We are seeking a talented Communications Manager to amplify UnLtd’s voice and influence within the sector while shining a spotlight on the incredible work of social entrepreneurs. This role is about balance: telling inspiring stories that bring their journeys to life, while also demonstrating measurable outcomes, addressing challenges, and showcasing how our unique funding and support model drives impact.
As a core member of a small, collaborative team, you will create and deliver high-quality communications across multiple channels. Your work will include managing media relations, overseeing day-to-day digital communications and social media, updating and optimising website content, producing marketing and campaign materials, managing communications projects, and supporting events.
We are looking for someone with experience in a broad communications role, including press office expertise, who thrives in a dynamic environment and brings a proactive, learning mindset. This is a great opportunity to join the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) as the Organic Social Media Manager for Soccer Aid for UNICEF.
You will oversee the day-to-day creation, delivery and scheduling of Soccer Aid for UNICEF cause and fundraising content across UNICEF UK and Soccer Aid social media channels. You will work with the Head of Organic Social Media, the Senior Content Manager and internal and external stakeholders to generate ideas, develop briefs, and support the production of social media assets that align with Soccer Aid for UNICEF’s fundraising and cause objectives and social media expertise.
To be successful in this role you will need significant experience in developing and delivering social media strategies for campaigns that drive engagement and action across a range of platforms, with a strong understanding of how to optimise these channels to achieve objectives.
Extensive knowledge in producing, writing and editing content for social media channels and content management systems including Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and Twitter (X),with a strong understanding of how to optimise these channels and to achieve business objectives, is also essential.
As a fixed term contract tied to the Soccer Aid for UNICEF campaign for 2026, candidates must be available during the months of May and June and should ideally be able to start w/c 26th January 2026, or no later than w/c Monday 5th February 2026.

The Migraine Trust is the only UK migraine charity providing information and support, campaigning for awareness and change, and funding and promoting research.
One in seven people in the UK live with migraine, and this complex and debilitating neurological disorder significantly affects their lives. We have been leading and bringing the migraine community together to change this since 1965.
Every year we support millions of people through our website and support services on all aspects of migraine and for help in managing it at work, in education, and in accessing healthcare. We campaign for increased awareness and understanding of migraine, and national policy change to improve the lives of people who get it. We have funded over 140 medical research projects and hold an international symposium every two years to bring together the world’s leading experts on migraine.
The role
People living with migraine are at the heart of our organisation, while our research highlights the urgent need to reduce the inequity we see for those living with the condition. You will ensure their voices are heard by decision makers and the public and get closer to our vison of ‘a world where migraine doesn’t stop anyone from living the life they want’.
You should be able to deliver high-impact communication campaigns, and have a real interest in policy. A skilled communicator yourself, you will be able to manage a broad role with the ability to build and nurture relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Overall, you’ll bring a desire to create positive change.
You’ll work closely with the CEO and be a key member of The Migraine Trust’s Senior Management team, leading our strategic direction on communications activity alongside targeted public and political campaigns.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of the organisation’s 2026 policy and communications plans and coordinate the development of plans and budgets for 2027
- Oversee development and delivery of the charity’s policy and public affairs strategy, ensuring a strong evidence base and meaningful involvement of people living with migraine
- Manage work our public affairs agency to deliver targeted influencing projects to improve migraine care, workplace support, and parliamentary engagement
- Shape policy recommendations and develop strategies to engage key stakeholders including parliamentarians, policymakers, clinicians, employers and partner organisations
- Monitor the external policy environment identifying risks, opportunities and emerging issues relevant to migraine
- Work with the team to develop and execute creative and impactful communications campaigns to raise the profile of the charity and tackle misunderstanding around migraine
- Ensure content across all channels – including media, digital, social and publications - is on brand and reflects our values and core messaging
- Ensure our online presence meets the needs of our stakeholders, and is fit-for-purpose for current and future organisational needs
- Oversee production of relevant reports, marketing materials and key publications working with freelance agencies and designers as required
- Work closely with Fundraising colleagues to identify and develop opportunities that support organisational growth
- Ensure all those living with migraine and their voices are central to our policy, campaigning and communications work
- Act as a spokesperson when necessary, representing the charity externally

