Education:

We're looking for an experienced leader with expertise in leading national campaigns or programmes, and of working in partnership management at the highest level, across public, private and charity sector organisation. You will be a powerful communicator able to ensure a powerful and engaging national campaign.
Key responsibilities within the role will include:
- Develop and deliver the strategy for the charity to create new audiences for their mission across the UK, especially addressing target audiences for the campaign
- Ensure the campaign combines a consumer facing campaign as well as the mobilisation of national and local partners from the public and business sectors, as well as from civil society and influencers and celebrity talent
- Building campaign supporters into partnership to deliver the campaign and create an ongoing movement engaging new audiences beyond the campaign year

- Lead the campaign team of six reports, including four direct reports
- Lead and support the campaign Fundraising Lead as they ensure the campaign meets its fundraising goals
- Ensure the campaign has clear performance indicators; and commission and publish an evaluation report on completion

About the role
We’re looking for a Associate Director of Brand & Marketing Communications with excellent brand, marketing and digital experience at a leadership level to lead our Brand and Marketing Communications Team.
You'll provide inspirational leadership to a key team at the heart of our organisation. You’ll be responsible for the development and execution of our brand, marketing and digital strategies. We are looking for a strategic, self-motivated and entrepreneurial Deputy Director to support the long-term success and sustainability of Nottingham Contemporary. The Deputy Director works closely with the Director, Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Board to deliver the strategic direction, business planning and lead the operational management of the organisation.
The Deputy Director is responsible for the effective internal operation of the organisation, embracing its administrative, facilities, financial, personnel, IT and legal functions as well as its income generation growth strategy. The post holder has executive responsibility for the development and delivery of all aspects of the Business Plan and Arts Council England’s National Portfolio funding agreement, monitoring all Key Performance Indicators. The Deputy Director works with the Director and SLT to shape a sustainable future for the Gallery, maximise income generation and reduce environmental impact.
The role
Your main accountabilities will include:
- Develop operational policies, procedures and documentation, including risk management, ensuring they are up to date and reflect the organisation’s values and align with the Arts Council’s Investment Principles.
- Lead the organisation’s business plan alongside the Director and with support from the SLT, ensuring this is in line with the organisation’s vision, offer, purpose and values.
- Manage the preparation and submission of annual applications to key public sector funders, including Arts Council England, Nottingham City Council and HE partners by providing relevant departmental data and information.
- Lead responsibility for all aspects of financial management and administration of the organisation, including related regulatory reporting.
- In liaison with the Director and SLT, set and manage annual and multi-year budgets and resources, providing suitable reporting on a regular basis to the Director, budget holders and Trustees.
- Ensure that legal responsibilities of Nottingham Contemporary are met including charity, company and health and safety, liaising with solicitors as required.
- Ensure the efficient maintenance and excellent presentation of the building.
- Spearhead income generation strategies in the business plan with support from the Director and Senior Development Manager to diversify and increase the gallery’s revenue streams.
- Oversee the promotion and communication of Nottingham Contemporary’s artistic and educational programmes and commercial activities across all platforms, including print, press, digital and social media.
- Develop and manage key local and regional partnerships, and working relationships with regional and national tourism organisations.

The Role
As CEO, you’ll be the strategic lead for the charity with some operational oversight too. You will work closely with the Board of Trustees, oversee a small but high-performing team, and serve as the face of the organisation for key funders, partners, and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:
● Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term plans aligned with our mission.
● Fundraising & Income Generation: Drive major donor pitches, manage key sponsor relationships, and grow revenue through campaigns and events.
● Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate relationships with charitable partners, corporate partners, government departments, national sports bodies, local authorities, and disability groups.
● Marketing & Communications: Oversee PR strategy, digital presence, and communications.
● Governance & Operations: Ensure regulatory compliance, oversee HR and finance, and maintain a strong organisational infrastructure.

The Opportunity
The Director role is a new opportunity working across ImpactEd Evaluation. Our partnerships encompass education organisations such as charities, edtech organisations and government, and schools and multi-academy Trusts. Across all our partnerships, we aim to design and deliver high-quality research and evaluation projects that help our partners make better decisions for children using good evidence.
As a Director, you will be a senior leader of the evaluation practice and a statutory director on our Practice Board. Reflecting this, you will have a key role in the success of the practice, both commercially and in terms of social impact, and help to shape and deliver the strategy for ImpactEd Evaluation as a practice within ImpactEd Group, reporting to the Practice Lead.
The role will be a combination of business development, oversight and support of evaluation delivery, and strategic responsibilities. You will lead a number of sales and marketing campaigns, and support the design and delivery of our product offerings within those areas, as well as other priority strategic projects. You will also lead on a small number of high-priority partner engagements directly, and play a significant role in overseeing and quality assuring partnerships led by others.
The role would be ideal for a candidate with deep understanding of research and evaluation, a track record in business development, and the ambition to shape the leadership and direction of a growing social enterprise.

At an exciting and key stage in our journey we have the opportunity for Youth and Community Directors to join our team supporting Oasis’ youth and community work in neighbourhoods in the following regions;
- London and South East (North, Central and South London and Kent - five local Oasis charities)
- North West (Greater Manchester – two local charities, and two regionwide youth violence contracts)
- North East (NE Lincs, Humber, Bradford and Sheffield – four local charities)
With accountability to the Oasis CEO for Youth and Community the role of the regional Youth and Community Director will have three main functions:
1 Strategic management oversight of local Youth and Community teams

Jobholder Requirements
Essential:
- Substantial experience leading and developing programmes focused on digital skills, training, and transition to employment, particularly in the Global South.
- Experience working within NGO or non-profit contexts, including managing donor-funded programmes.
- Proven ability to engage with a wide range of labour market stakeholders, especially the private sector, to improve employment and decent work outcomes.
- Strong understanding of current developments in AI and digital technologies and their implications for employment and labour markets in African and Global South contexts.
- Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to produce detailed reports and deliver presentations.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to plan from both programmatic and organisational perspectives.
- Excellent leadership, networking, and stakeholder engagement skills, with diplomacy and tact.
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments and work effectively within diverse teams.
- Experience developing and adapting technical guidance and programming tools.
- A clear commitment to disability inclusion, equality, and justice in digital and employment spaces.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally for up to 12 weeks per year.
