.

We are looking for someone with substantial experience of working with vulnerable young people aged 16-25. A CAADA IDVA training certificate would be desirable but not essential for the candidate with relevant experience.

What you will be doing…

  • The post holder will deliver a programme to raise awareness and provide advice and advocacy.  With experience of managing a caseload of young people, the successful candidate will utilise exceptional communication skills to build trusting and effective relationships with young people, and advocate on their behalf with other professionals and organisations.
  • The post holder needs to be able to work independently, with a strong background in risk assessments, safety planning and safeguarding.
