We are looking for a Societies Development Coordinator to provide accurate, consistent and innovative support to the 400+ clubs and societies, committees and volunteers. They will support the delivery of a variety of student led events and activities, empowering and enabling student leaders. This role will put students’ experience at the forefront of everything we do, focusing on providing excellent management of stakeholder relationships, problem solving and risk management with student activities.

We’re looking for an organised, people‑focused Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, support and coordinate volunteers across our community projects.

At Oasis Community Hub Blakenhale we provide a range of community activities including stay and play, food club, warm welcome space and adult education, community events and school holiday activities. The Role

This role will develop, support and manage a network of volunteers across England to help build both virtual and local communities for families affected by rare chromosome and gene disorders.
 
This role will lead on the recruitment, training and ongoing support of volunteers from the Unique membership to ensure they feel confident, connected and valued in their roles. Working closely with the Engagement and Communications Officer, the postholder will also help plan and run a programme of virtual events and online activities tailored to the needs of our members and encouraging supportive peer relationships between them.
 
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with experience of volunteer management and community engagement. You’ll enjoy building relationships, empowering others, and creating opportunities for people to connect and support one another.
 
This is a hybrid role which includes occasional working in our Oxted office to build relationships with our small, friendly team, as well as time spent on the ground with volunteers in different regions. We have 2 vacancies for Case Coordinators to join our No Second Night Out and Rough Sleeping Prevention Services:

• 1 x Rough Sleeping Prevention Service (Lambeth & Islington) - Fixed term contract until 31st March 2027
• 1 x NSNO West Hub (Pound Lane) - Permanent

Candidate will be considered for both roles.

Both teams provide a rapid response service, intervening to ensure no one needs to sleep rough. Clients in these services will have a range of support needs to include low to high levels of mental health and substance misuse, immigration support needs and other complex issues.

This role will best suit someone who can adapt to a fast paced environment while contributing to and drawing strength from a supportive team of experienced colleagues.

In the pivotal role of Case Coordinator, you will work flexibly to support clients where they need us the most.

What you'll be doing: 

• Work with the managers to maintain a high quality service and deliver an effective accommodation case management system.
• Provide line management, motivation and supervision to staff to ensure they can deliver thorough assessment planning with a recovery-focused approach with the aim of reaching rapid move on and positive outcomes for clients.
• Build strong relationships with partner agencies to continually improve options and ensure safe and suitable accommodation, as well as other short-term or provisions are available for clients.

Working hours will typically be Monday – Friday, 9-5. However, flexibility will be required with some early mornings or later evenings on occasion to meet the needs of the service.

About you

Job Purpose: 

This is a key role within a small but global team collaborating with a range of experts and specialists with in-depth knowledge of both the global Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting Movement and the international development sector. Working across a mix of corporate, global trusts & foundations, and institutional funders, your primary focus will be securing new funding partnerships as well as delivering excellent stewardship and management of existing partnerships. The role is responsible for making a recognisable contribution towards organisational income targets. There will be a strong focus on securing restricted income in support of a portfolio of global non-formal education programmes across key thematic areas including climate, STEM, online safety, leadership, gender-based violence prevention, and menstrual health & hygiene – all with cross-cutting themes of gender equality and advocacy. There may also be time spent on seeking and securing funding to support wider organisational projects as necessary, as well as exploring opportunities to secure unrestricted / flexible core funding. 

About You:

As our Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will work across a mix of corporate, global trusts & foundations, and institutional funders, your focus will be on securing new funding partnerships as well as delivering excellent stewardship and management of existing partnerships. You’ll need to build effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders and be comfortable working in a complex and global organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, engage, and cultivate new funding partnerships that are aligned to WAGGGS vision, purpose, and programme offer ensuring a strong and well-managed pipeline of new and qualified prospects.
• Work cross-departmentally to develop and write high-quality and compelling funding and partnership proposals with a strong case for support, ensuring they are deliverable, measurable, accurately costed, and aligned to WAGGGS strategic priorities.
• Deliver effective stewardship and management of a small number of existing funding partnerships. From contracting, partnership reporting, growth and renewal. Build and expand strong relationships with partner contacts at multiple levels, drawing on key WAGGGS senior staff to support when appropriate, and use WAGGGS communications platforms effectively to raise the profile of partnerships. 
• Work closely with colleagues and teams who directly support the 153 national Member Organisations delivering Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting globally to understand the needs, priorities, and challenges of girls and young women around the world and to engage Member Organisations for input to funding proposals, and ensure programme development reflects local needs, context, and priorities.
• Line management of one Strategic Partnerships Coordinator providing direction, support, and development opportunities for the post-holder.

We’re looking for a Dad Matters Coordinator to help us reach more families across Brent. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who understands the emotional ups and downs of becoming a dad and wants to support fathers at a crucial point in their parenting journey.

New dads can face real mental health challenges — often quietly. In this role, you’ll help dads feel listened to, supported and confident, strengthening attachment and helping them access the right support.

What you’ll be doing

• Offering coaching and advice to new dads and dads-to-be

• Having honest conversations about mental health, bonding and wellbeing

• Getting out into the community, approaching dads and building trust

• Developing and running group sessions and workshops

• Working closely with health professionals and local services so dads are included and supported

This is a hands-on, community-based role, so you’ll need to be regularly out and about in Brent, building visibility and relationships.

Job Title: Health and Nature Community Connector

Location: This role is based in Luton. The service is approximately a 20 minute walk from Luton railway station, or a short bus journey with several local bus routes stopping nearby on New Bedford Road. We are seeking a proactive, organised and compassionate individual to join our community based open recovery and wellbeing service as a Health and Nature Community Connector. In this role, you will identify members needs and provide person centred, tailored support to help them overcome challenges and improve their wellbeing through nature based activities and green landscape interventions. This is a dynamic role suited to someone passionate about the power of nature in supporting recovery and community connection. You will act as a key triage, coordination and partnership lead to ensure individuals are connected to the right level of support, whether through short term engagement within the service or onward signposting to community opportunities.

You will act as the primary point of contact a referrals, oversee volunteer buddy support and collaborate with a skilled internal team delivering interventions. This community focused role suits someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships and supporting individuals to improve their wellbeing. • Supporting members who may be facing challenges with focus on social isolation, mental health, and connection to nature
• Manage and triage referrals from self referrals and partner organisations, acting as the main triage point to ensure individuals are connected to appropriate support.