ABOUT THE ROLE
Variety is looking for a Social Media Officer to join our Fundraising and Marketing team. Reporting to the PR and Communications Manager, the role will be vital in positioning Variety as a highly impactful charity and supporting our mission to fund life-changing practical support to disabled and disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
You will be responsible for creatively growing our social media channels to increase engagement and reach new audiences. This includes content planning and ensuring our channels reflect Variety’s campaigns, programmes and brand. You’ll lead on community management and play a key role in developing and maintaining the charity’s content library.
Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will help create integrated social media plans and support live coverage from our wide range of fundraising and cause-led events. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Manage social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) and engage with audiences, including Variety ambassadors.
● Keep the social media schedule up to date (using Hootsuite) with consistent posting and avoiding clashes by planning in advance.
● Create engaging content that aligns with our overall mission by interviewing beneficiaries, creating graphics on Canva and filming reels and videos.
● Ensure social media content is child-centric and accessible.
● Attend events to capture social media content (these will always be pre-agreed in advance).
● Undertake analysis of social media outputs to ensure content is engaging and effective and then shape future content based on learnings.
● Community management of our social media channels, responding to posts and engaging with followers.
● Keep up to date with the industry by horizon scanning the charity sector and social media generally for the latest trends.
● Support the PR and Communications Manager as needed.
● Participate in staff meetings, fundraising team meetings and contribute to the success of Variety’s fundraising and communications strategy.

MAIN BENEFITS, TERMS AND CONDITIONS
25 days holiday pro-rata (we also normally give between Christmas and New Year off, but this is not contractual). The Holocaust Educational Trust team is made up of hard working, energetic people who are passionate about our mission to educate every person from every background in the UK about the Holocaust and its relevance today.
Over the course of our history, the Trust has created a delivered innovative a meaningful learning experiences and educational programmes which reach over 100,000 young people each year, teaching them about what the Holocaust was, and its relevance today. The schools’ programmes we delivery include our Outreach/survivor speaker programme; our Lessons from Auschwitz Project; the Youth Advocacy/Ambassador Programme; Testimony 360: People and Places of the Holocaust; and Teacher Training.
The Marketing and Communications Officer plays a pivotal role in enhancing the visibility of, and driving registrations to, the Holocaust Educational Trust’s programmes with schools across England. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the visibility of, and driving registrations to, the Holocaust Educational Trust’s Department for Education funded ‘Supporting Survivor Testimony in Teaching’ initiative – specifically supporting a drive to engage and register schools, ensuring schools across England are inspired to take part through compelling and effective marketing and communications. The post’s work ensures that schools across the UK are inspired to engage with our programmes, building long term and ongoing relationships.
Key responsibilities
All of the responsibilities below are achieved by working closely with the Trust’s programmes team and with the various external MarComms agencies that provide support to the Trust, ensuring that a programme of compelling content and campaigns is shared across email, social media, and web platforms, all designed to inspire teachers and school staff to engage in our programmes and initiatives. As our in-house link to the MarComms agency, you will:
- Support with the development and implementation of an integrated marketing plan, which will drive school engagement, and will translate in to school registration on to the government funded ‘Supporting Holocaust Survivor Testimony in Teaching’ initiative.

