Background and overall purpose of the role:
The People Team at ARUK is undergoing a transformation that will position it brilliantly to enable the successful delivery of the organisation’s strategy. The purpose of the People Team in delivering the organisations goals is to empower our colleagues to thrive by shaping exceptional experiences and culture that unlocks their potential — so ARUK can realise it's vision of a world free from the fear, harm and heartbreak of dementia. This role will play a pivotal role in mapping and creating a shared understanding of the employee experience, defining the aspirational employee experience and supporting the People team in designing tailored, inclusive and innovative solutions to deliver and improve people practices that will deliver the best ever experience.
A key enabler of this will be to design an inclusive continuous listening strategy that will mean our employees have a voice and we are regularly able to gather that insight to help shape people practices.
This is a new role and so there is opportunity for the post holder to shape this role, however it is expected that they will use internal and external data and insight, embed a continuous listening approach and use and embed design thinking practices to develop tailored people solutions.
This is an 18-month FTC.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the creation of an employee experience map across the entire employee journey and use workforce insight to understand the current experience of colleagues.
· Design, implement and embed a continuous learning approach to regularly gather employee insight and feedback to inform the People strategy and design of people initiatives and products.
· Implement an engagement platform to regularly measure employee engagement and sentiment and develop a simple framework that leaders and managers can use to act on the insight.
· Using data and workforce insight create employee persona’s to facilitate targeted, tailored people-centric interventions that will enable delivery of the organisation’s strategy.
· Use design thinking approaches to redesign people products and build this capability within people team
· Support with OKR setting and prioritisation of work based on insight
· Bring thought leadership and emerging concepts in employee experience into ARUK and the People Team, and review benchmarking data and insight to suggest improvements and enhancements.
· Map the employee value proposition and develop the employer brand alongside the Resourcing Team to attract talent to ARUK.
· Assess leadership and management practices and wider people practices and policies and their impact on the employee experience
· Create inclusive approaches that positively impact engagement from the start through to end of the employment journey
What we are looking for:
Knowledge, skills and experience needed:
· Knowledge and experience of developing a continuous listening approach and embedding tools and platforms to gather regular employee insights and improve engagement.
· Experience of customer and employee journey mapping to be able to identify moments that matter and understand pain points to drive improvements.
· Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
· Excellent communication skills to be able to engage and build relationships with colleagues at all levels.
· Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and people processes and practices and demonstrable experience of assessing gaps and working with people practitioners to develop initiatives to drive improvement.
· Good understanding of EDI and incorporating these considerations into the design of people practices along the employee lifecycle.
· Knowledge and experience of human centric service design and design thinking approaches to develop people processes and practices.
· Excellent story telling skills to be able to engage internal audiences on the employee experience landscape.
· Excellent data analysis skills and the ability be able to derive insight from various data sources to understand and communicate employee and cultural sentiment.

Ways of working:
As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

About this job
The MS Society has made a huge investment in technology to implement a new CRM system to enable us to improve in use of our data and to streamline contact with the MS Community, including Services, Fundraising and directed communications. This is the Organisation’s key, central system.
90% of all funding for the charity is processed through the CRM system including Gift Aid, regular giving and special events, Direct Debits. This role is critical and responsible for the end-to-end processes working and, therefore, the income being processed and collected in a timely fashion.
The role will be part of a CRM team responsible for managing and supporting functionality and data integrity within the CRM system. The role is also responsible for managing key internal and external relationships at all levels.
The role is also responsible for delivering the 1st, 2nd line support of the CRM system as well as building import templates, workflows and that data within is clean, accessible and available.
The successful candidate is expected to be an expert in their field.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking a confident and proactive Public Affairs and Media Officer to join our Media and Public Affairs team at an exciting time for child health policy and advocacy.
This is a varied and high-impact role at the heart of our influencing work. You will help shape and deliver campaigns that call on decision-makers to strengthen the child health workforce and services, tackle child health inequalities across the UK, and protect children’s rights. You will support the College’s public affairs, campaigning and media activity; ensuring paediatricians’ voices are heard where they matter most.
As Public Affairs and Media Officer, you will monitor political and media developments, identify opportunities to influence parliamentarians and stakeholders, and provide high-quality briefings and communications content to support our advocacy priorities. You will work collaboratively across the College, including with colleagues in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, to deliver coordinated, UK-wide influencing activity.
The role also includes supporting the day-to-day management of the RCPCH press office, drafting press materials, leading media monitoring, and contributing to social media and digital campaigning activity.

