What is campaigning?
These are some of the things you could do as a Campaigns Volunteer! Our team will be here to support you in whatever you’re doing.
- Sharing the MND Association’s campaigns on social media.
- Contacting local councillors to improve services for people living with and affected by MND in your area.
- Talking to MPs and other decision-makers about what MND is and why it’s important that people have access to high quality health and care services.
- Working with MND Association staff to identify issues and gather evidence for campaigns.
- Help to change laws to improve the lives of people living with and affected by MND.
This role will suit you if:
- You want to make a positive difference for people living with and affected by MND.
- You’re interested in learning and improving your campaigning skills.
- You’re a good communicator. No matter where your interest lies, be it writing e-mails or talking to people, sharing stories or providing us with feedback, you have so much to offer!
- You are computer literate and have access to email and the internet, or someone who can help you with this.
- Willing to work autonomously but also link up with others when needed.

IJAD is a dance company working at the intersection of performing arts and technology and we’re looking for volunteers to help us with our upcoming live/hybrid festival at Riverside Studios Hammersmith, OOTFest25 (UN)SEEN.
About OOTFest: OOTFest is a festival of live/hybrid performances, workshops, expert panel discussions and installations that will take you to unchartered new worlds via digital-immersive technologies. It celebrates artists who take risks, embrace uncertainty and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
This year’s OOTFest will take place in-person at Riverside Studios, Hammersmith and online via the Open Online Theatre platform, 5-8 June 2025.

We’re looking for volunteers to help out in-person at Riverside Studios. Each shift will be varied and we’re looking for volunteers to:
- Take photos and videos for social media, alongside the official photographer
- Create high-quality content for IJAD’s social media channels
- Post content on IJAD’s social media channels throughout the festival
- Assist the festival artists
- Greet attendees and answer queries
- Direct attendees around the venue
- Help with setting up and packing down
What will be required from you?
Our main goal is to ensure a positive experience for all volunteers and we can be flexible with timings, however we would particularly love to hear from those who are able to commit to volunteering for multiple (3-4hr) shifts over the course of the festival.
You will be required to attend an online briefing in advance of the festival, as well as in-person induction at Riverside Studios (w/c 2 June).

The Gestalt Centre is an established educational and therapy charity, supporting the mental and psychological well-being of individuals, groups, and organisations.
Gestalt is a humanistic life-changing approach to life, counselling and psychotherapy. It enables people and organisations to manage change, develop meaningful relationships and lead fulfilling lives by creatively utilising their own resources, skills and strengths.
We are a dynamic organisation and run several accredited counselling and psychotherapy courses, along with professional development programmes for practitioners and organisations. We also offer affordable therapy and counselling and are a hub for a range of health and wellbeing practices for people in the community.

About the roles
The Gestalt Centre is a registered charity with a Board of Trustees and a Board of Directors. The Trustees are responsible for ensuring that the organisation carries out its purposes and for overall planning and good governance. The Directors (executive and non-executive) make decisions about strategy, the running of the organisation and oversee the work of the Psychotherapy faculty, the Counselling faculty and the management team.
Purpose of the role
Trustees are legally responsible for all aspects of the Charity, including:
- agreeing the purpose and strategy
- ensuring the Charity is financially viable
- making sure a charity does what it was set up to, which includes making decisions about how it is run
Operational matters are delegated to the CEO and the Executive.
Who we are looking for
We’re also seeking new Trustees who can strengthen our expertise in critical areas as we look to strengthen our Board to devise and deliver our ambitious plans. We are keen to hear from people with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Events management
- Fundraising
- Property
- Higher Education
- Marketing and Social Media
We are looking for a new Treasurer who will be a strategic thinker with good knowledge of charity accounting and the Charity SORP, and can ensure sound financial management. You will bring commercial acumen to guide our financial strategy during a transformative period.
You will also oversee our financial governance, reserve investment, and risk management while contributing your broader strategic insights and experience across all aspects of our work.
