The Sandhurst Trust is the Academy’s independent charitable foundation and is responsible for securing philanthropic support for the Academy and its community, supporting expansion, innovation and initiatives that government funding alone cannot sustain.

Director of Alumni Engagement and Regular Giving
£80,000 - £90,000 (depending on experience)

As Director of Alumni Engagement and Regular Giving and the CEO’s Deputy, you will have the chance to build and lead a best-in-class programme that will form the future foundation of the Trust’s philanthropic strategy, engaging, igniting and transforming the alumni community into a powerful and sustainable source of long-term support.

Head of Major and Principal Giving
£80,000 - £90,000 (depending on experience)

The Head of Major and Principal Giving will cultivate and secure major and principal gifts from a highly receptive and loyal constituency in the UK and internationally. With a portfolio that is rich in potential and ready for discovery, this is an outstanding opportunity for an entrepreneurial fundraiser.

Head of Operations
£50,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience with scope to go beyond for an exceptional candidate)

As Head of Operations and a member of the senior leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping the systems, governance, and operational infrastructure that will support the Trust’s long-term success. You will also play a critical role in shaping a high-performing and collaborative operational culture.

Kingston Hospital Charity is the dedicated charity for Kingston & Richmond NHS Foundation Trust. About the role

The Charity Director will provide strategic and operational leadership for Kingston Hospital Charity. Reporting to the Board, the postholder will lead the charity’s growth, profile and impact, ensuring charitable income is maximised to enhance patient care, staff wellbeing and innovation beyond core NHS funding. There is a real focus on securing major gifts to successfully deliver trust strategic priorities and other funding opportunities as well as expanding the charities’ reach and impact.

Key responsibilities include:

• Setting and delivering the charity’s long-term vision and strategy
• Leading income generation across fundraising, partnerships, philanthropy and grant funding
• Building strong relationships with clinicians, NHS trust leadership, donors and community stakeholders
• Ensuring excellent governance, financial stewardship and regulatory compliance
• Leading and developing a high-performing charity team
• Acting as a senior ambassador and advocate for the charity locally and regionally

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a senior fundraising leader to lead a small but ambitious charity team and drive income growth. You will need:

• Senior leadership experience in charities, fundraising or a relevant sector
• A strong track record of income growth and strategic development
• Experience in building relationships with high-net-worth individuals
• Outstanding stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Credibility operating at the Board and executive level
• Commercial acumen combined with a strong values-led approach
• Passion for improving healthcare outcomes and patient experience

About The Role
At Alzheimer’s Society, we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.
Every partnership, donation and gift helps make that possible. As Impact Communications Manager (12-month fixed term contract), you’ll bring that impact to life in a way that inspires major donors, trusts, foundations and corporate partners to support our work.
You’ll turn complex information into clear, compelling communications that build trust, strengthen relationships and support fundraising growth. Working across Philanthropy, Corporate Partnerships and Legacies, you’ll shape proposals, reports and engagement materials that show both the human impact and the value of supporting Alzheimer’s Society.
This is a role that blends creativity with delivery. You’ll need to think strategically, write persuasively and manage multiple priorities in a fast moving environment where quality and deadlines matter.
You’ll also lead and develop an Impact Communications Officer, working closely with another Impact Communications Manager within our High Value Operations team to shape and strengthen this specialist function.
This role is a 12-month fixed term contract.
What you'll do
You'll help our high value fundraising teams secure support, grow income and build long term partnerships. You’ll combine creative thinking with strong delivery, making sure communications are engaging, clear and effective.
You’ll lead on writing proposals, pitches, reports and stewardship materials for high value audiences, shaping messaging and turning complex information into persuasive content that drives action.
You’ll also work across the organisation to gather insight, identify opportunities and bring together stories, evidence and data that demonstrate impact. Alongside this, you’ll support donor meetings, presentations and events with high quality communications that build trust and confidence.
Key responsibilities include:

- Leading high value fundraising communications from brief to delivery
- Managing multiple projects and deadlines, making decisions to keep work on track and to standard
- Building strong relationships across teams to gather insight and identify opportunities
- Improving engagement, messaging and fundraising effectiveness through better communications
- Managing and developing an Impact Communications Officer, providing clear guidance and support
- Contributing to improvements across High Value Operations

About you
You're a skilled communicator who combines creative thinking with strong delivery. You enjoy shaping ideas, solving problems and producing work that makes a real difference.
You’re confident working with different teams and stakeholders, able to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality and focus.
You’ll bring:

- Copywriting skills, with experience of creating clear and persuasive communications tailored to different audiences
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality work to agreed deadlines
- Understanding of high value audiences such as major donors, trusts, foundations and corporate partners, or transferable experience that helps you build this understanding
- Experience of building relationships and working with stakeholders, with the ability to collaborate and work towards shared outcomes
- Experience of supporting or developing others, with a commitment to helping people grow and succeed