The Role
This role will play a crucial part in supporting a wide range of fundraising, marketing, and communications activities for Cosmic. As a key member of the Income Generation team, the individual will help raise vital funds and awareness that enable and enhance the charity’s work, whilst also contributing to the delivery of effective marketing and communications that promote our impact and engage our audiences.
This role requires someone with a genuine interest in working across multiple fundraising areas — from corporate partnerships and community fundraising to individual giving, events and challenges, trusts and foundations, event support for Cosmic led events, and in-memory and legacy giving. You will bring strong organisational, communication, and creative skills to support activity across these streams. In addition, you will collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Manager to develop engaging social media content, enhance brand visibility, and contribute to impactful digital and supporter communications across all of Cosmic’s channels.
This varied and dynamic role will include research, administration, planning, content creation, and creative thinking. You will support the delivery of fundraising activities, events, initiatives, and campaigns, as well as contribute to marketing efforts such as social media, email newsletters, website updates, and storytelling. A key part of the role will be ensuring our supporters, donors, and online audiences receive high-quality, consistent, and engaging communications. With the wider team’s support, the role will also aid the growth of new corporate partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
1. Fundraising and income generation support
- Working alongside and supporting members of the Income Generation team, gaining a better understanding of the various fundraising and income generation activities.
- Be a key contact for fundraising enquiries.
- Collation and sending of information, including fundraising materials, to potential and current supporters and advising on queries relating to fundraising.
- Support the organisation, planning, promotion, and delivery of fundraising, stewardship and other events.
- Ensure that all fundraising activity operates with the Fundraising Regulator’s guidelines, code of practice and GDPR practices.
- Identify and support opportunities to raise awareness of the charity including giving presentations, attending meetings and local events.
- Aid the growth of individual giving programmes, including regular giving, one-off donations, and donor stewardship journeys.
- Assist in researching, writing, and submitting grant applications to trusts, foundations, and statutory funders.

- Social media content capture and uploading of activities at all Cosmic led events onto all relevant channels.
- Coordinate social media channels, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Support marketing campaigns for fundraising events, appeals, and awareness initiatives.
- Work with the Marketing and Communications Manager to ensure brand consistency across all supporter-facing materials.
- Gather stories, quotes and visuals from beneficiaries, supporters, and partner organisations (with appropriate permissions) to promote activities and support to Cosmic.

- Assist in producing digital assets, such as graphics, short videos, and email campaigns.

3. Cross-team and administrative responsibilities
- Work closely with the Senior Fundraising Executive, and wider Income Generation team to ensure smooth coordination between fundraising and marketing activities.
- Liaise with clinical partners, hospital staff, and external stakeholders to gather information that supports fundraising and communications content.
- Support the implementation of internal processes for campaign planning, supporter stewardship, and content production.
- Attend events, meetings, and training sessions as needed to represent the charity.
- Provide general administrative support to the fundraising and marketing functions including processing donations, handling enquiries, and maintaining shared resources.
- Contribute ideas and feedback to help refine and develop the charity’s fundraising and marketing approach.
- Audit the inventory of all materials necessary for both events and volunteering.
- Sending thank you letters to supporters in a timely manner.
- Spending time meeting with families and staff on the units, using this time as an opportunity to build positive relationships. Supporting the Service Delivery team with massage days for the clinical staff and other key events such as World Prematurity Day and other ad hoc and seasonal activities.

Summary
The National Safeguarding Team provides professional safeguarding advice to the Church of England on matters of national policy as part of its wider transformation plan, which includes the development and implementation of national policy, training, quality assurance and audit, and work with survivors. The national safeguarding team also leads complex casework and supports dioceses in their safeguarding of children and adults.
An investigation by the Independent Inquiry Child Sexual Abuse conducted in 2019 has highlighted some areas for improvement in the Church of England Safeguarding Structure and Practices. This investigation reviewed the extent to which the Church of England and the Church in Wales protected children from sexual abuse in the past. It also examined the effectiveness of current safeguarding arrangements. A public hearing on these specific areas was held in 2019. The report, published in 2020, also drew on the previous two case studies on the Anglican Church, which related to the Diocese of Chichester and Peter Ball. In addition to recommendations made in the case studies, IICSA made eight recommendations in this report, covering areas such as clergy discipline, information-sharing and support for victims and survivors.
The Redress Scheme project is part of the Church of England's Safeguarding Programme, which aims to embed structure, quality assurance and continuous improvement in line with its Safeguarding principles. Following the Church of England's recently approval of a comprehensive redress scheme for survivors of Church-related abuse, the project is now moving into the implementation phase, and we are looking for a new member of the team to help us prepare for the opening the Scheme.

