Key responsibilities
Deliver the Ramblers membership acquisition programme to attract and retain new members and supporters. This includes integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns (including digital and face-to-face) and a test-and-learn approach to optimise conversion rates, sales, ROI and life-time value, with support from the Head of Member and Supporter Experience. At the Ramblers our current key acquisition channels are Digital Marketing, telemarketing and private site.
Manage our welcome and reactivation programmes (email, mail and telephone).
Using evidence-based insights, work with the Head of Member and Supporter Experience to evolve the membership proposition (embedding Ramblers new digital assets, platforms, products, offers) to enhance our relevance and reach.
Manage the acquisition budget of c£500k, producing timely reports to the Head of Member and Supporter Experience on income, expenditure and KPIs to monitor performance against plans. Lead the reforecast process for key lines accountable for and support the budget process.
Lead key acquisition projects across the organisation, delivering to time and budget.
Ensure regulatory compliance is embedded across team processes and communications in areas such as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations), Gift Aid, and the Fundraising Regulator. Ensure any agencies used adhere to the high standards we set.
Work across teams to develop and deliver engaging supporter journeys that enhance and deepen supporters’ experience of the Ramblers.

In the UK, we help people who are homeless access and sustain suitable accommodation and deliver holiday clubs for at risk children. The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Manager to grow support for our work in the UK and internationally.
You will lead the implementation of our 2026–2028 fundraising strategy, develop compelling supporter journeys and creating inspiring propositions that connect donors with the difference their generosity makes. Working closely with the CEO, Senior Management Team and Fundraising Committee, you will bring focus, energy and professional fundraising expertise to a charity with a loyal supporter base and significant potential for growth.
Key Details:
Location: UK (Flexible: Remote or Hybrid if preferred). There will be a few in-person meetings/events in our London office or other specific venues each year, with flexibility to work where convenient (office or home) most of the time.
Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week (0.6 FTE). Flexibility over how hours are distributed across the week.
Salary: £37,000 – £43,000 FTE, pro rata (c. £22,200 - £25,800 for 3 days per week), depending on experience
Start Date: September (negotiable)
Contract: Permanent
Benefits: 5% Employer Pension Contribution; 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Essential requirements:
Faith: A faithful follower of Jesus Christ, committed to the vision and values of Hww UK.
Experience: Demonstrable success in fundraising, with a strong track record in individual giving and recurring gift growth.
Strategy: Experience in building or delivering a successful fundraising strategy and compelling cases for support.
Communication: Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences (faith-based, secular, and younger donors).
CRM and Data: Confident user of a fundraising CRM, able to manage data, segment supporters and use insight to inform decisions.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team. The role will report to the Head of Marketing and Fundraising and will be responsible for developing and implementing the fundraising strategy, driving forward all aspects of fundraising, including building corporate charity of the year partnerships, individual giving, major donors,
trusts and foundations, legacies and community fundraising.
The successful candidate will be a core member of the Central Team, working closely with the Marketing Team to develop and deliver income for the charity.
This role will have budgetary responsibility to achieving a revenue target in financial year 26/27 of £1.5 million, whilst building a sustainable income stream for the long-term with Yr on Yr growth. Key priorities include increasing the Individual Giving and Regular Giving donor database, donor and fundraiser stewardship, organising fundraising events, and securing grants and sponsorships.

Context and purpose of role
At the Ramblers, our ability to connect with supporters, manage members, and empower volunteers depends on the smooth running of our CRM (Salesforce). The CRM Operations Analyst plays a vital role in making this possible.
By managing day-to-day CRM operations, handling imports, selections, and user support, you ensure that colleagues across the organisation can trust the data they use and work efficiently. Your contribution means communications are targeted and accurate, volunteer and supporter records are reliable, and teams can focus on their mission rather than system issues.
Your work ensures that colleagues can rely on accurate data and smooth processes, so supporters receive timely communications, members feel well served, and volunteers have the information they need to play their part.
Key Responsibilities
User Support & Administration
Provide first-line technical support for Salesforce, resolving user issues related to access, new fields, layouts, and general functionality, escalating complex configuration or system-wide issues to the Senior Database Administrator where required.
Provide second-line support for record-level data issues (e.g. duplicates, permissions, missing fields, or data discrepancies), escalating where necessary for complex data or automation errors.
Provide guidance to staff on how best to use Salesforce for their day-to-day needs.
Maintain and update user accounts, roles, and permissions.
Deliver basic in-house training sessions and user guides to support adoption.
Day-to-day responsibility for co-ordinating routine GDPR-related deletion requests.
Data Management & Imports
Manage regular data imports
Run reconciliations with Finance to ensure CRM records align with income systems.
Support data quality initiatives, including deduplication and validation.
Maintain GDPR consents, preferences, and data hygiene standards.
Reporting & Dashboards
Build and update simple CRM reports and dashboards.
Help staff use reports effectively, and create custom reports where needed
Collaborate with the Analyst Engineer and Data Analyst to ensure consistency between CRM and business insights dashboards.
Configuration & Changes
Make declarative (no-code) changes to Salesforce (e.g. page layouts, fields, validation rules, workflows).
Support the Senior Salesforce DBA in testing and deploying small changes.
Help enforce configuration standards and document processes.
Integrations & Pipelines (Support Role)
Monitor automated data flows between Salesforce and other systems (e.g. Azure Data Factory pipelines, Mailchimp).
Escalate complex pipeline or automation issues to the Senior Database Administrator or Analytics Engineer.
Support basic configuration tasks to ensure reliable system-to-system connections.

Essential
· Hands-on experience using Salesforce (ideally beyond “super-user” level, but full Admin certification not required).
· Familiarity with data imports and reconciliation processes.
· Ability to write and run SOQL or SQL queries at a basic level.
· Experience building reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling supporter data.
· Good communication skills, with the ability to support non-technical colleagues.
· Understanding of GDPR and the importance of data protection.
Desirable
· Salesforce Administrator certification (or willingness to work towards it).
· Experience in a not-for-profit, membership, or fundraising environment.
· Familiarity with Gift Aid, Direct Debits, or other fundraising processes.
· Exposure to Azure Data Factory or other data pipeline tools.
· Experience supporting email/marketing integrations (e.g. Mailchimp, Marketing Cloud).