The Café – Nourishing Food, Nurturing Community
Our café is the social heart of The Bridge — a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive space where everyone can connect, share, and feel at home. Serving seasonal, plant-based meals prepared in-house, the café champions women-led enterprises and affordable, healthy food. It hosts many of our wellbeing and creative programmes, and through initiatives like the Pay-What-You-Can Supper Club, supports emerging women chefs and builds everyday acts of care and solidarity. The café has the opportunity to not only advances our mission of improving women’s health and wellbeing but also generates vital trading income and partnership opportunities.
While it currently operates at a deficit, it plays a vital role in advancing our wellbeing and community objectives. We are now focused on realising its full commercial potential. Room Hire – Spaces that Enable Collaboration and Impact
Our professional meeting and event spaces are used by charities, community groups, and corporate partners for workshops, training, and strategic planning. With over 500 bookings a year and a 89% return rate, these rooms are known for their quality, warmth, and service. The income they generate supports our wider mission, while also acting as a catalyst for new partnerships and collaborations.
We now aim to build on this success by increasing utilisation on our most popular days (Tuesday to Thursday) and attracting new clients to fill capacity on Mondays, Fridays, evenings, and weekends. Plans include developing loyalty packages for regular clients and introducing new offers such as team wellbeing days that align with our health and wellbeing ethos. This approach will not only maximise income potential but also strengthen The Bridge’s role as a space where organisations connect, collaborate, and thrive.
Key responsibilities:
1. Income Generation Strategy

Key Responsibilities:
Strategy, finance, and reporting

About the Senior Communications Lead
The Senior Communications Lead is a senior, hands-on leadership role, reporting to the Executive Lead, and responsible for shaping and delivering BBA’s cross-channel communications strategy. About the role:
As Head of Fundraising and Communications, you will provide strategic leadership across all fundraising and communications activity. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring integrated, impactful and compliant activity that grows income, enhances supporter experience and strengthens our brand and reputation.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will work closely with the CEO and Trustees, contributing to organisational strategy, governance and long-term planning.
This is a maternity cover position, expected to commence June 2026 for a maximum period of 12 months.
As the nature of this position involves responsibility for public money as well as daily access to sensitive financial and personal information the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Basic DBS check.
About you
We are looking for a strategic, confident and values-driven leader with a strong track record in both fundraising and communications.
- You will be an experienced and confident fundraising and communications professional with a strong track record of leading successful, multi-income stream fundraising programmes and delivering impactful marketing and communications activity.
- You will have proven experience of operating at a senior management level, with the ability to think and act strategically while also ensuring high-quality delivery across day-to-day activity. You will be an inspiring and supportive leader, with experience of motivating and developing teams to achieve ambitious targets and deliver excellent supporter experiences.
- You will bring strong financial and commercial awareness, with experience of setting and managing budgets and using data and insight to inform decision-making and improve performance. You will be confident managing risk, ensuring compliance, and working within regulatory frameworks relevant to fundraising, marketing and communications.
- You will be an excellent communicator, able to build productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including trustees, senior colleagues, funders, corporate partners, agencies and supporters. You will be highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.

About Friends of Ibba Girls School (FIGS)
Friends of Ibba Girls School, South Sudan (FIGS), is a registered UK Charity (114620) set up in 2011, at the request of local community leaders to help build and develop a girls’ boarding school in South Sudan. Ibba Girls Boarding School now educates over 320 primary and secondary school girls from across Western Equatoria State and employs around 40 staff.
The school provides high-quality education in a context where most girls leave school before completing primary education and very few reach secondary level. FIGS is a relatively small UK-based charity with a strong national reputation and a substantial impact, demonstrating what high-quality girls’ education can achieve in South Sudan. FIGS works closely with Windle Trust International, which provides technical, financial and organisational support to the school in South Sudan.
FIGS raises approximately £500,000 each year to meet the running and development costs of IGBS and FIGS. Fundraising and effective communications are therefore central to our mission. We are a small team and are looking for someone who will thrive in a varied role, is proactive, organised, and capable of handling multiple demands, with a readiness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.
The Role
This role involves supporting both fundraising and communications activities, alongside essential administrative functions. The Fundraising and Communications Officer will play a key role in implementing FIGS’ fundraising and communications plans, supporting donor engagement, campaigns, events, and day-to-day operational administration. You will be working closely with our Head of Fundraising and Communications, ensuring that FIGS has the resources to continue to support the education and boarding of over 320 marginalised girls in South Sudan.
The role is home-based but requires the ability and willingness to travel to fundraising and supporter events across the UK, including occasional evenings and weekends.
FIGS is a trustee-led charity, with an active and engaged Board that plays a hands-on role in governance, strategy, fundraising and ambassadorial work. Trustees bring a wide range of experience, including diplomacy, international development, education, finance and communications, and work closely with staff to ensure the charity is well-run, accountable and effective.
While Trustees retain strategic oversight and are closely involved in key decisions, FIGS also has a small paid staff team responsible for day-to-day operations, fundraising delivery and communications. The culture is collaborative and supportive, with regular interaction between Trustees and staff, and a shared commitment to the success of Ibba Girls Boarding School.

This role sits at the heart of FIGS’ fundraising and communications work. You will work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Communications, interact regularly with Trustees (particularly around campaigns, events and reporting), and help ensure that systems, supporter engagement and communications run smoothly and professionally.

Fundraising and Communications