The Role

About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:

Main duties and responsibilities:
· Line management and mentoring 5 direct line reports and oversight accountability for a team of 33 whole time equivalent employees (53 people) and 500 volunteers
· Maintain and improve our performance at the top of the charity retail sector nationally
· Hold oversight of leases and ensure effective lease management
· Accountability for delivering more than £3.5m in annual sales, with levels of engagement, profit and performance that deliver the strategic aims of the Charity
· Accountability for retail Gift Aid income and HMRC compliance assuring at least £300k annually from retail claims
· Project manage the process of new shop openings as required
· Accountability for customer complaints, health and safety, fire safety and environmental health across all retail premises working closely with our estates team to assure compliance
· Ensure our shops operate as a physical and digital front door to the hospice, creating a dynamic interactive culture
· Collaborate effectively with peers and colleagues, operating in adherence to the values and ethos of the Hospice
· Contribute to the design, development and implementation of the trading road map, annual budget and profit projections, annually and over 3- 5-year timescales to match the strategic development timelines of the Charity
· Maximise the potential of Electronic Point of Sale to drive performance and provide regular KPI reports internally at all levels, motivating the shop teams, in accountability to the Trading Board and our committees, Board and AGM
· Maintain an up to date understanding of high street trends and charity retail trends and ensure our merchandising, product development, social media and retail innovation maintains our competitive edge
· Assure windows and shop floors meet the highest standards of engagement and stand out on the high street embedding the ‘owned brand’ and social impact
· Accountable for ensuring a programme of community engagement and events where our shops are community hubs
· Leading projects including lead responsibilities in the set up and opening of new shops
· Implementation of goal setting, career development reviews and routine and regular supervision and team meetings to build an inspiring successful team culture and empower individual performance
· Use a range of digital systems effectively in the management of the business and in communication, including social media, on-line analysis of reach and click rates
· Represent the Trading Directorate at Health and Safety Committee, attend the Trading Board, as required Income generation committee and deputise for the Director at Executive Meetings, deputising for the Director of Sustainable Trading as required
· Embeds equality, diversity and inclusion across trading processes and practices
· Represent the organisation as ambassador and contribute to maintaining the wider public presence of the Charity.

· The senior responsible manager in Trading, holding overall accountability for all aspects of our charity retail operation
· As an ambassador for the organisation maintaining excellent relationships with all suppliers and partners
· Lead a team of 33 whole time equivalent employees (51 people) and 500 volunteers to deliver at least £3.5m in sales and at least £300k in gift aid annually
· Ensure our shops operate as a physical and digital front door to the hospice, creating a dynamic interactive culture
· Lead, manage and coach a culture of openness to engage the diversity of the community as customers, donors, staff and volunteers
· Detailed understanding and analysis of data from a range of sources in order to collate and provide timely effective verbal and written reports, to agreed schedules, reporting on and managing performance, risk, variance, effectiveness, trends and the cut through impact of innovation
· Collaborate internally and with external partners to maintain a range of projects with local colleges teaching and training in fashion, design and social media, including joint events and succession pipelines with apprenticeships, DoE volunteer placements and internships

The Ambassador Relations Manager is a strategic relationship and project manager who will nurture and develop key relationships with high–profile supporters and deliver the highest level of project output management supporting UNICEF UK’s priority objectives. Additionally, the successful candidate will specifically work with key external stakeholders within the Music industry to deliver a priority income generating project, maximising opportunities for UNICEF UK.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with high-profile celebrities, within the charity sector, including long-term relationship management and a strong understanding of risk management. They will also have excellent communication skills and experience of supporting complex cross-organisational projects.
